Ghost Machine Productions lanza REDCOAT un nuevo personaje que lo conocimos en los dos espicales GEIGER 80-PAGE GIANT #1 (2022) y GHOST MACHINE #1 ONE-SHOT (2024), del escritor Geoff Johns, el artista Bryan Hitch, que narra las aventuras de un casi heroe de heurra que forma parte del universo de los UNNAMED que incluye a Geiger y Junkyard Joe.

¿De qué viene?

El héroe inmortal de THE UNNAMED, Simon Pure, se ha ganado muchos más enemigos que amigos a lo largo de los siglos. ¡Nadie más que la macabra camarilla de figuras de culto encapuchadas que lo persiguieron implacablemente a través de esos siglos! Pero Albert Einstein, de 13 años, afirma saber cómo ayudar a Simon a desbloquear sus verdaderos poderes... si Simon se lo permite.

Trama

Simón Pure y Albert Einstein siguen escuchando la explicación de Benedict Arnold sobre el hacha que le hizo daño, que es la misma con la que George Wasinhgton cortó el famoso cerezo en su infancia. Benedict se excusa y Einstein descubre un pasadizo secreto donde está el libro del culto que le dio los poderes a Simon y que ahora empieza a perder.

Pero en ese momento son atacados por el culto que usan encantamientos poderosos, Red Coat y Einstein quedan inconscientes, en una secuencia de persecución que involucra mucha magia y artefactos misteriosos.

El ritmo narrativo es emocionante y los diálogos son un deleite donde siguen nutriendo la este universo con historia real y ficción en un perfecto balance.

Arte

Bryan Hitch ofrece su visión cinematográfica, dónde dirige secuencias de acción hipnotizantes y captura los detalles y tonos de cada época de antaño. Los colores crean la atmósfera perfecta de una época ruda de posguerra.

What does it come from?

THE UNNAMED’s immortal hero, Simon Pure, has made a lot more enemies than friends through the centuries. None more so than the macabre cabal of hooded cult figures relentlessly chasing him through those centuries! But 13-year-old Albert Einstein claims to know how to help Simon unlock his true powers…if Simon will let him.

Plot

Simón Pure and Albert Einstein continue listening to Benedict Arnold's explanation about the ax that hurt him, which is the same one with which George Wasinhgton cut down the famous cherry tree in his childhood. Benedict excuses himself and Einstein discovers a secret passage where is the book of the cult that gave Simon his powers and that now he is beginning to lose.

But just then they are attacked by the cult using powerful enchantments, Red Coat and Einstein are knocked unconscious, in a chase sequence involving a lot of magic and mysterious artifacts.

The narrative rhythm is exciting and the dialogues are a delight where they continue to nourish this universe with real history and fiction in a perfect balance.

Art

Bryan Hitch offers the cinematic vision of it, where he directs mesmerizing action sequences and captures the details and tones of each era of yesteryear. The colors create the perfect atmosphere of a rough post-war era.

Summary

Simon and Einstein are getting closer and closer to the origin of Red Coat's powers, where their lives are in danger.
