De día, Cindy Moon es una intrépida reportera del advenedizo imperio de nuevos medios Threats & Menaces bajo su antiguo jefe, J. Jonah Jameson. ¡De noche, ella es Silk, superhéroe que lucha contra el crimen! ¡Pero esos mundos están a punto de chocar, ya que una investigación sobre una serie de asesinatos de pandillas pone a Silk y a todos los que ama en peligro! Trama
Cindy sigue investigando esta guerra entre bandas criminales mientras sigue con su trabajo en Threats & Menaces que le permite tener acceso a información de las calles.
Lucha contra un gato gigante (vinculado a la mitología Japonesa) que posee el mismo dispositivo auditivo que los que atacaron a J J Jameson, que usa la tecnología de Fujinet que tiene como nueva gerente a la hija del fundador, Saya Ishii, ella desea desaparecer esta guerra por una razón misteriosa.
Pero todo se complica cuando Cindy visita a su psicólogo y se encuentra con un suplente, a quien no le revela nada de su doble identidad...pero este suplente es hermano de Saya, quien sabe que Cindy es Silk.
Este cómic baja un poco el ritmo de acción para ampliar la trama misteriosa.

What does it come from?
By day Cindy Moon is an intrepid reporter for the upstart new media empire Threats & Menaces under her old boss, J. Jonah Jameson. By night, she's Silk, crime fighting super hero! But those worlds are about to collide, as an investigation into a series of gangland murders puts Silk and everyone she loves in danger! Who is this powerful new player in New York's underworld, where did she come from, and what is she doing with that strange cat demon? It will take all of Cindy's prowess as reporter and hero to find the answers...and stay alive! Written by Maurene Goo (I Believe in a Thing Called Love) and drawn by Takeshi Miyazawa (RUNAWAYS, GHOST SPIDER), Cindy is on assignment, and nothing can stop her!
Plot
Cindy continues to investigate this war between criminal gangs while she continues her work at Threats & Menaces that allows her access to information from the streets.
She fights against a giant cat (linked to Japanese mythology) that has the same hearing device as those who attacked JJ Jameson, who uses Fujinet technology that has as its new manager the daughter of the founder, Saya Ishii, she wants to disappear this war for a mysterious reason.
But everything gets complicated when Cindy visits her psychologist and meets a substitute, to whom she does not reveal anything about her double identity ... but this substitute is Saya's brother, who knows that Cindy is Silk.
This comic slows the action down a bit to expand on the mysterious plot.
Art
TAKESHI MIYAZAWA plays with angles and helps this new heroine shine with her own splendor.
