¿De qué viene?
¡COMIENZA LA LEYENDA! Los mitos nórdicos hablan de dioses que caminaron por la Tierra, realizando grandes hazañas para los mortales que creían en ellos. Pero Asgard no es real, y nunca lo fue. Los dioses nunca surcaron nuestros cielos, nunca apoyaron a nuestros héroes, nunca lucharon por la bondad ni la justicia. Todo era solo una historia. Nadie vendrá a ayudarnos. Pero en algún lugar de la ciudad... un hombre está despertando. Un hombre con un martillo.
Trama
La nueva etapa de Thor comienza aquí.
Sigurd Jurlson despierta en un apartamento de Nueva York, con un martillo en un bolso, recuerda muy poco, piensa que tiene amnesia por una pelea y habla Noruego. La vecina Kristen lo saluda y le pide que tenga cuidado porque pare ser una buena persona muy inocente.
Al salir de su edificio se consigue con un viejo amigo llamado Lucky, quién está vigilando sus pasos.
Sigurd va a buscar trabajo en una construcción de Roxxon y Merle, el gerente de la obra es déspota y le promete que serán explotados, Sigurd se va molesto por la injusticia y muchos le siguen. Merle le ordena a sus obreros que le den una paliza.
En plena tormenta estos obreros que tienen tatuajes nordicos y empiezan a decir que Sigurd sera el sacrificio que le haran a su dios Thor, Sigurd saca un martillo de su bolso y les da una paliza sumamente violenta y alucinante, advirtiendo que la ira de Thor esta por llegar.
Genial reimaginación del mito de Thor, ubicándolo como un héroe de la calle.
Arte
Presenta su arte con un tono onírico hermoso, lleno de colores que destacan las expresiones faciales y sentimientos de sus personajes.

What does it come from?
THE LEGEND BEGINS! The Norse Myths tell of Gods who walked the Earth, doing great deeds for the mortals who believed in them. But Asgard isn't real, and never was. The Gods never soared in our skies, never stood with our heroes, never fought for kindness or justice. It was all just a story. Nobody's coming to help us. But somewhere in the city... a man is waking up. A man with a hammer.
Plot
The new phase of Thor begins here.
Sigurd Jurlson wakes up in a New York apartment with a hammer in his bag. He remembers very little, thinks he has amnesia from a fight, and speaks Norwegian. Neighbor Kristen greets him and asks him to be careful because he seems like a good, innocent person.
As he leaves his building, he runs into an old friend named Lucky, who is watching his every move.
Sigurd goes to look for work at a Roxxon and Merle construction site. The despotic manager promises that they will be exploited. Sigurd leaves, angered by the injustice, and many follow him. Merle orders his workers to beat him up.
In the middle of a storm, these workers, who have Norse tattoos and begin to say that Sigurd will be the sacrifice they will make to their god Thor, Sigurd takes a hammer from his bag and gives them an extremely violent and hallucinatory beating, warning that Thor's wrath is imminent.
A brilliant reimagining of the Thor mythos, placing him as a street-level hero.
Art
The art is presented with a beautiful dreamlike tone, filled with colors that highlight the facial expressions and emotions of its characters.
Summary
The Thor mythos is once again reimagined as an urban hero in search of his identity.
