Sinopsis:

Intenso penúltimo capítulo que explora el duelo y el dolor de la traición.

La narrativa consiste en flashbacks que se mezclan entre nuestro mundo y el infierno que a veces es difícil de identificar.

Arte 

Es orgánico y con texturas que le otorga un dinamismo y tono perverso genial para narrar esta interesante y espeluznante/violenta historia.

Synopsis:

After learning that the woman with whom he was having an affair is in danger, Hampton considers taking a one-time opportunity to stop the Gyre and cross between the worlds of the dead and the living-even though doing so will damn him to an endless eternity within the Moratorium.

Plot

Hampton lives in this place that mixes our reality with that of hell, The Moratorium, where La Python explains how he got to this place, only to discover that his death is caused by betrayal, that of his fellow detective. Now Hampton fears for the lives of her wife Nora and her lover Cali, but to get to her he's going to need the help of another person trapped in this hell. In order to stop those who betrayed him and save the lives of those he loves, Hampton has only six minutes and six bullets from a special revolver to do it. Intense penultimate chapter that explores mourning and the pain of betrayal. The narrative consists of flashbacks that mix between our world and the hell that is sometimes difficult to identify.

Art It's organic and textured, giving it a dynamism and perverse tone that's great for telling this interesting and creepy story.

Sinopsis: 

Hampton Wales, un detective de homicidios de Detroit, se encuentra atrapado en una realidad misteriosa y violenta, solo para encontrarse muerto mientras intenta resolver un homicidio aparentemente normal y rutinario. Enfrentado a un atormentador inmortal conocido como La Piton, Hampton comienza una búsqueda oscura y retorcida para descubrir por qué y cómo murió. Trama 

Hampton investiga a un misterioso traficante de drogas callejero que le llama LA PITÓN, es una especie de asesino en serie que despelleja a sus víctimas y las asesina como una culebra pitón.

Hampton no sabe a lo que se enfrenta y su gran defecto es confiar ciegamente en otros por lo que lo lleva a sufrir una tragedia y ahora en otro plano astral debe usar un misterioso revólver y seguir un camino letal.

Excelente inicio de una historia que mezcla a la perfección terror sobrenatural, misterio policial, asesinos en serie, detectives NOIR y algo de westerns. 

Arte 

Es orgánico y con texturas que le otorga un dinamismo y tono perverso genial para narrar esta interesante y espeluznante/violenta historia.

Synopsis:

Hampton Wales, a Detroit homicide detective, finds himself trapped in a mysterious and violent reality, only to find himself dead while attempting to solve a seemingly average and routine homicide. Confronted by an immortal tormenter known as La Piton (the Python), Hampton begins a dark and twisted quest to find out why and how he died. To do so, he must face off against a legion of gun-toting, deceased Revolvers within the Moratorium, a hellish version of Puragatory. Hampton will need to "kill of be killed" to have enough time to unravel his demise and discover it was by his own hand, someone else, or something more sinister.

Plot

Hampton investigates a mysterious street drug dealer who calls him THE PYTHON, he is a kind of serial killer who skins his victims and kills them like a python. Hampton does not know what he is facing and his great defect is to blindly trust others, which leads him to suffer a tragedy and now in another astral plane he must use a mysterious revolver and follow a lethal path. Excellent beginning of a story that perfectly mixes supernatural terror, police mystery, serial killers, NOIR genre and some westerns. Art It's organic and textured, giving it a dynamism and perverse tone that's great for telling this interesting and creepy story.

 Top Cow Productions, Inc., the company behind Witchblade, The Darkness and Wanted, announced today that it has partnered with EP1T0ME Studios, Inc. to co-produce and to publish Revolvers.

 Revolvers, penned by John Zuur Platten (St. Mercy), illustrated by Christian DiBari (TCP: Colossus, Tales Told in Techni-Horror) and colored by Simon Gough, introduces Hampton Wales, a Detroit homicide detective trapped in a mysterious and violent alternate reality, struggling to solve his own, seemingly mundane, murder.

“I had this idea for the Moratorium, a purgatory wherein the dead, the Revolvers, descend from humans to demonic creatures each time around the Gyre,” says Platten.  “EP1T0ME let me go dark; I had a blast weaving Hampton’s twisted story through his sordid cast of characters and overlaying today’s Detroit with a more hellish version of it.”

“Revolvers is hands down the darkest horror book I've done yet,” says DiBari.  “It's got a bit of that Michael Mann crime neo-noir and a lot of Clive Barker's Hellraiser.  The world that John and I are creating is definitely a crazy one; I can't wait for Top Cow fans to check it out!”
