¿De qué viene?

El Chico del Trillón de Dólares —también conocido como Tommy Townsend III— visita Warwick, Nueva York, para dar con la chica demonio y el chico ángel de los que se rumorea (Rose Hornsby y Zachary Halo). Junto con su fiel robot guardaespaldas, Sterling Steele, confronta a Rose y Zachary con pruebas de que conoce sus secretos más oscuros…

Trama

The Trillion Dollar Kid/Tommy crea un tour llamativo llamado FUN WONDERLAND, donde regala camisetas y golosinas, esto sirve fachada para usar su tecnología de drones espías para seguir su búsqueda de los seres excepcionales que sus padres le dieron el nombre clave Unbelievables, su primera parada es Warwick, el pueblo de Zach y Rose.

Tommy con la ayuda de Sterling estudia un día normal de la vida de Zach y Rose, donde evidencia que Rose tiene una familia normal y perfecta, Zach en cambio vive en un ambiente tóxico con su padres en la funeraria.

Zach y Rose despiertan porque sus poderes se activan y los lleva a una cueva donde hay unos demonios que se escaparon del infierno y ambos lo van a neutralizar, tanto Tommy como Sterling son testigos de esta batalla y casi salen heridos.

Tommy le explica a Zach y Rose sobre la desaparición de sus padres y que en la cueva sus padres había escrito la palabra UNBELIEVEABLES. Tommy quiere saber si sus padres están en el cielo o el infierno, Zach y Rose lo llevan al Purgatorio, donde confirman que los padres de Tommy no están muertos, no han llegado al cielo o al infierno.

Al llegar de nuevo a nuestro mundo, Sterling derriba un dron espía misterioso que los estaba espiando a todos.

Toomy en agradecimiento les regala a Rose y Zach un búnker de sus padres y le pide que lo acompañen a buscar otros UNBELIEVABLES en Washington...se llaman los ROCKETFELLERS!

Este crossover sigue balanceando la acción, con el misterio, la magia y ciencia ficción, mientras se empieza a develar que la existencia de los UNBELIEVABLES forma parte de algo más grande.

Arte

Crea un balance entre un arte ingenuo pero con toques lúgubres y muchos detalles, creando un balance artístico potente entre el horror del infierno con la luz cegadora del cielo.

Resumen
Zach y Rose conocen a Tommy, quien es testigo de su espectaculares poderes y hay una revelación sobre el paradero de los padres de Tommy.

What does it come from?

The Trillion Dollar Kid—aka TOMMY TOWNSEND III—pays a visit to Warwick, NY, to track down the rumored devil girl and angel boy (namely ROSE HORNSBY and ZACHARY HALO). Along with TOMMY’s faithful robot bodyguard STERLING STEELE, confronts ROSE and ZACH with evidence that he knows their darkest secrets…

Plot

The Trillion Dollar Kid/Tommy creates a flashy tour called FUN WONDERLAND, where he gives away t-shirts and candy. This serves as a front for using his spy drone technology to continue his search for the exceptional beings his parents codenamed "Unbelievables." His first stop is Warwick, the town of Zach and Rose.

Tommy, with Sterling's help, observes a typical day in Zach and Rose's lives, revealing that Rose has a normal, seemingly perfect family. Zach, on the other hand, lives in a toxic environment with his parents at the funeral home.

Zach and Rose awaken as their powers activate, leading them to a cave where demons escaped from Hell. They set out to neutralize them, and both Tommy and Sterling witness the battle, nearly getting hurt.

Tommy explains to Zach and Rose about their parents' disappearance and that their parents had written the word "UNBELIEVEABLES" in the cave. Tommy wants to know if his parents are in heaven or hell. Zach and Rose take him to Purgatory, where they confirm that Tommy's parents aren't dead; they haven't gone to heaven or hell.

Upon returning to our world, Sterling shoots down a mysterious spy drone that was monitoring them all.

As a thank you, Tommy gives Rose and Zach his parents' bunker and asks them to accompany him to search for other Unbelievable beings in Washington... they're called the Rocketfellers!

This crossover continues to balance action with mystery, magic, and science fiction, while it begins to reveal that the existence of the Unbelievable beings is part of something bigger.

Art

It creates a balance between a naive yet somber style and rich detail, forging a powerful artistic contrast between the horror of hell and the blinding light of heaven.

