LAS COSAS SE PONEN UN POCO EXTRAÑAS EN LA NUEVA SERIE DE GERARD WAY, SHAUN SIMON Y CHRIS WESTON, “PARANOID GARDENS”

 

Este verano, Gerard Way y Shaun Simon, el equipo de redacción detrás de Tales from The Umbrella Academy: You Look Like Death y The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys: National Anthem, están de regreso y aportando vibraciones espeluznantes a una nueva y surrealista serie de cómics, Paranoid Gardens. 

Este cómic de seis números será escrito por Way y Simon con arte de Chris Weston (Judge Dredd, Ministry of Space), colores de Dave Stewart (Hellboy, Shaolin Cowboy: Cruel to Be Kin) y letras de Nate Piekos (Stranger Things, Black Hammer: Reborn). El número 1 contará con una portada troquelada con arte de Weston y una portada variante del renombrado ilustrador Motohiro Hayakawa. Las variantes sucesivas de los números incluirán obras de arte de Glenn Fabry, James Stokoe, Tradd Moore, Alice Darrow y David Mack.

Loo es enfermera en el centro de atención más extraño que existe. El personal no es del todo humano y los casos son francamente sobrenaturales. Extraterrestres, fantasmas, superhéroes y más criaturas plagan sus pasillos, ya que tanto los médicos como los pacientes y el propio hospital parecen ser algo conscientes de sí mismos. Loo cree que, a pesar de un reciente fracaso en su trabajo, se le ha asignado algún tipo de vocación superior en este misterioso lugar y decide aceptar el desafío. En el camino, deberá abrirse camino a través de miembros corruptos del personal, poderosas sectas de los parques temáticos y sus propios demonios y traumas personales para enfrentar este desafío y descubrir qué secretos guardan los jardines.
