Trama

Thundarr, Princesa Ariel y Ookla viajan hasta donde están los hechiceros en 1994 para detener su hechizo para eliminar a toda la raza humana.

Thundarr los confronta con su espada solar, pero ellos hacen que Thundarr empiece a experimentar un efecto temporal de viajar en el tiempo, de manera que en segundos ve como todos los humanos fueron masacrados y que el mundo de donde él viene, él es el único humano sobreviviente.

Sin embargo esta paradoja temporal hace que regrese con los hechiceros y se encuentre consigo mismo. 

Todo este viaje en el tiempo no está explicado por completo, hay que esperar más entregas para entender cómo funciona.

Este cómic sigue mezclando ciencia ficción, con fantasía en un ambiente distópico, que toma en serio la premisa original que Hanna-Barbera con Ruby-Spears plasmó en la serie animada original en la década de 1980.

Arte

Kewer captura esa mezcla de barbarie con ciencia ficción perfecta en cada uno de sus paneles y creando a la vez una atmósfera de misterio.

The future is now! The future is Thundarr!

Written by Jason Aaron and drawn by Kewber Baal (Vampirella: Armageddon, Elvira), along with all-star covers by Michael Cho, Francesco Mattina, Bjorn Barends and Joseph Michael Linsner!

Plot

Thundarr, Princess Ariel, and Ookla travel to 1994 to where the sorcerers are to stop their spell to wipe out the entire human race.

Thundarr confronts them with his sun sword, but they cause him to experience a temporal effect of time travel, so that in seconds he sees all humans massacred and that in the world he comes from, he is the only surviving human.

However, this temporal paradox causes him to return to the sorcerers and find himself in the past.

This entire time travel process is not fully explained; we'll have to wait for future installments to understand how it works.

This comic continues to blend science fiction with fantasy in a dystopian setting, taking seriously the original premise that Hanna-Barbera and Ruby Spears established in the original animated series in the 1980s.

Artwork

Kewer perfectly captures that blend of barbarism and science fiction in each of his panels, creating an atmosphere of mystery.

Summary

Thundarr, Ariel, and Ookla embark on a time-traveling adventure that changes everything.

Genial historia llena de momentos contemplativos sobre este proceso de adaptación de Concrete a sí mismo y poder transmitirlo a otros. Hay que estar al día con la lectura anterior.

Arte

Es sumamente detallado y realista que te hipnotiza con su dinamismo, apoyado por una paleta de colores genial que representa a las dunas y esos climas desérticos.

Plot

The art is incredibly detailed and realistic, captivating with its dynamism and enhanced by a fantastic color palette that perfectly captures the dunes and the desert landscape.

RESEÑA EN ESPAÑOL/INGLÉS DE "HELLBOY IN LOVE OBSIDIAN #1 de 2" CON SPOILERS

¿De Qué viene?

Anastasia es llamada a Creta cuando un equipo de excavación descubre una tumba con sorprendentes similitudes con el cráneo grabado que le robó una bruja en la India. La búsqueda de pruebas de la misteriosa sociedad Suaren Artea no se ha estancado tanto como pensaba, pero el peligro sigue acechando en cada esquina.

Historia en dos partes.

Trama

Hellboy y Anastasia están en Grecia en una playa nudista en 1980, donde el único con traje de baño, Hellboy está incómodo y avergonzado, esta relación es hermosa porque cada uno se complemente al otro. 

Anastasia le dice a Hellboy que debería comunicarse con su padre y todo el equipo de la B.P.R.D, pero Hellboy solo quiere estar con Anastasia. En la noche son atacados por una araña gigante, pero no les parece extraño.

Luego de esta salida en pareja tan hilarante, ambos van a la excavación del Dr Campbell donde consigue vestigios similares a la del culto de brujas Suaren Arte que Anastasia investiga. En este lugar conoce al Dr Sheffield, quién está detrás del attune de la araña, es en realidad la bruja Delilah que intenta proteger el secreto de Suaren Artea.

Delilah ataca a Hellboy y Anastasia con una horda de arañas, que se llevan a Anastasia y dejan a Hellboy debilitado por todas las picaduras venenosas.

Sigue esta historia hermosa que mezcla terror sobrenatural y romance con una versión de  Hellboy vulnerable y perdidamente enamorado.

Arte

Alex Nieto ofrece un arte con un tono ingenuo pero que a su vez logra un efecto fúnebre genial para esta historia. La paleta de colores se mueve entre el rojo, naranja y verde en sus diferentes iteraciones ofreciendo un sensación de ambiente sepia que nos traslada a la década de 1970.

Resumen

Anastasia y Hellboy son de nuevo interceptados por la bruja Delilah cuando estaban cerca de descubrir más sobre el Suaren Artea.

What does it come from?

Anastasia is called to Crete when an excavation team unearths a tomb with striking similarities to the engraved skull stolen from her by a witch in India. The trail for proof of the mysterious Suaren Artea society may not have gone as cold as she thought, but danger still lurks behind every turn.

Plot

Hellboy and Anastasia are in Greece on a nudist beach in 1980. The only one wearing a swimsuit, Hellboy is uncomfortable and embarrassed, but their relationship is beautiful because they complement each other perfectly.

Anastasia tells Hellboy he should contact his father and the entire B.P.R.D. team, but Hellboy only wants to be with Anastasia. That night, they are attacked by a giant spider, but they don't find it unusual.

After this hilarious date, they go to Dr. Campbell's excavation site, where he finds artifacts similar to those of the Suaren Artea witch cult, which Anastasia is investigating. There, she meets Dr. Sheffield, who is behind the spider's attack. He is actually the witch Delilah, trying to protect Suaren Artea's secret.

Delilah attacks Hellboy and Anastasia with a swarm of spiders, which abduct Anastasia and leave Hellboy weakened by numerous venomous bites.

Follow this beautiful story that blends supernatural horror and romance with a vulnerable and hopelessly lovestruck version of Hellboy.

Art

Alex Nieto delivers art with a naive yet brilliantly somber tone, perfectly suited to this story. The color palette shifts between red, orange, and green in its various iterations, creating a sepia-toned atmosphere reminiscent of the 1970s.

Summary

Anastasia and Hellboy are once again intercepted by the witch Delilah just as they are close to uncovering more about the Suaren Artea.
