¿De qué viene?
¡ESCAPA DEL HAMBRE! ¡Un brote de ZOMBIS ha azotado Manhattan y toda la ciudad está siendo invadida rápidamente! Mientras los HÉROES MÁS PODEROSOS DE LA TIERRA sucumben al virus, se erige apresuradamente una barrera para proteger al mundo, pero dentro de la barrera, se ha desatado una zona de guerra donde los supervivientes luchan por sus vidas contra la horda cada vez mayor. Sin embargo, un hombre no busca sobrevivir, sino respuestas, mientras abre su propio camino sangriento a través de la ciudad devastada. ¿Y si algún zombi se interpone en su camino? ¡Pues bien, PUNISHER tiene suficiente plomo para que se lo coman!
Trama
En esta nueva versión, la infección la llevó a cabo The Hand, liderados por Gorgon, sus hechizos de resurrección se convirtieron en un virus contagioso.
Reed Richards, Iron Man y Ant-man habían creado un plan de contingencia, un domo de campo de fuerza que encierra a todo Nueva York, dentro del domo quedaron atrapados gente sin infectar y héroes infectados como Iron Man y Thor, también quedó Punisher, sano y listo para eliminar todos los zombies que pueda.
Fuera del domo están Capitán América, los Cuatro Fantásticos, Ant-man, Wasp, Scarlet Witch, Vision y Nick Fury. Fury confía en que Punisher va a limpiar toda Nueva York, porque de lo contrario le pedirán al Presidente de EE.UU que active un dispositivo para eliminar todo lo que está debajo del domo. No hay manera de entrar al domo.
Gorgon tiene controlado a todos los zombies, incluído Thor.
Punisher se lleva a Micro para que le ayude a eliminar a Thor, pero son acorralados por Jigsaw zombie, lamentablemente Micro fallece. Punisher se repliega y se encuentra con Hobgoblin, Iron Fist y Luke Cage que lo atacan.
Emocionante nueva reimaginación de este universo de Marvel infectado.
Arte
Lleno de texturas y trazos logra un tono lúgubre y escalofriante que logra momentos de terror mezclados con el clásico tiroteo sangriento de la saga de War Zone.

What does it come from?
ESCAPE THE HUNGER! A ZOMBIE outbreak has hit Manhattan and the whole city is rapidly overrun! As EARTH'S MIGHTIEST HEROES succumb to the virus, a barrier is hastily erected to protect the world - but inside the barrier, a war zone hes broken out es survivors fight for their lives against the ever-growing horde. However, one man isn't looking for survival - he's after answers as he carves a bloody swathe of his own through the ravaged city. And if any zombies get in his way? Well, the PUNISHER has plenty of lead that they can eat!
Plot
In this new version, the infection was carried out by The Hand, led by Gorgon, whose resurrection spells became a contagious virus.
Reed Richards, Iron Man, and Ant-Man had created a contingency plan: a force field dome that encloses all of New York City. Inside the dome are uninfected people and infected heroes like Iron Man and Thor. The Punisher is also inside, healthy and ready to eliminate as many zombies as he can.
Outside the dome are Captain America, the Fantastic Four, Ant-Man, Wasp, Scarlet Witch, Vision, and Nick Fury. Fury is confident that the Punisher will clear all of New York, because otherwise, they will ask the President of the United States to activate a device to eliminate everything below the dome. There is no way in. Gorgon has all the zombies under control, including Thor.
Punisher takes Micro with him to help eliminate Thor, but they are cornered by a zombie Jigsaw, and tragically, Micro dies. Punisher retreats and encounters Hobgoblin, Iron Fist, and Luke Cage, who attack him.

Full of textures and lines, it achieves a gloomy and chilling tone, creating moments of terror mixed with the classic bloody shootouts of the War Zone saga.
