This new comic by Mark Millar and Rafael Albuquerque presents an enigmatic character with an insatiable curiosity supported by a unique intellect. This is the second project after The Magic Order since the merge of the Millarworld publishing house and the streaming giant Netflix.

Where does it comes from?

In Prodigy #1 Edison Crane demonstrates that it is the most intelligent, successful and daring living being in the world, capable of solving any problem on an international scale, until it encounters a challenge, a possible invasion of an alternate world to ours.

A mysterious woman (Rachel) addresses him at the end of the first issue.

What's going on?

When in Australia appear a series of cars with a design never seen on our planet with beings like us but burned (as a failed experiment), Edison Crane quickly deduces that they come from a parallel universe and that an invasion is about to happen.

When Rachel visits him, it confirms his suspicion, apart from revealing that she knows the organization responsible for supporting this terrible invasion, the information about this plan is in the Kremlin.

On the other hand they reveal the name and location of this secret society that has been conspiring for centuries to carry out this invasion. They make it very clear that they are a group of very powerful people without any respect for human life.
