Trama

Barón Mordo se propone a conseguir el Darkhold del Santo Santorum y su plan es atacar la confianza y psique de Doctor Strange con una alianza demoníaca.

Este comic hace un buen resumen del origen de Doctor Strange, mostrándolo más humano y vulnerable, interesante historia de una sola entrega.

 

Arte

Posee muchas texturas y detalles, con toques de nostalgia en los flashbacks que ofrecen ese arte vintage que rinde un hermoso tributo a Steve Ditko.

What does it come from?

These dark feelings now inhabit every fiber of Doctor Strange’s waking life and has left him weak and unable to protect the realm! Now, Baron Mordo and Nightmare are ready to strike! Can Stephen shake Nightmare’s grip over him? Or will the world be lost to Nightmare’s dream realm forever!

Plot

Baron Mordo sets out to get the Darkhold from Santo Santorum and his plan is to attack Doctor Strange's confidence and psyche with a demonic alliance.

This comic makes a good summary of the origin of Doctor Strange, showing him more human and vulnerable, interesting story of a single installment.

 

Art

It has a lot of textures and details, with touches of nostalgia in the flashbacks that offer that vintage art that pays a beautiful tribute to Steve Ditko.

Este es el episodio final del arco argumental Prey, sobre el misterioso regreso de Donald Blake.

¡LA OSCURA PRISIÓN DE DONALD BLAKE!

Durante años, el doctor Donald Blake ha vagado por una tierra lejos de Midgard, el lugar en el que alguna vez pensó que era su hogar. Ahora ha regresado a los Diez Reinos, pero no es el lugar donde estaba, ni él es el hombre que una vez compartió un cuerpo con un dios. ¡Nuevos terrores aguardan en lo que quizás sea la historia más oscura de Donny Cates hasta ahora!

En Thor #13 En Asgard Donald Blake sigue destruyendo Yggdrasil hasta que aparece Throg para detenerlo, Doctor Strange trae consigo a todo el pueblo de Asgard, Odin llega con su armadura, todos listos para la batalla hasta que Thor usando sus cuervos traslada su esencia al Destructor. Donald deberá enfrentarse a todos en una batalla final. El cierre del arco argumental.

Trama

Thor ataca con todo a Blake usando al Destructor, Blake se no se espera el ataque y hace aparecer el Mjolnir, pero Beta Ray Bill recupera el Mjolnir y responde el ataque.

Blake cae vencido y Odin se acerca para acabarlo, pero Thor regresa a Asgard usando el Mjolnir y lo detiene, molesto le dice a Odin que el es el Todo Padre y que se vaya  de donde vino.

Thor le perdona la vida a Blake porque lo considera su hermano de sangre, que entiende que no quiso que Odin lo creara, pero eso no significa que lo perdone por sus faltas y Loki se encarga de Blake convirtiéndolo en el dios de las mentiras en una eterna condena amarrándolo a ese trono.

Esta entrega cierra por todo lo alto esta magnifica historia que nutre la mitología de Thor cambiando el origen y propósito de Donald Blake. Es una obra maestra instantánea.

Arte

Nic Klein ilustra las mejores escenas y paginas splash de toda esta serie, impresionante.

This is the final episode of the Prey story arc, about the mysterious return of Donald Blake.

What does it come from?

For years Doctor Donald Blake has wandered a land far from Midgard, the place he once thought home. Now he has returned to the Ten Realms - but it is not the place it was, nor he the man who once shared a body with a god. New terrors await in what is perhaps Donny Cates' darkest story yet!

In Thor # 13 In Asgard Donald Blake continues to destroy Yggdrasil until Throg appears to stop him, Doctor Strange brings all the people of Asgard with him, Odin arrives with his armor, all ready for battle until Thor using his ravens transfers his essence to the Destroyer. Donald must face everyone in a final battle. The closing of the story arc.

Plot

Thor attacks Blake with everything using the Destroyer, Blake does not expect the attack and makes the Mjolnir appear, but Beta Ray Bill recovers the Mjolnir and responds the attack.

Blake falls defeated and Odin approaches to finish him off, but Thor returns to Asgard using the Mjolnir and stops him, annoyed he tells Odin that he is the All Father and to go where he came from.

Thor spares Blake's life because he considers him his blood brother, who understands that he did not want Odin to create him, but that does not mean that he forgives him for his faults and Loki takes care of Blake by turning him into the god of lies in a eternal damnation tying him to that throne.

This installment closes in style this magnificent story that nurtures the mythology of Thor by changing the origin and purpose of Donald Blake. It is an instant masterpiece.

Nic Klein illustrates the best scenes and splash pages of this entire series, impressive.
