Trama

Rodger Broderick es un publicista encargado de relanzar X-Factor como el nuevo equipo de mutantes encargados de ayudar al gobierno de EE.UU a realizar misiones complicadas y peligrosas, aunque la encargada del departamento la General Mills no comparte la agresiva estrategia de marketing donde quieren que cada integrante sea un influencer.

X-Factor es auspiciada por la empresa digital CLICKCLOCK, misteriosa y muy mencionada.

Este equipo es liderado por Ángel (quien tiene 8% de las ganancias de proyecto de marketing) y lo acompaña Firefist, Feral, Cameo y Xyber (su poder mutante en crear pulsos electromagnéticos que afectan circuitos).

Havok vive con Polaris y quiere formar parte de este equipo porque sabe que usando esta plataforma puede ayudar a otros mutantes en peligro, pero Polaris no lo acepta porque le dice que lo van a cambiar. Pero Havok sabe que EE.UU no es el único país creando estos equipos, cada gobierno está creando su ejército de mutantes mercenarios pero de manera clandestina.

La primera misión de X-FACTOR es detener al equipo de mercenarios de Darkstar en una planta nuclear en un país que formaba parte de la Unión Soviética, esta misión logra su objetivo pero solo sobreviven Angel y Xyber...todos los demás fallecen.

Pero de manera instantánea Rodger crea y presenta al público otra alineación liderada por Havok que lo acompaña Cecilia Reyes, Pyro, Granny Smite, Frenzy y Xyber. 

Intensa y emocionante primera entrega donde muestran lo indispensables que son los mutantes para esta organización gubernamental. Mark Russell de nuevo sabe introducir en este universo de personajes temas relevantes y reales que crean en el lector un análisis de conciencia del entorno. 

Arte

Con texturas y detalles, Bob Quinn logra una fusión entre los diseños clásicos de X-Factor pero los moderniza con diseños geniales. Las secuencias de acción usan ángulos interesantes y poses épocas clásicas.

Resumen

X-Factor regresa con el máximo apoyo gubernamental y de marketing donde ningún integrante es importante, solo el nombre del equipo. 

Brillante nueva serie mutante de comics, donde la

segregación y demagogia política son mezcladas con mutantes.

Plot

Rodger Broderick is a publicist in charge of relaunching X-Factor as the new team of mutants in charge of helping the US government carry out complicated and dangerous missions, although the head of the department, General Mills, does not share the aggressive marketing strategy where they want each member to be an influencer.

X-Factor is sponsored by the mysterious and much-mentioned digital company CLICKCLOCK.

This team is led by Angel (who has 8% of the profits from the marketing project) and is accompanied by Firefist, Feral, Cameo and Xyber (his mutant power in creating electromagnetic pulses that affect circuits).

Havok lives with Polaris and wants to be part of this team because he knows that by using this platform he can help other mutants in danger, but Polaris does not accept him because she tells him that they are going to change him. But Havok knows that the US is not the only country creating these teams, each government is creating its army of mercenary mutants but in a clandestine manner.

X-FACTOR's first mission is to stop Darkstar's mercenary team at a nuclear power plant in a country that was part of the Soviet Union. This mission achieves its objective but only Angel and Xyber survive... everyone else dies.

But instantly Rodger creates and presents to the public another line-up led by Havok who is accompanied by Cecilia Reyes, Pyro, Granny Smite, Frenzy and Xyber.

Intense and exciting first installment where they show how indispensable mutants are for this government organization.Mark Russell once again knows how to introduce relevant and real themes into this universe of characters that create an analysis of the reader's conscience of the environment.

Art

With textures and details, Bob Quinn achieves a fusion between the classic designs of X-Factor but modernizes them with cool designs. The action sequences use interesting angles and classic era poses.

Summary

X-Factor returns with maximum government and marketing support where no member is important, only the name of the team.

Brilliant new mutant comic series, where segregation and political demagogy are mixed with mutants.
