Trama
"SUPERCROOKS", cuya traducción sería "Superladrones", esta novela gráfica que consta de cuatro partes cuenta la historia de un grupo de supervillanos que cansados de ser atrapados por todos los superhéroes en EE.UU deciden ir a Europa para hacer el robo del siglo.
Aunque la verdadera razón que los lleva a hacer esto es porque Carmine, un viejo villano y mentor, se endeuda con un mafioso y necesita conseguir cien millones de dólares, debido a esto Johnny Bolt reúne a su equipo para ayudarlo, el plan es ir a España a robarle todo el dinero a "El Bastardo" el supervillano más temido de la historia, que actualmente está retirado.
Dos momentos memorables son: el primero cuando recluta a todo su equipo, en especial cuando logra "convencer" (manipular) a un superhéroe (Gladiator) para que lo ayude, el segundo es cuando entran a la mansión de "El Bastardo" ahí entendemos por qué era necesario cada superpoder de cada ladrón (que incluyen: desvanesencia, psicokinesis, regeneración espontánea, electricidad etc.).

Este cómic es muy entretenido, y es como dice Mark Millar: "es una mezcla entre X-men y Ocean´s Eleven".

El arte es perfecto donde Leinil Yu ofrece su impronta llena de detalles y texturas que le ofrece un dinamismo orgánico hipnotizante.
This special edition from Dark Horse Books in trade paperback format with a reasonably low and unmissable price, includes all the variant covers as bonus material. Remember that this is one of the many comics owned by Netflix, which already has a its own series (anime) on its streaming platform.
This is a heist story where supervillains get together and pull the biggest job of their careers in a country miles away from all the superheroes. Think Ocean’s Eleven with masks.
Why do supervillains always pull jobs in the cities with all the superheroes? The last place you’d want to rob a bank is Metropolis or Gotham, because you’re only going to get caught and tossed in prison.
But Europe doesn’t have any superheroes at all, and if you’re an American supervillain looking to make a few bucks there’s worse places than Spain to hang out for a few weeks and get a suntan while you pull a legendary job against one of the greatest criminal minds of all time, who’s retired to the Costa Del Sol and has his loot stored away in a secret location.

Plot
"SUPERCROOKS," a four-part graphic novel, tells the story of a group of supervillains who, tired of being caught by every superhero in the US, decide to go to Europe to pull off the heist of the century.
The real reason behind their plan is that Carmine, an old villain and mentor, is in debt to a mobster and needs to get his hands on one hundred million dollars. Because of this, Johnny Bolt assembles his team to help him. The plan is to go to Spain and steal all the money from "El Bastardo," the most feared supervillain in history, who is currently retired.
Two memorable moments are: the first, when he recruits his entire team, especially when he manages to "convince" (manipulate) a superhero (Gladiator) to help him; the second is when they enter "The Bastard's" mansion, where we understand why each thief's superpower was necessary (including: vanishing, psychokinesis, spontaneous regeneration, electricity, etc.).

This comic is very entertaining, and as Mark Millar says, "it's a mix between X-Men and Ocean's Eleven."
