TRAMA

Loki desata su ira y resentimiento hacia Asgard, sus monstruosos hijos y ejercito artacan con furia, caen varios dioses y Surtur usa su fuego para llevar todo a cenizas, pero esto termina siendo el inicio de otra generación proveniente del propio Odin y Thor que se preparan para vivir en un mundo después de los dioses.

Excelente y esperanzador cierre de una saga hermosa digna de leer, que recoplia con logica todas estas historias nordicas perdidas.

ARTE

Es clásico con muchos detalles que narra con dinamismo toda la muerte y destrucción pero al mismo tiempo capta la esperanza.

El final de los tiempos llegó, el ragnarok, cerrando así esta fantástica adaptación de una mitología tan rica como elegante que sigue siendo relevante

What does it come from?

In the finale of Ragnarok: The Final Destiny of the Gods, artist P. Craig Russell illustrates the death of the gods, the end of the world, its renewal, and concludes the epic run of Neil Gaiman's Norse Mythology.    

PLOT

Loki unleashes his anger and resentment towards Asgard, his monstrous children and army attack furiously, several gods fall and Surtur uses his fire to burn everything to ashes, but this ends up being the beginning of another generation from Odin and Thor himself who are preparing to live in a world after the gods.

Excellent and hopeful closing of a beautiful saga worth reading, which logically collects all these lost Nordic stories.

ART

It is classic with many details that dynamically narrates all the death and destruction but at the same time captures the hope.

Summary

The end of times has come, Ragnarok, thus closing this fantastic adaptation of a mythology as rich as it is elegant that is still relevant

Frigga, como madre preocupada crea un hechizo donde enumera a todos los elementos y seres de los reinos para que no le hagan daño, pero olvida el muérdago de Valhalla y Loki descubre esto con sus engaños, porque el quiere acabar con balder y regresar a manos de su esposa. Loki está celoso de lo llamativo y querido que es Balder.

Magnífico capítulo que acerca cada vez más al final de los tiempos, el Ragnarok.

El gigante marino Aegir evita tener que organizar un banquete para los dioses al hacer que Thor y Tyr emprendan una búsqueda salvaje para encontrar un caldero y enfrentar a nuestros héroes contra una giganta de múltiples cabezas, serpientes marinas que escupen fuego y criaturas mitológicas más extrañas.

TRAMA

Thor y Tyr llegan a las puertas del reino de Aegir, poderoso dios de los océanos, estos asgardianos llegan con ínfulas de poder y le exigen un banquete, Aegir, ser de gran tamaño les dice que si le consiguen un caldero lo suficientemente grande para alimentarlos a todos, en Asgard no existe tal artefacto y Tyr le dice a Thor que su padrastro el Gigante Hymir tiene uno donde preparan la cerveza.

Ambos se lanzan a la aventura y Thor debe convencer a Hymir para que le preste el caldero, para eso debe romper una copa indestructible, Thor tiene un plan.

La serpiente Midgard aparece de manera furtiva.

Excelente narración de este divertida e interesante historia de la mitología.

ARTE

David Rubin es un magnifico ilustrador con un arte lleno de detalles y que mantiene ese tono de cuentos de hadas pero al mismo tiempo ofrece secuencias vertiginosas de comics actuales.

The sea giant Aegir avoids having to throw a banquet for the gods by setting Thor and Tyr off on a wild quest to find a cauldron and pitting our heroes against a multiheaded giantess, fire-breathing sea serpents, and more bizarre mythological creatures.

PLOT

Thor and Tyr arrive at the gates of the kingdom of Aegir, powerful god of the oceans, these Asgardians arrive with pretensions of power and demand a banquet, Aegir, a large being, tells them that if they get him a cauldron large enough to feed them everyone, in Asgard there is no such artifact and Tyr tells Thor that his stepfather the Giant Hymir has one where they prepare beer.
