Nick y Denny finalmente tienen una pequeña pista en su caso, pero seguir este rastro de migas de pan podría llevarlos a un lugar inesperado. Mientras tanto, Blake Wohl tiene su propia pista en lo que podría ser la historia de su vida. Y mientras Hernando y Yuri sienten que el peligro se acerca y el destino del mundo está en juego, deben acelerar la línea temporal de los Sintéticos y simplemente esperar que su arduo trabajo no se desperdicie.

Trama
La historia ocurre en el futuro y es narrada en tres subtramas que se conectarán más adelante, cargadas de misterios, teorías conspirativas e investigaciones de crímenes:
La primera subtrama muestra a Nick y Denny tras la pista que les proporcionó la memoria que consiguieron en el mercado negro, que contiene copias de recuerdos, como si alguien estuviera haciendo células cerebrales sintéticas, lo cual está prohibido solo en casos específicos de investigación. Ambos detectives se entrevistan con el científico Hernando Montoya de la empresa Vita Nova, quien acepta que esos pedazos neurales sintéticos son creados por ello que seguramente tuvieron un robo interno, pero en realidad es parte de su investigación dirigida por el multimillonario Yuri. Yuri va a llamar a los primeros humanos sintéticos capaces de sobrevivir la toxicidad de las Zonas Muertas, Alexander y Hannah como su fallecida hermana. El uso de estas memorias sintéticas hacen que las personas caigan en un vacío mortal que les hace que sus órganos fallen y mueran.
La segunda subtrama explica como hace cinco años noticia sobre las "DEATH ZONES" lugares donde la vida humana no es posible por el alto nivel de toxicidad en general por el cambio climático creó un cambio de cultura mundial, donde le dieron al planeta máximo quince años de vida.
La tercera subtrama muestra cómo el detective Nick tiene a su hermana aislada de la realidad en una casa donde las ventanas hacen ver que el mundo está bien, las noticias forman parte de un streaming donde las historias son todas positivas e inventadas. Al parecer Nick usa también esas memorias sintéticas.
Este cómic posee una premisa impactante con potente profundidad narrativa, cuyas bases sólidas están apoyadas en la ciencia ficción, futuros distópicos, tecnología médica y psicológica social.
Arte
Con un gran nivel de detalle, las expresiones faciales y anatomía son hipnotizantes, logrando secuencias que mezclan ciencia ficción con suspenso con toques Noir y una paleta de colores magníficamente escogida.

Where does it comes from?
Nick and Denny finally have a thin lead in their case, but following this trail of breadcrumbs could lead them somewhere unexpected. Meanwhile, Blake Wohl has their own lead on what could possibly be the story of a lifetime. And as Hernando and Yuri feel danger closing in and the fate of the world at stake, they must accelerate the Synthetics timeline and simply hope that their hard work isn’t undone!

Plot
The story takes place in the future and is told through three interconnected subplots, filled with mysteries, conspiracy theories, and criminal investigations:
The first subplot follows Nick and Denny on the trail of a memory chip they acquired on the black market. This chip contains copies of memories, as if someone were creating synthetic brain cells, which is only permitted in specific research cases. The two detectives interview scientist Hernando Montoya of the Vita Nova corporation, who admits that these synthetic neural fragments were created through an internal theft, but in reality, it's part of his research directed by the billionaire Yuri. Yuri plans to create the first synthetic humans capable of surviving the toxicity of the Dead Zones: Alexander and Hannah, named after his deceased sister. The use of these synthetic memories causes people to fall into a deadly void, leading to organ failure and death.
The second subplot explains how, five years ago, news about "DEATH ZONES"—places where human life is impossible due to high levels of toxicity caused by climate change—created a global cultural shift, giving the planet a maximum of fifteen years to live.
The third subplot shows how Detective Nick keeps his sister isolated from reality in a house where the windows make it seem as if the world is fine. The news is part of a streaming service where all the stories are positive and fabricated. Apparently, Nick also uses these synthetic memories.
This comic has a striking premise with powerful narrative depth, its solid foundations resting on science fiction, dystopian futures, medical technology, and social psychology.
Art
With a high level of detail, the facial expressions and anatomy are mesmerizing, achieving sequences that blend science fiction with suspense, touches of noir, and a magnificently chosen color palette.
Summary
Nick and Denny begin to uncover the radical conspiracy of the Vita Nova corporation to create a new human race that can withstand climate catastrophe
