¿De qué viene?

¡El aclamado escritor J. Michael Straczynski regresa al mundo profético y ambicioso de The Resistance! A raíz del asesinato de su líder, la Resistencia está en desorden, desconectada entre sí y perseguida por autoridades de todo el mundo, incluido un ejército de "renacidos" reclutados por el gobierno estadounidense. Trama

A la par surge un movimiento anti renacidos, con métodos extremistas, se llaman los Spartans y ya contactaron a los líderes de la Resistencia.

Esta nueva entrega sigue introduciendo a nuevos personajes mientras se complica la situación política económica en el planeta.

What does it come from?

Acclaimed writer J. Michael Straczynski returns the prescient, ambitious world of The Resistance! In the wake of the assassination of their leader, the Resistance is in disarray, disconnected from each other and hunted by authorities around the world – including an army of “reborns” recruited by the American government. To avert decimation at the hands of a fascistic government crackdown, the Resistance must discover the ace up their sleeve, and then the key to unlocking it.

This is the sequel to The Resistance (J. Michael Straczynski y Mike Deodato Jr.)  which tells the story of survivors of a deadly pandemic, where those who overcome the disease awaken with super powers. Volume 1 predicted circumstances similar to Covid19, this volume 2 predicts events of tyrannical governments that occurred in 2021.

Plot

This installment shows how government entities intend to use a psychopath who used his powers to end his school, instead of making a shootout he exploded with his new power. William is a reborn who will now be an agent specialized in hunting other reborns.

At the same time an anti-reborn movement arises, with extremist methods, they are called the Spartans and they have already contacted the leaders of the Resistance.

This new installment continues to introduce new characters while the economic political situation on the planet is complicated.
