THE BUTCHER, Parte 3

What does it come from?

THE BUTCHER, Part Three
Now that we’ve seen exactly why he’s called The Butcher, we feel the trembling of every Resident shocked to their core. Next on Butcher’s list: the agoraphobic Miss Goodbody. Judging by the cover, they have a nice chat.

Plot
The Butcher of Hyde Street continues his trail of death after eliminating Pranky. His next victim is Mrs. Goodbody; he beats her mercilessly, exploiting the fact that if she tries to flee her shop, the organism she uses to slim down her victims will destroy her. The Butcher knows the true nature of Hyde Street.

Meanwhile, Sisterhood recounts The Butcher's origins to Mr. X-Ray. He arrived on Hyde Street in 1906 and, after delivering three souls to the Scorekeeper, rebelled and began violently and graphically murdering the other residents. Faced with this threat, Sisterhood allied with The Matinee Monster, The Nanny Nurse, and General Whitlock to summon the Scorekeeper and ask for help. The entity explained that there is a prison—featuring a wooden door made from timber from Noah's Ark—that managed to contain The Butcher for 73 years (starting in 1953) until his recent release in 2026.

Before The Butcher's first massacre in 1953, residents attacked freely on Hyde Street. Now, however, they live in terror, patiently waiting for victims to knock on their doors.

The Butcher's victims bore strange marks on their bodies.

The appearance of Judy, Mr. X-Ray's daughter, adds a new layer of mystery. She leaves a message for her father while simultaneously manifesting in Sisterhood's tarot cards—a clear sign that a major event is about to unfold on Hyde Street, one closely linked to The Butcher's escape.

Meanwhile, Mrs. Goodbody manages to escape her shop and is attacked by the fat-devouring creature, but she is saved in the nick of time by General Whitlock, who appears ready to face The Butcher once again.

This is a striking installment, packed with revelations and new characters; the universe begins to take clearer shape, even as several questions remain unanswered.

Art
It features a retro aesthetic that evokes the grim atmosphere of 1980s supernatural horror and slasher films. The artwork is highly detailed and succeeds in capturing remarkable facial expressions.

Summary
News of The Butcher’s first massacre raises the alarm among the Residents of Hyde Street, who must band together to survive this new cycle of violence
