¿De qué viene?

¿Es él Ace o Joker? ¿Un superhumano con un don increíble... o una pobre alma retorcida por la mutación? Para Croyd Crenson, esa pregunta no se responde tan fácilmente. Claro, el virus Wild Card le dió poderes... ¡pero siguen cambiando! Concluyendo la adaptación de la trágica primera aparición del personaje favorito de los fanáticos de Roger Zelazny: the Sleeper.

Trama

Croyd Crenson es analizado por el Doctor Tachyon, quien no entiende cómo funcionan sus poderes, porque se modifican cada vez que se duerme. 

Tachyon define que hay tres tipos de manifestación de poderes:

BLACK QUEEN: los que fallecieron a causa de ese poder.

JOKERS: todos aquellos que quedaron deformes. Son rechazados y viven marginados.

ACES: quienes aceptan y disfrutan sus poderes.

Creson no entra en la clasificación, el solo quiere quedarse despierto lo suficiente para casarse, pero su cuerpo necesita transformarse y se convierte en algo monstruoso.

Excelente cierre de este primer volumen de este universo interesante e intenso con una visión real de los superhéroes de la Era de Oro.

Arte 

está lleno de texturas con detalles que logran un tono vintage de comics de pulp pero a la vez con toques muy frescos.

Resumen

Croyd Crenson intenta mantener su ultima transformación, pero sus poderes son dolorosamente impredecibles

What does it come from?

Is he Ace or Joker? A superhuman with an awesome gift…or a poor soul twisted by mutation? For Croyd Crenson, that question isn’t so easily answered. Sure, the Wild Card virus gave him powers…but they keep changing! Concluding the adaptation of the tragic first appearance of Roger Zelazny’s fan-favorite character — the Sleeper.

Plot

Croyd Crenson is analyzed by Doctor Tachyon, who doesn't understand how his powers work, because they change every time he falls asleep.

Tachyon defines that there are three types of manifestation of powers:

BLACK QUEEN: those who died because of that power.

JOKERS: all those who were deformed. They are rejected and live marginalized.

ACES: those who accept and enjoy their powers.

Creson doesn't make the cut, he just wants to stay awake long enough to get married, but his body needs to transform and he becomes something monstrous.

Excellent closing of this first volume of this interesting and intense universe with a real vision of the superheroes of the Golden Age.

Art

It is full of textures with details that achieve a vintage tone of pulp comics but at the same time with very fresh touches.

Summary

Croyd Crenson tries to keep his last transformation on himself, but his powers are painfully unpredictable.
