This March, AVENGERS #36 marks the end of Jed MacKay’s acclaimed run on the title.

 

New York, NY— December 23, 2025 — Superstar writer Jed MacKay closes out his time with Earth’s Mightiest Heroes this March in AVENGERS #36. Three years of dark mysteries, epic quests and cosmos-shattering battles comes to a head in a giant-sized, can’t-miss final issue, featuring artwork by current series artist Farid Karami. ¿De qué viene?

Trama

Emocionante primera parte de este crossover de títulos de X-men, donde los mutantes se enfrentan contra su principal detractora Corina Ellis.

What does it come from?

"RAID ON GRAYMALKIN" PART ONE! With one of their own incarcerated, the X-Men move on Graymalkin Prison in order to free their teammate. But it's not just one team - in Alaska, Cyclops' X-Men scramble a rescue mission, while in Louisiana, Rogue's X-Men move to strike out on their own sortie. Doctrinal rivals each with their own objective, will these two fractious teams find themselves at cross-purposes? After all...an "X" is made by two lines crossing.

Plot

Beast is kidnapped by Corina Ellis who takes them to the old Xavier Mansion, converted into the Graymalkin prison. There Beast meets Jubilee and Calico, who are verbally attacked and Beast intervenes, the response is an excessive attack on Beast by the guards.

Cyclops, enraged, launches an attack on the prison with Magik, Juggernaut, Quentin, Psylocke and Temper, where the objective is not to kill anyone but to neutralize them and make them suffer. Just when Blob attacks them, Rogue arrives with the Uncanny X-men division from Louisiana.

Exciting first part of this crossover of X-men titles, where the mutants face off against their main detractor, Corina Ellis.

Art

It is magnificent, organic and with Stegman's imprint everywhere, offering a classic and modern tone at the same time.

Summary

The X-Men have no tolerance for their main enemy, who committed the sacrilege of turning the place where Xavier's dream began into a prison.

La niña Piper Cobb es analizada por Bestia para saber si ella es una mutante y fue la razon por la cual el Sentinel la ataca, el detalle es que ella tiene una mutación rara.

Este cómic muestra un momento clave antes de que los X-men se instalaran en Alaska.

El cómic tiene un prólogo donde Bestia es secuestrado, dejando todo listo al crossover de los títulos de X-men llamado RAID ON GRAYMALKIN

What does it come from?

The Iron Night! What does the town of Merle, Alaska owe the X-Men? Where did the defunct Sentinel looming over the town come from? And more importantly, what was it after?

Plot

This comic tells the mysterious IRON NIGHT, which is when Magneto and Cyclops faced a Sentinel that attacked the town without explanation. At this very moment Magneto lost control of his powers and Cyclops had to make him lose consciousness. Magneto also develops a disease that degrades his movement. Magneto blames all the resurrections he experienced in Krakoa, and leaves the question of whether all the mutants who revived experience this same genetic degradation and stop controlling their powers.

The girl Piper Cobb is analyzed by Beast to find out if she is a mutant and was the reason why the Sentinel attacks her, the detail is that she has a rare mutation.

This comic shows a key moment before the X-men settled in Alaska.

The comic has a prologue where Beast is kidnapped, setting up the X-Men crossover called RAID ON GRAYMALKIN

It is very detailed, using lots of shadows and textures to achieve a great narrative dynamism. The details offer a great dynamism.

Mientras los X-Men intentan desentrañar la conspiración que se extiende por todo el mundo y que se ha organizado contra ellos, Temper y Magik trabajan para investigar una más cercana. Merle, Alaska, esconde más secretos que los que se guardan en la Fábrica, y los dos mutantes deben abandonar la seguridad de su cuartel general y salir a las calles en busca de respuestas.

Trama

Hank McCoy explica a todo el equipo en la Fábrica en Alaska, que Cassandra Nova está detrás de la activación de manera artificial de genes mutantes en adultos y que Ben y Jennifer son el ejemplo. Cassandra forma parte de la organización 3K.

Scott le da la bienvenida sa anabos mutantes y le ofrece techo en la fábrica mientras entienden el origen de sus poderes.

Por otro lado TEMPER ve en un grupo de manifestantes a una niña que le hace una seña, por lo que Temper y Magik van a en su búsqueda en el pueblo. La niña se llama Piper y les confiesa que ella es mutante y fue la responsable de la "iron nights", que fue la noche que el Sentinel que está congelado y como derretido al lado del pueblo fue por obra de sus poderes, ella lo atacó porque la perseguía.

Este cómic llega lleno con una impactante revelación que amplia más la investigación de los X-men sobre la aparición de nuevos mutantes.

What does it come from?

While the X-Men attempt to unravel the globe-spanning conspiracy arrayed against them, Temper and Magik work to investigate one closer to home. Merle, Alaska, holds more secrets than just the ones kept within the Factory, and the two mutants must leave the safety of their headquarters and hit the streets for answers

Plot

Hank McCoy explains to the entire team at the Factory in Alaska that Cassandra Nova is behind the artificial activation of mutant genes in adults and that Ben and Jennifer are the example. Cassandra is part of the 3K organization.

