El Avispón Verde es un superhéroe creado por George W. Trendle y Fran Striker, para un programa de radio en los Estados Unidos en la década de 1930, que posteriormente salto a otros medios incluyendo cine, televisión (serie de 1967) y comics. Britt Reid es el dueño del periódico "Daily Sentinel" donde tiene acceso a información importante que le permite conocer el mundo criminal y atacarlos como el Green Hornet acompañado de su guardaespaldas Kato (que fue interpretado por Bruce Lee en la serie de TV). Reid se ha encargado de que la imagen del Avispón Verde sea de un enemigo de la sociedad, lo que le permite infiltrarse  con mayor facilidad en las organizaciones criminales.

¡Del escritor Scott Lobdell (Flash, Uncanny X-Men) y el artista Anthony Marques (Vampirella, Red Sonja) regresa del Avispón Verde!.

The Green Hornet y Kato se han encontrado con una buena cantidad de villanos a lo largo de los años, pero cuando un bebé alienígena se estrella en la Tierra, los dos héroes deben mantenerlo a salvo de un nuevo tipo de némesis. 

Esta es una nueva serie que comienza con un nuevo arco argumental.

Este comic es en blanco, negro y verde.

¿Qué sucede?

El cómic comienza con el Avispón Verde y Kato salvando a un bebé del ejército de EE.UU, luego retroceden 24 horas para explicar cómo llegaron a ese momento.

La asistente de Britt, Leonore Case, le comenta que la periodista de investigación científica, Candice Carbajal del Daily Sentinel desapareció misteriosamente justamente cuando iba a entrevistar a un agente del gobierno en Kansas sobre un asteroide que se estrelló en la tierra.

Britt y Kato se dirigen al hotel donde se hospedaba Candice para llevarse una sorpresa de otro mundo.

Arte y Trama

Lobdell regresa a los comics luego de un breve descanso con esta nueva e interesante serie, que introduce elementos de ciencia ficción en la rutina del Avispon Verde. El arte de Marques es asombroso, posiblemente uno de los mejores de su carrera, donde maneja con éxito escenas de acción y usa con éxito la coloración, ya que el cómic es en blanco, negro y verde.

Resumen

Esta nueva serie comienza por todo lo alto, con acción y ciencia ficción, donde el Britt y Kato se enfrentarán a enemigos inesperados.

The Green Hornet is a superhero created by George W. Trendle and Fran Striker, for a radio show in the United States in the 1930s, which subsequently leaped to other media including film, television (1967 series), and comics. Britt Reid is the owner of the newspaper "Daily Sentinel" where he has access to important information that allows him to know the criminal world and attack them as the Green Hornet accompanied by his bodyguard Kato (who was played by Bruce Lee in the TV series). Reid has ensured that the image of the Green Hornet is an enemy of society, allowing him to more easily infiltrate in criminal organizations.

What does it come from?

From writer Scott Lobdell (Flash, Uncanny X-Men) and artist Anthony Marques (Vampirella, Red Sonja) comes the return of the Green Hornet! The Green Hornet and Kato have met their fair share of villains over the years, but when an alien infant crashes to Earth, the two heroes must keep him safe from a whole new type of nemesis. Are they prepared to take on a series of dark and deadly enemies willing to stop at nothing and do whatever it takes to save the child?

This is a new series with a new arc.

This comic is in black, white and green.

What's going on?

The comic begins with the Green Hornet and Kato saving a baby from the US Army, then they go back 24 hours to explain how they got there.

Britt's assistant Leonore Case, tells him that the scientific investigative journalist Candice Carbajal, of the Daily Sentinel, mysteriously disappeared just as she was going to interview a government agent in Kansas about an asteroid that crashed into the ground.

Britt and Kato head to the hotel where Candice was staying to get a surprise from another world.

Art and Plot

Lobdell returns to the comics after a short break with this exciting new series, which introduces science fiction elements into the routine of the Green Hornet. Marques' art is astonishing, arguably one of the best in her career, where she successfully handles action scenes and successfully uses coloration, as the comic is in black, white, and green.

Summary

This new series begins in style, with action and science fiction, where Britt and Kato will face unexpected enemies.
