KEVIN SMITH REGRESA A “CHASING AMY”, “MALLRATS” Y MÁS EN “QUICK STOPS VOLUMEN 3”

 

Este agosto, el reconocido director, podcaster, productor, actor y escritor Kevin Smith (The 4:30 Movie, Mallrats) regresa al Askewniverse con la tercera entrega de su serie antológica de cómics en blanco y negro, Quick Stops. Cada número será escrito por Smith y contará con artistas diferentes. El primer número estará ilustrado por John Sprengelmeyer (Maskerade, Captain Ribman), el segundo por Ryan Gajda, el tercero por Mark Reihill (Quick Stops, Off Girl) y el cuarto por Ahmed Rafaat (Who Are the Power Pals?, Quick Stops), con letras de Andrew Thomas (Maskerade, Mosely) en los números 2-4. El número 1 también contará con dos portadas de Sprengelmeyer (una exclusiva de Secret Stash) y otra de Kate Bettini.

En el Volumen 3 de Quick Stops, por fin tenemos la oportunidad de leer el cómic que Holden McNeil creó sobre el amor y la pérdida de Alyssa Jones, como se ve en la película Chasing Amy. Kevin Smith rinde homenaje a su amiga y coprotagonista Shannen Doherty con dos historias: una sobre el impecable sentido del humor de Shannen y la otra, un réquiem por su personaje en Mallrats, Rene. Presenciamos un conmovedor reencuentro entre Jay y Bob el Silencioso y su viejo amigo del Dogma, Metatrón: Heraldo del Todopoderoso, Voz del único Dios verdadero y fuente de sabiduría divina. Y por último, pero no menos importante, seguimos a las hermanas Jones y descubrimos la historia completa de cómo Alyssa Jones obtuvo el apodo de "Esposas".

MILWAUKIE, Ore., (April 24, 2025)— This August, renowned director, podcaster, producer, actor, and writer Kevin Smith (The 4:30 Movie, Mallrats) returns to the View Askewniverse with the third installment in his black-and-white anthology comic series, Quick Stops. Each issue will be written by Smith and will feature different artists.
