-Un crossover de RADIOACTIVE REVOLUTION entre sus series en curso GEIGER y REDCOAT.
«Creo que lo que nos entusiasmó tanto de San Diego fue cuando se empezó a hablar de un número de prueba para mostrar algunos proyectos que saldrán en 2027», dice Geoff Johns de GHOST MACHINE. “Como RADIOACTIVE REVOLUTION, el crossover entre Geiger y Redcoat… es súper emocionante. Y luego ROOK: WARDENS, en el que Jay [Fabok] y yo hemos estado trabajando para expandir el universo de ROOK: EXODUS, y el arte de Ed Benes es precioso.

That’s a wrap on another great San Diego Comic-Con, and in case you didn’t hear, GHOST MACHINE made waves with some huge publishing news with Image Comics, and merchandise announcements with McFarlane Toys.
Here’s the rundown if you missed the show this past weekend.
GHOST MACHINE announced FOUR new publishing projects during its panels at SDCC 2026, which were all teased & previewed in the GHOST MACHINE 2026 ASHCAN San Diego Comic-Con exclusive:
- FIRST GHOST #1 by best-selling author Brad Meltzer (Identity Crisis), writer Geoff Johns (GEIGER, REDCOAT, HYDE STREET, ROOK: EXODUS), and artist Gene Ha (Wonder Woman: Historia).
- THE SOULLESS: A HYDE STREET STORY #1 by writer Lamont Magee (“Black Lightning,” “Young Jedi Adventures”) and artist Francis Portela (HYDE STREET).

- A RADIOACTIVE REVOLUTION crossover between its ongoing GEIGER and REDCOAT series.
“I think the thing that got us so excited originally about San Diego was when there started to be talk of an ashcan to preview some projects coming out in 2027,” GHOST MACHINE's Geoff Johns says. “Like the RADIOACTIVE REVOLUTION, the crossover between Geiger and Redcoat…that's super exciting. And then ROOK: WARDENS, which Jay [Fabok] and I have been working on expanding the world of ROOK: EXODUS, and Ed Benes’ art is beautiful.
“FIRST GHOST with Brad Meltzer and Gene Ha is a beautiful book as well,” Johns continues. “And SOULLESS—I've been dying for this to come out, because Lamont [Magee's] first script—and everyone at GHOST MACHINE has said—this is one of the best comic book scripts I've ever read. It's really, really good. And Francis Portela is doing a beautiful job in the artwork.”
In addition to those major publishing ventures—establishing two new series, expanding one ongoing title, and bringing in heavy-hitting A-list creatives to the fold—the comic studio also revealed a major merchandise initiative. GHOST MACHINE teams with iconic Image founder Todd McFarlane (Spawn) and his McFarlane Toys for an articulated Geiger action figure that’s available for pre-order right now!
“I don't think anyone can argue that McFarlane Toys make the best action figures out there,” Johns says. “Since back in the day when Todd first launched these figures, I remember seeing the Spawn figures, and Medieval Spawn and Angela, and being blown away by the detail and the articulation, and they continued to do that, and have for years and years now. “When we first started talking to them specifically about Geiger, it was exciting because we got to work with people who we know and love at the company, and the quality of it is as expected. It's fantastic. We're super excited for it to be out.” |
