Ghost Machine Productions lanza GEIGER en un nuevo volumen, del escritor Geoff Johns, el artista Gary Frank y el colorista Brad Anderson. Esta serie de cómics tendrá frecuencia mensual y forma parte de la primera ola de cómics de Ghost Machine Productions. La serie sigue las aventuras de Tariq Geiger, el misterioso Hombre Resplandeciente presentado por primera vez en la exitosa serie GEIGER Vol 1 de Johns y Frank, que se lanzó en 2021 y fue publicada por Image Comics. GEIGER también se está desarrollando para televisión en Paramount TV con Justin Simien como director.

Trama
Este nuevo arco argumental deja claro que Geiger necesita una cura, ya que su condición se está volviendo cada vez más inestable, la aparición de Junkyard Joe es un misterio, pero al parecer sus intenciones son de ayudar, incluso hay un flashback que muestra a Red Coat. Poco a poco todos estos héroes soldados de este universo se están conectando.
Por otro lado el ingeniero que creó a Junkyard Joe, The Custodian sigue la pista de su robot con niveles tóxicos de obsesión, está muy cerca de llegar a la guarida de Ash Arden. The Custodian tiene una alianza y plan secreto con el Presidente Griffin.
Ash Arden es la versión femenina de Geiger quien al parecer logró controlar sus poderes, es posiblemente la cura que busca Tariq.
Ash Arden empieza a entrenar a Tariq para que aprenda a controlar su poder al quitarse las barras de Boro, según Ash es un proceso de control mental de la ira, pero Ash guarda secretos como que tiene encerrado al Doctor Molotov, hay un flashback que muestran cómo se conocieron, Molotov buscaba a Geiger y se consiguió con ella, un caso muy similar. Ash tiene encerrado a Molotov, lo necesita para su plan. Molotov le advierte que Geiger e peligroso.
Geiger confronta a Ash y le pide respuestas a tantas mentiras, como haber ocultado a Molotov, ella le responde que lo está usando porque es un asesino sin remordimientos, mientras ella si sufre por todos aquellos que ha matado, su plan es el siguiente, explotar la bomba y Geiger va a absorber la energía y radiación de todo incluido la de ella y le va a quitar sus poderes y será feliz, sin importar que todo el pueblo muera en el proceso.
Ash se arrepiente y ayuda a Geiger, ella se va por su camino y Geiger también, acompañado de Molotov, Nate, Junkyard Joe y sus mascotas.
Este cómic es una obra maestra con mensajes sobre la empatía y las segundas oportunidades en un mundo imposible de lidiar, es sin duda una de las mejores series de cómics que existe actualmente.

Gary Frank y Brad Anderson logran el balance perfecto de un arte sumamente detallado y orgánico con colores claros que no esconde nada. Es hipnotizante cada panel de cada página.

Plot
This new story arc makes it clear that Geiger needs a cure, as his condition is becoming increasingly unstable. Junkyard Joe's appearance is a mystery, but it seems his intentions are to help; there's even a flashback showing Red Coat. Little by little, all these soldier heroes of this universe are connecting.
Meanwhile, the engineer who created Junkyard Joe, The Custodian, is tracking his robot, which is experiencing toxic levels of obsession. He's very close to reaching Ash Arden's lair. The Custodian has a secret alliance and plan with President Griffin.
Ash Arden is the female version of Geiger, who apparently managed to control her powers. She is possibly the cure Tariq is looking for.
Ash Arden begins training Tariq to control his power after removing the Boro rods. According to Ash, it's a process of mind control over anger, but Ash is keeping secrets, such as having Dr. Molotov imprisoned. There's a flashback showing how they met: Molotov was searching for Geiger and stumbled upon her—a very similar case. Ash has Molotov locked up; she needs him for her plan. Molotov warns her that Geiger is dangerous.
Geiger confronts Ash and demands answers about her many lies, such as hiding Molotov. She replies that she's using him because he's a remorseless killer, while she suffers for all those he has killed. Her plan is this: detonate the bomb, and Geiger will absorb the energy and radiation from everything, including hers, stripping her of her powers. She will be happy, regardless of whether the entire town dies in the process.
Ash repents and helps Geiger. She goes her own way, and Geiger does too, accompanied by Molotov, Nate, Junkyard Joe, and their pets.
This comic is a masterpiece with messages about empathy and second chances in a world that seems impossible to deal with.It's undoubtedly one of the best comic series currently available.