Scott welcomes her as a mutant and offers her shelter in the factory while they understand the origin of her powers.

On the other hand, TEMPER sees a girl in a group of protesters who signals to him, so Temper and Magik go in search of her in the town. The girl is called Piper and confesses to them that she is a mutant and was responsible for the "iron nights", which was the night that the Sentinel that is frozen and melted next to the town was due to her powers, she attacked him because he was chasing her.

This comic comes packed with a shocking revelation that further expands the X-men's investigation into the appearance of new mutants.

It is very detailed, using many shadows and textures achieves a great narrative dynamism.

This issue reveals that Psylocke is Greycrow's lover, she arrives late to the Factory (the new base of the X-men in Alaska) to with the help of Quentin Quire enter Ben Liu's mind and bring him out of the coma, also finding out how his mutant gene was activated.

In Ben's mind, they see how he is kidnapped from his daily routine to be turned into a powerful mutant with special machinery in a ship in the sky, Quentin and Psylocke are attacked by who is behind this...CASSANDRA NOVA, this organization is called 3K!

This comic continues to increase the suspense and mystery with powerful revelations that discover who is behind the mutants on the planet.

Fitzroy tiene el poder de hacer portales y escapa para revelar que está trabajando con SUGARMAN.

Magik está jugando ajedrez con Coloso, que trabaja ahora en el otro bando.

Este cómic sigue aumentando el suspenso y el misterio con revelaciones puntuales, sin embargo este cómic no adelanta mucho en la narrativa.

CYCLOPS sends MAGIK, JUGGERNAUT, TEMPER and BEAST to stop Trevor Fitzroy, who records videos killing and attacking mutants and uploads them to his social networks, the X-men save the mutant they were going to hurt who continues to increase the squad.

Fitzroy has the power to make portals and escapes to reveal that he is working with SUGARMAN.

Magik is playing chess with Colossus, who is now working on the other side.

This comic continues to increase the suspense and mystery with specific revelations, however this comic does not advance much in the narrative.

¿De qué viene?

SCOTT SUMMERS VS EE.UU. ¿Cómo llegaron los X-Men a poseer su cuartel general, la Fábrica, y en qué difícil situación los pone eso? Cuando Cyclops conoce al implacable agente Lundqvist, los X-Men descubren que su nuevo hogar puede no ser tan seguro como habían pensado...

Trama

CYCLOPS recibe la visita del Agente gubernamental Lundqvist, quien le exige a Cyclops que si le habían dado la fábrica de Sentinels, el supuestamente no debería salir de ese espacio. Aquí Scott revela que la fábrica se la entregaron como parte del arreglo de la demanda que le ganó Cyclops al Gobierno de EE.UU. Cyclops declina la orden de Lundqvist, porque él va a seguir investigando sobre nuevos mutantes cuyos poderes están floreciendo con mucha potencia.

Pero el Agente Lundqvist en realidad estaba reunido con Cyclops para distraerlo y poder enviar un equipo de soldados liderados por Vanisher, para investigar lo que hay en la Fábrica. Esto hace que  TEMPER, PSYLOCKE, KID OMEGA, MAGIK y JUGGERNAUT se enfrenten a este equipo de asalto, a quienes vencen con facilidad.

Este cómic termina con los X-men neutralizando el equipo de asalto de   Lundqvist y con Cyclops teniendo como una especie de ataque de pánico que esconde al ir al baño.

Este cómic sigue aumentando el suspenso y el misterio con revelaciones puntuales.

 

Arte

Es magnífico, orgánico y con la impronta de Stegman en todas partes, ofreciendo un tono clásico y moderno al mismo tiempo.

What does it come from?

SCOTT SUMMERS VS. THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA! How did the X-Men come to possess their HQ, the Factory, and how difficult a position does that put them in? As Cyclops meets the implacable Agent Lundqvist, the X-Men come to find that their new home may not be as secure as they had thought...

Plot

CYCLOPS is visited by Government Agent Lundqvist, who demands that Cyclops be given the Sentinel factory, then he should not leave the space. Here Scott reveals that the factory was given to him as part of the settlement of the lawsuit Cyclops won against the US Government. Cyclops declines Lundqvist's order, because he is going to continue researching new mutants whose powers are flourishing with great potency.

But Agent Lundqvist was actually meeting with Cyclops to distract him so he could send a team of soldiers led by Vanisher to investigate what is in the Factory. This causes TEMPER, PSYLOCKE, KID OMEGA, MAGIK and JUGGERNAUT to confront this assault team, whom they easily defeat.

This comic ends with the X-men neutralizing Lundqvist's assault team and with Cyclops having a kind of panic attack that he hides by going to the bathroom.

This comic continues to build suspense and mystery with timely revelations.

Art

It's gorgeous, organic, and Stegman-inspired throughout, offering a classic yet modern tone.

Summary

Cyclops makes his plans clear to the U.S. government.