Summary

Zach and Rose meet Tommy, who witnesses their spectacular powers, and there's a revelation about the whereabouts of Tommy's parents. Excellent second chapter of this crossover

¿De qué viene?

Entre nosotros están… ¡los Increíbles! Una nueva y audaz era comienza cuando Rose y Zach, ahora viviendo bajo el mismo techo, ponen a prueba la capacidad del Cielo y el Infierno para coexistir en la Tierra. Pero un nuevo personaje llega a Warwick: el Niño del Trillón de Dólares, quien tiene una peligrosa misión en la que solo Rose y Zach pueden ayudarlo. Mientras estos dos hijos del cielo y del infierno descubren que el dinero no lo compra todo, el Niño del Trillón de Dólares se da cuenta de que hay más gente increíble en el mundo de la que jamás imaginó.

Trama

The Trillion Dollar Kid es el que comienza a narrar esta entrega e introduce a personajes nuevos de este universo de los Unbelievables.

Esta entrega comienza justamente con Zach y Rose tratando de vivir una vida normal.

Zach visita a sus padres en la prisión, mientras ellos le piden que desentierre algo y que se lo lleve a su abogado para poder solucionar todo, claro está, ellos lo tratan muy mal.

Rose ayuda a sus padres en el comedor social, sin embargo ella sigue evitando asumir sus errores y hacer parecer que es perfecta, pero eso le trae problemas a todos, su naturaleza de engañadora la posee con frecuencia.

Las mascotas de ambos, Pepper el gato y Tucker el perro, revelan que son agentes de Sydney y que están vigilándolos desde niños. Pepper y Tucker llevan a Zach y Rose a la casa de Sydney donde esta la HIGHBORNE STONE, una especie de tetraedro que es un archivo de su pasado y les revela a ambos que ellos fueron traído a la Tierra para crear empatía y balance en su naturaleza, pero que si no lo hacen en un futuro van a luchar por el control del planeta.

The Trillion Dollar Kid los está rastreando gracias a los archivos secretos de sus padres, él necesita de los Unbelievable para poder recuperar a sus padres.

Así comienza este primer crossover del universo de personajes de FAMILY ODYSSEYS que va a sacudir todo, que se conecta con el comic The Rocketfellers y el venidero Trillion Dollar Kid.

What does it come from?

Among us are…the Unbelievables! A bold new era begins as Rose and Zach—now living under the same roof—really put to the test whether Heaven and Hell can coexist on Earth! But a new player arrives in Warwick—the Trillion Dollar Kid, who has a dangerous mission only Rose and Zach can help him with. As the two spawns of heaven and hell learn that money can’t buy everything, the Trillion Dollar Kid discovers there’s more unbelievable people in the world than he ever imagined.

Plot

The Trillion Dollar Kid is the one who begins narrating this installment and introduces new characters to this universe of the Unbelievables and the shows Zach and Rose trying to live a normal life.

Zach visits his parents in prison, where they ask him to dig something up and take it to their lawyer so they can sort everything out. Of course, they treat him very badly.

Rose helps her parents at the soup kitchen, but she continues to avoid taking responsibility for her mistakes and pretends to be perfect, which causes problems for everyone. Her deceitful nature often takes over.

Their pets, Pepper the cat and Tucker the dog, reveal that they are agents of Sydney and have been watching them since they were children. Pepper and Tucker take Zach and Rose to Sydney's house where the Highborne Stone is located, a kind of tetrahedron that serves as an archive of their past. It reveals to them that they were brought to Earth to create empathy and balance in their nature, but that if they don't, they will fight for control of the planet in the future.

The Trillion Dollar Kid is tracking them down using his parents' secret files. He needs the Unbelievable to get his parents back.

Thus begins this first crossover in the FAMILY ODYSSEYS universe, a crossover that's going to shake things up and connects with the comic The Rocketfellers and the upcoming Trillion Dollar Kid.

Art

It creates a balance between a naive style with somber touches and rich details, forging a powerful artistic contrast between the horror of Hell and the blinding light of Heaven.

