¿De qué viene?

¡UNA NACIÓN CONDENADA! ¡Es un enfrentamiento entre DOOM y el CAPITÁN AMÉRICA, con el destino de Latveria en juego! Mientras Doom prepara un ataque fatal contra quienes se le oponen, una traición repentina pone al Cap contra las cuerdas y cuestiona todo lo que creía saber...

Trama

Steve Rogers logra detener la ejecución pública de Marius Wolf (líder de la resistencia contra Doom en Latveria),  empezando una batalla pública con Doom y sus Doombots, ganando tiempo para que el otro Capitan America, Dave Colton, localice a los únicos sobrevivientes del a embajada, el esposo e hija de la embajadora.

Steve Rogers logra jugar con el ego de Doom y luchan. Con un dispositivo de Reed Richards, Steve neutraliza las armas del traje de Doom y le quita la máscara, dejándolo en su estado más vulnerable por lo que se retira.

Colton y los nuevos Howling Commandos llegan a la ubicación del esposo de la embajadora y su hija. Colton no se da cuenta cuando uno de los soldados de los Howling Commandos asesina al esposo de la embajadora y va a hacer lo mismo con la hija, porque resulta que la verdadera misión era eliminar a todos los rehenes, porque ellos son la prueba de colaboración de EE.UU con Latveria para ayudar a Doctor Doom a tomar el poder. Colton pierde los estribos y elimina a esa soldado y en un ataque psicótico le avisa a Steve Rogers que se va a quedar en Latveria y va a eliminar a todos los que ayudaron a Doom.

Este cómic ofrece una visión brillante y realista de Capitán América, refresca su mitología al ubicarlo en un escenario actual, donde Steve y David son dos caras de la misma moneda pero con niveles de decepción muy distintos.

Arte

Es un arte lleno de detalles que son elevados a otro nivel de calidad con diferentes texturas, donde ofrece diseños tan avasallantes como alucinantes de Capitán América y su nuevo universo de personajes.

What does it come from?

Plot

Steve Rogers manages to stop the public execution of Marius Wolf (leader of the resistance against Doom in Latveria), beginning a public battle with Doom and his Doombots, buying time for the other Captain America, Dave Colton, to locate the only survivors of the embassy, ​​the ambassador's husband and daughter.

Steve Rogers manages to play on Doom's ego and they fight. Using a device from Reed Richards, Steve neutralizes Doom's suit's weapons and removes his mask, leaving him at his most vulnerable, so he retreats.

Colton and the new Howling Commandos arrive at the location of the ambassador's husband and daughter. Colton doesn't realize when one of the Howling Commandos soldiers murders the ambassador's husband and is about to do the same to her daughter. It turns out the real mission was to eliminate all the hostages, as they are proof of the US's collaboration with Latveria to help Doctor Doom seize power. Colton loses his temper and kills that soldier. In a psychotic fit, he warns Steve Rogers that he will stay in Latveria and eliminate everyone who helped Doom.

This comic offers a brilliant and realistic take on Captain America, refreshing his mythology by placing him in a modern-day setting, where Steve and David are two sides of the same coin but with very different levels of disappointment.

Art

It's art filled with details that are elevated to another level of quality with different textures, offering designs as overwhelming as they are mind-blowing of Captain America and his new universe of characters.
