Co-creator Kelly Thompson and Tokitokoro’s JEFF THE LAND SHARK, the breakout character’s first-ever solo comic series, arrives on June 18.

 

New York, NY— April 24, 2025 — Hot off his star-making appearance in Marvel Rivals, Jeff the Land Shark makes a big splash this summer in his first-ever print comic series! Hitting stands on June 18, JEFF THE LAND SHARK is a five-issue limited series written by Jeff’s co-creator Kelly Thompson, following her Eisner-nominated It’s Jeff Infinity Comic, and drawn by acclaimed artist Tokitokoro. Today, fans can check out all six covers for the debut issue, including a new piece by best-selling artist Stanley “Artgerm” Lau that spotlights Jeff’s Marvel Rivals design.

 

While still keeping the comedic spirit of his Infinity Comic stories, JEFF THE LAND SHARK mark Jeff’s most dangerous adventure yet—so dangerous that he’ll unleash all-new abilities! The saga begins when an accident in the Sanctum Sanctorum creates a "Shadow Jeff" intent on causing trouble. Just announced at ComicsPro, superstar co-creator Kelly Thompson, who took Jeff to Eisner-nominated heights in the hit It’s Jeff Infinity Comic, and acclaimed artist Tokitokoro up the stakes on Jeff’s adventures this June in JEFF THE LAND SHARK! The five-issue limited series see Jeff make a splash all across the Marvel Universe as he teams up with the friends he’s made over the years, outsmarts more than a few rivals, and unleashes all-new abilities!

 

When an "accident" in the Sanctum Sanctorum creates a "Shadow Jeff" intent on causing trouble, Jeff scrambles to undo his mistake. But when the Shadow escapes into the floor, Jeff must follow if he intends to return the Shadow to where it belongs. It’s a grand tour of the Marvel Universe as the lovable land shark chases his shadow from The Savage Land to Madripoor, making new friends and enemies along the way. It will take everything Jeff's got to solve this problem and... reclaim his good name.