Summary

Zach and Rose finally understand their origins and what they mean for the balance between Heaven and Hell

Sinopsis

¿Que haya… guerra? Ahora conscientes de su papel en un acuerdo de paz entre el Cielo y el Infierno, los adolescentes Rose Hornsby y Zachary Halo deben lidiar con un pacto que envió al heredero infantil del Infierno a un hogar amoroso y protector… y al heredero infantil del Cielo a un hogar de profundo cinismo y corrupción. Todo orquestado con la promesa de que cada niño desarrollaría una comprensión más matizada de la coexistencia con antiguos enemigos. Solo hay un problema: los chicos no quieren saber nada del asunto. Ah, y otro problema: un ángel renegado y un demonio hacen un pacto de sangre para desbaratar la paz tan duramente conseguida y reavivar las llamas de la guerra. Con Rose y Zach acorralados, deben tomar una decisión crucial: aceptar su destino… o destruir el orden cósmico del universo. Incluye HORNSBY & HALO #7-13.

Trama

Adjudicator/Sydney se convierte en varios profesores para intentar convencer a Zach y Rose de que deben aceptar sus poderes, pero ambos están negados y llenos de ira porque no desean este cambio en sus vidas, es una analogía interesante de lo que es la entrad a la pubertad. 

Zach empieza a tener pensamientos más altruistas y Rose solo quiere ser altruista mientras la ven otros.

Domino y Beezle atacan a Adjudicator y lo envían a un lugar lejano, ellos están listos para desatar la guerra entre los reinos.

En una feria del pueblo los agentes del cielo e infierno ponen a prueba a Zach y Rose, cuando deben usar sus poderes para evitar un accidente con fuegos artificiales que pueden hacer daños cientos de personas. Ambos trabajan en equipo y empiezan a respetarse mutuamente pero son grabados por dos periodistas.

Los padres de Zach y Rose son arrestados por una trampa de Domino y Beezle.

Zach y Rose rescatan a sus padres, los Halo son absueltos de la trampa, mientras los Hornsby se quedan presos. Zach era invitado a la casa de Rose a vivir mientras sus padre son absueltos, ambos ahora viven en la misma casa y están dispuestos a trabajar en equipo. Revelan que las mascotas de ambos son protectores que están pendientes de sus acciones como Sydney.

Esta saga refuerza la historia de adolescentes que tratan de superar sus cambios físicos mientras el balance entre en bien y el mal depende de ellos, sin embargo no hay una evolución en los personajes, solo eventos que hacen que sus poderes afloren cada vez más controlados.

Synopsis

Let there be…war? Now aware of their role in a peace agreement between Heaven and Hell, teenagers Rose Hornsby and Zachary Halo must deal with a pact that sent Hell’s infant heir to a loving and nurturing home…and Heaven’s infant heir to a home of deep cynicism and corruption. All engineered with the promise that each child develop a more nuanced insight into coexisting with ancient enemies. Only one problem: the kids want nothing to do with it. Oh, and one more problem: a rogue angel and demon make a blood pact to unravel the hard-fought peace and rekindle the flames of war. With Rose and Zach’s backs to the corner, they must make a fateful choice: embrace their destiny…or destroy the cosmic order of the universe. Collects HORNSBY & HALO #7-13.

Plot

Adjudicator/Sydney transforms into various teachers to try and convince Zach and Rose to accept their powers, but both are resistant and filled with anger because they don't want this change in their lives. It's an interesting analogy for the onset of puberty.

Zach begins to have more altruistic thoughts, while Rose only wants to be altruistic when others are watching.

Domino and Beezle attack Adjudicator and send him to a distant location. They are ready to unleash war between the realms.

At a town fair, agents from Heaven and Hell test Zach and Rose when they must use their powers to prevent a fireworks accident that could harm hundreds of people. They work as a team and begin to respect each other, but are filmed by two journalists.

Zach and Rose's parents are arrested in a trap set by Domino and Beezle.

Zach and Rose rescue their parents, the Halos are acquitted of the trap, while the Hornsbys remain imprisoned. Zach is invited to live at Rose's house while his parents are exonerated; now they both live in the same house and are willing to work as a team. They reveal that their pets are protective beings, like Sydney, who keep a watchful eye on their actions.

This saga reinforces the story of teenagers trying to overcome their physical changes while the balance between good and evil depends on them. However, there is no character development, only events that cause their powers to surface, each time in a more controlled state.

Art

It creates a balance between a naive yet somber style and rich detail, resulting in a powerful artistic contrast between the horror of hell and the blinding light of heaven.

This particular issue features three spectacular double-page splash pages, offering a refreshing narrative dynamism.

Summary

Rose and Zachary begin to forge an alliance and work as a team while a group tries to elementalize them and create chaos.
