¡UN HÉROE ICÓNICO DEL SPIDER-VERSE ESTRENA UNA NUEVA IMAGEN EN SPIDER-VERSE VS. VENOMVERSE!

Ayer, CBR reveló un nuevo traje para el mismísimo Spider-Man japonés: ¡Takuya Yamashiro! Diseñado por el artista superestrella Luciano Vecchio, el traje debutará en SPIDER-VERSE VS. VENOMVERSE #3 este julio, donde esta querida versión de Spidey se une a la guerra multiversal entre arañas y simbiontes.

"En la historia, se presenta un nuevo traje para Takuya, que lo distingue visualmente de Peter", declaró Vecchio a CBR. Revisé episodios y clips de la serie japonesa de Spider-Man para conectar con la sensibilidad y el lenguaje corporal dramático de ese universo, y también consulté otras series de principios de los 80 del género Tokusatsu en busca de claves estéticas como la bufanda y las lentes negras. Intercambié ideas y referencias con el guionista Mat Groom antes de dar con esta imagen, que podría abreviarse como una fusión entre Spider-Man y Super Sentai.

CBR también compartió un primer vistazo al número debut de SPIDER-VERSE VS. VENOMVERSE. Con lanzamiento el 14 de mayo, la serie limitada de cinco números de Vecchio y los guionistas Kyle Higgins y Mat Groom se deriva del reciente one-shot WEB OF SPIDER-VERSE: NEW BLOOD y del one-shot WEB OF VENOMVERSE: FRESH BRAINS del próximo mes. AN ICONIC SPIDER-VERSE HERO DEBUTS A NEW LOOK IN SPIDER-VERSE VS. VENOMVERSE!

Check out a new design for SPIDER-MAN (Takuya Yamashiro) debuting in Kyle Higgins, Mat Groom and Luciano Vecchio’s SPIDER-VERSE VS. VENOMVERSE series, launching this May!

 

New York, NY— March 28, 2025 — Yesterday, CBR revealed a new costume for Japan’s very own Spider-Man—Takuya Yamashiro! Designed by superstar artist Luciano Vecchio, the costume will debut in SPIDER-VERSE VS. VENOMVERSE #3 this July where this beloved version of Spidey joins the multiversal war between Spiders and Symbiotes!

 

"In the story, a new costume for Takuya is introduced, and it helps setting him visually apart from Peter," Vecchio told CBR. "I rewatched episodes and clips of the Japanese Spider-Man show to tap into that universe’s sensitivity and dramatic body language, and also referred to other early ‘80s shows in the Tokusatsu genre for aesthetic cues like the scarf and black lenses. I bounced ideas and references with writer Mat Groom before landing on this visual that can be shortened to Spider-Man meets Super Sentai."

 

CBR also shared a first look at the debut issue of SPIDER-VERSE VS. VENOMVERSE. Launching on May 14, the five-issue limited series by Vecchio and writers Kyle Higgins and Mat Groom spins out of the recent WEB OF SPIDER-VERSE: NEW BLOOD one-shot and next month’s WEB OF VENOMVERSE: FRESH BRAINS one-shot. Both introduced major new players on both sides and now, the arachnid war is here! With the fates of the SPIDER-VERSE and VENOMVERSE hanging in the balance, these eight-legged warriors will stop at nothing from protecting their people – or die trying! ¿De qué viene?

La Champions intentó pelear limpio. Ahora es el momento de luchar sucio. Pero la aplicación tremendamente popular de la compañía ya está cambiando la percepción pública contra los superhéroes adolescentes. ¿Pueden los campeones librar la guerra contra una tendencia? ¿Y qué tan sucias se pondrán sus manos antes de que termine? Danny Lore (CAPITÁN AMÉRICA: KING IN BLACK, IRONHEART 2020) y Luciano Vecchio (IRONHEART) toman las riendas de una nueva y atrevida era de Champions.

Trama

El cómic comienza con este equipo de jóvenes super heroes Ms Marvel, Spider-man, Vivi Vision, Iron Heart y Nova deteniendo un atraco a un banco. Ellos son super héroes clandestinos porque la Ley de Kamala prohíbe a menores de edad ser super héroes.

Pero Chanpions descubren que su proeza en realidad no sirvió de nada ya que la información suministrada no era oficial y Iron Heart estalla porque siente que pierden su tiempo.

Pero el riesgo mayor viene departe de la corporación Roxxon que acaba de crear una app que supuestamente servirá de apoyo emocional en el público joven, pero en realidad va a manejar las tendencias.

Este comic ubica a este equipo en un lugar de desespero y frustración ante un nuevo enemigo que esta en todas partes y se maneja por la histeria colectiva, las redes sociales.

