¿De qué viene?

Cole, un sencillo hombre de mantenimiento, se encuentra en el punto de mira de un despiadado sindicato del crimen, junto con su esposa embarazada. Pero, ¿cuál es el significado del “pequeño libro negro” de contactos del inframundo que el difunto padre de Cole había escondido en su casa? El difunto padre de Cole creía que lo mejor que podía hacer por su hijo era mantenerse al margen de su vida, pero ¿la manzana cae lejos del árbol...?

Trama 

Cole Moyer y su recién embarazada esposa tienen una vida humilde en Texas, hasta que Cole recibe la noticia de la muerte de su padre y que le dejó una mansión llena de comodidades en Arizona. 

Cole y su padre no tenían contacto desde que Cole era un niño y ocurrió un incidente, por lo que esta herencia es un misterio.

Meses después de mudarse, Cole revisa una tubería dañada y descubrió una libreta negra con una serie de nombres, aparte un celular Nokia de la década de 1990, todo esto es un misterio para Cole, que empieza a analizar.

Una noche la esposa de Cole sufre un percance y Cole pone en uso esta misteriosa libreta...con un resultado muy eficiente.

Interesante historia que mezcla suspenso con elementos normales de la vida cotidiana fáciles de identificarse.

Arte

Es muy detallado y lleno de iluminación, con pocas texturas y muy prolijo, los colores son frescos y denotan todo los detalles.

Resumen 

Cole y su esposa se mudan para tener una mejor vida pero no saben el misterio que ronda alrededor de este "regalo".

Es una mezcla de Goodfellas con The Irishman

What does it come from?

Cole, a straight-arrow handyman, finds himself in the crosshairs of a ruthless crime syndicate—along with his pregnant wife. But what is the meaning of the “little black book” of underworld contacts Cole’s deceased father had hidden in his home? Cole’s deceased father believed the best thing he could do for his son was to stay out of his life, but does the apple fall far from the tree...?

Plot

Cole Moyer and his newly pregnant wife live a humble life in Texas, until Cole receives the news that his father has died and left him a mansion full of comforts in Arizona. Cole and his father had no contact since Cole was a child and an incident occurred, so this inheritance is a mystery. Months after moving in, Cole checks a damaged pipe and discovers a black notebook with a series of names, plus a Nokia cell phone from the 1990s, all of this is a mystery to Cole, which he begins to analyze. One night Cole's wife suffers an accident and Cole puts this mysterious notebook to use...with a very efficient result. Interesting story that mixes suspense with normal elements of everyday life that are easy to identify with. Art It is very detailed and full of lighting, with few textures and very neat, the colors are fresh and denote all the details. Summary Cole and his wife move to have a better life but don't know the mystery surrounding this "gift." It's a mix of Goodfellas and The Irishman
