En THE DEATH OF NANCY DREW #1 Joe Hardy (ha estado toda la vida enamorado de Nancy Drew) está obsesionado por descubrir qué pasó con el asesinato de Nancy, descubre que ella se hizo pasar por muerta para que el Sindicato no asesinen a su padre.

Nancy había llevado a la cárcel al grupo criminales el Sindicato y estaba segura que no había atrapado a todos sus integrantes, ahora sigue la investigación de manera clandestina.

¿Qué sucede?

Nancy y Frank están detrás de esta investigación, mientras Joe está molesto por todo este engaño. Nancy usó el cadáver de Jeannie y decir que era el cuerpo de Nancy, ya que ambas estaban dentro del vehículo que fue embestido y lanzado al río.

Nancy le preocupa la relación amistosa de su papá, Carson con la esposa del jefe del Sindicato, Maryanne Bobbsey. Maryanne es la esposa de Robert, quien está en la cárcel por Nancy.

Joe, Nancy y Frank tienen la pista de el Barbero, que los llevara la Sindicato, pero una investigación clandestina puede ser muy peligrosa.

Anthony Del Col y  Joe Eisma otorgan un tono más oscuro y adulto a este universo de personajes, adecuado para todos esos lectores que han crecido con estos libros de Edward Stratemeyer.

Resumen

Nancy Drew sacrifica todo por cuidar a su familia y allegados, por lo que fingir su muerte es la única salida para poder seguir la investigación del Sindicato.

This famous teenager and detective with a saga of books, series and movies created by Edward Stratemeyer dies mysteriously and Joe Hardy of the teenage detectives Hardy Boys (also created by Stratemeyer) is convinced that it was a murder.

What does it come from?

In THE DEATH OF NANCY DREW # 1 Joe Hardy (he has been in love with Nancy Drew all his life), is obsessed with finding out what happened to Nancy's murder, he discovers that she posed as dead for that the Syndicate does not murder her father.

Nancy had taken the criminal group Syndicate to jail and she was sure that she had not caught all its members, now the investigation is being carried out clandestinely.

What's going on?

Nancy and Frank are behind this investigation, while Joe is upset by all this fake death scam, which consisted of using Jeannie's body and saying that it was Nancy's body, since they were both inside the vehicle that was rammed and thrown into the river.

Nancy is concerned about her dad, Carson has a friendly relationship with the union chief's wife, Maryanne Bobbsey. Maryanne is the wife of Robert, who is in prison for Nancy.

Joe, Nancy and Frank are on the trail of the Barber, the latest clue to find the Syndicate, but a clandestine investigation can be very dangerous.

Anthony Del Col and Joe Eisma presents a darker and more adult tone to this universe of characters, suitable for all those readers who have grown up with these Edward Stratemeyer books.

Summary

Nancy Drew sacrifices everything to care for her family and friends, so faking her death is the only way to continue the investigation of the Syndicate