Arte 

El arte es interesante y épico, lleno de buenas secuencias y páginas splash.

Resumen

Este equipo se enfrenta a un enemigo letal que está en todas partes. Este nuevo arco argumental es un buen punto de partida para leer esta interesante serie.

Where does it come from?

The Champions tried fighting fair. Now it's time to fight dirty. But the company's wildly popular app is already turning public perception against teen super heroes. Can the Champions wage war on a trend? And how dirty will their hands get before it's over? Plot

The comic begins with this team of young superheroes Ms Marvel, Spider-man, Viv Vision, Iron Heart and Nova stopping a bank robbery. They are underground superheroes because the Kamala Law prohibits minors from being superheroes.

But Chanpions discover that his feat was actually useless as the information supplied was unofficial and Iron Heart explodes because he feels like they are wasting their time.

But the biggest risk comes from the Roxxon corporation that has just created an app that is supposed to serve as emotional support in young audiences, but is actually going to drive trends towards their interests.

This comic places this team in a place of despair and frustration before a new enemy that is everywhere and is driven by mass hysteria, social media app.

Art

The art is interesting and epic, full of good sequences and splash pages.

Summary

This team faces a deadly enemy that is everywhere. This new story arc is a good starting point for reading this interesting series.

La serie en curso de The Champions continúa en abril con un nuevo equipo creativo estelar y una nueva amenaza asesina. Tomando el relevo del aclamado equipo creativo de Eve L.Ewing, Simon Di Meo y Bob Quinn, el escritor Danny Lore (Ironheart 2020) y el artista Luciano Vecchio (Ironheart) darán inicio a una nueva historia que comenzará en CHAMPIONS # 6.

 

"Me entristece decir adiós a los Campeones en este momento, pero estoy muy emocionado de que algunos creadores increíbles estén tomando el mando", dijo Ewing. "Especialmente Luciano, con quien tuve la gran alegría de trabajar en Ironheart".

“Creo que hoy es muy fácil para los jóvenes sentirse impotentes o abrumados por el peso del mundo y sus males sobre sus hombros. Con la retórica apareciendo constantemente sobre cómo los jóvenes salvarán el mundo, pero no necesariamente con el sistema de apoyo para ayudar, es importante que Champions exista como una historia en la que SÍ tienen el poder ”, explicó Lore. "Donde incluso si los adolescentes solo se tienen el uno al otro, pueden cambiar el mundo, el resto de nosotros, los adultos, al diablo".

 

Luciano Vecchio, conocido por su trabajo en libros como Ironheart y el próximo Rey de Negro: Wiccan y Hulkling, continúa dando vida a los jóvenes héroes de Marvel con su estilo vibrante y llamativo.

 

“Personalmente, esta es la continuación perfecta de mi carrera como artista en Ironheart, que ha sido muy importante para mí, y estoy muy emocionada de volver a conectar con Riri y también poder dibujar a Ms. Marvel, Miles y el resto de los niños. y poner mi marca visual en ellos individualmente y como un equipo cohesionado ”, dijo Vecchio. “Los héroes jóvenes del legado son mi categoría favorita en el género de superhéroes porque redefinen y actualizan los arquetipos que amamos en un mundo en constante evolución que desafía el tipo de historias que contamos. New York, NY— January 13, 2021 — The Champions’ latest ongoing series continues this April with an all-star new creative team and a killer new threat. Taking over from acclaimed creative team of Eve L. Ewing, Simon Di Meo and Bob Quinn, writer Danny Lore (Ironheart 2020) and artist Luciano Vecchio (Ironheart) will kick off a brand-new storyline starting in CHAMPIONS #6.

“I think it's very easy today for young people to feel either helpless or overwhelmed with the weight of the world and its ills on their shoulders. With rhetoric constantly showing up about how the youth will save the world, but not necessarily with the support system to assist, it's important that Champions exists as a story in which they DO have the power,” Lore explained. “Where even if the teens only have each other, they can change the world, the rest of us grown folk be damned.”

 

Luciano Vecchio, known for his work on books like Ironheart and the upcoming King in Black: Wiccan and Hulkling, continues to bring Marvel’s young heroes to life with his vibrant and eye-catching style.

 

“Personally this is the perfect follow up to my run as artist on Ironheart, which has been super significant to me, and I’m so excited to reconnect with Riri and also get to draw Ms. Marvel, Miles and the rest of the kids and get my visual brand on them individually and as a cohesive team,” Vecchio said. “Young legacy heroes are my favorite category in the superhero genre because they redefine and update the archetypes we love in a constantly evolving world that challenges the kind of stories we tell.
