What does it come from?
A best-of-the-best secret agent with memories he couldn't possibly possess, a mystery writer in her 60s who spends her retirement solving crimes, a man of action with mysterious drugs that keep him ahead of a constant string of targeted disasters, a seemingly omnipotent terrorist organization that might be behind it all . . .
And they're all connected to one man: a science-fiction author with more information than seems possible, whose books may hold the key to either saving reality or destroying it.
The comic begins with the writer meeting with all the protagonists of his novel, Dr. Queen, John Shaw, Paige and Thomas Cord, explaining that everything he knows is due to a BLACK LASER from an alternate universe.
This laser gives you the ability to understand the relationship between all the historical events of the past and thus reveals the future.
This laser is created by the MI-X counterespionage organization that asks to gather all these spies to stop the favorite villain Goldmaze Leader and who is in a castle.
Upon reaching this place and defeating an entire army, they learn that the writer is Goldmaze Leader and that eliminating them is the final step in their plan to control the planet, but this team explodes everything and escapes.
