¿De qué viene?

¡La serie de cómics ocho veces ganadora del premio Eisner, que combina fantasía y humor, regresa en una aventura histórica que mezcla lo oculto japonés y occidental!

Un miembro mayor de la manada de Wise Dogs que lucha contra el ocultismo recuerda una misión desgarradora: en el Japón ocupado por Estados Unidos después de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, una misteriosa maldición crea un ejército de cabezas sin cuerpo que se arrastran y amenazan con abrumar la región. Emrys y un equipo de compañeros caninos intentan resolver el misterio, poniéndolos en conflicto con tanuki que cambian de forma, oni malvados y una horda de demonios vengativos.

Trama

Emry y Mullins luchan con estas cabezas con tentáculos que se desprenden de las personas Emry usa un encantamiento para librarse.

Emry sigue el rastro que le lleva a un bosque raro, donde aparecen duplicados de ellos, animales con múltiples colas, ranas humanas, etc. todos les dicen que deben irse de este lugar en especial una mujer que devora los brazos de muertos.

Pero al final se enfrentan a una horda de perros peligrosa y desconocen si la manera de transmitir la enfermedad de las cabezas con tentáculos es por medio de la magia o por una infección. 

Este cómic se adentra en la fantasía, terror y algo de realismo mágico.

What does it come from?

The eight-time Eisner Award- winning comic book series blending fantasy and humor returns in a historical adventure blending Japanese and Western occult!

An elder member of the occult-battling pack of Wise Dogs recalls a harrowing mission-in U.S-occupied Japan after World War II, a mysterious curse creates an army of crawling, disembodied heads which threatens to overwhelm the region. Emrys and a team of canine companions attempt to solve the mystery, bringing them into conflict with shape-changing tanuki, evil oni, and a horde of vengeful demons.

Plot

Emry and Mullins fight with these tentacled heads that detach from people. Emry uses an enchantment to free themselves.

Emry follows the trail that leads him to a rare forest, where duplicates of them appear, animals with multiple tails, human frogs, etc. all tell them that they should leave this place, especially a woman who devours the arms of the dead.

But in the end they are faced with a dangerous horde of dogs and they don't know if the way to transmit the disease of the tentacled heads is through magic or infection.

This comic delves into fantasy, horror, and some magical realism.
