¿De qué viene?

¡VIVO Y ATACAN! ¡Llega la nueva era del ASOMBROSO SPIDER-MAN! Peter, sorprendentemente, está desempleado y busca un empleo remunerado, pero su búsqueda se ve interrumpida por un RINOCERONTE FURIOSO que no es más que la punta de un iceberg siniestro. ¿Qué villano arácnido importante está trabajando entre bastidores, armando a otros villanos arácnidos, incluyendo a uno que no hemos visto en MÁS DE SIETE AÑOS? Además, ¿qué trama ese Norman Osborn sin Goblins?

Trama

Este cómic posee una historia principal larga y una corta:

Historia Principal de Joe Kelly y Pepe Larraz:

Peter intenta conseguir trabajo y sus entrevistas son un desastre porque están influenciadas por todos sus errores del pasado como la caída de Parker Industries y por trabajar para Norman Osborn.

Cuando consigue una buena oportunidad laboral gracias a un compañero de clases que le hacia bullie llamado Brian Mehring, Rhino aparece y debe detenerlo el detalle es que de manera sorpresiva Rhino se desplomó y le da un infarto que gracias al RCP de Spider-man lo logran salvar. Lo que le paso a Rhino está relacionado con la empresa Kingsley.

Peter investiga en el apartamento de Rhino y es atacado por un ejército de su senmigos, Doco Ock, Green Goblin, Mysterio, Hammer Head, Scorpio etc. aunque parece obra de Misterio.

Este primer cómic comienza con un ritmo lento y rutinario donde no muestran nada impresionante.

Historia corta de Joe Kelly y John Romita Jr.

Narra cómo en la conferencia de prensa donde Norman Osborn planeaba renunciar es atacado por un robot que le hace recapacitar y cambia el objetivo de su empresa, trata de enmendar todo el daño hecho por Green Goblin.

Por otro lado aparece un ser lanfo Hellgate en el desierto.

Arte 

Magníficos artes con dos visiones diferentes que representan lo clásico y lo moderno de la industria del cómic, es un deleite visual.

Resumen

What does it come from?

ALIVE & THWIPPING! The next era of AMAZING SPIDER-MAN has arrived! Peter is, shockingly, without a job and looking for gainful employment, but his job search is interrupted by a RAMPAGING RHINO who is but the tip of a sinister iceberg. What major Spider-Villain is working behind the scenes weaponizing other Spider-Villains including one we haven't seen in OVER SEVEN YEARS?! Also, what is that Goblin-free Norman Osborn up to anyway?

Plot

This comic has a long main story and a short one:

Main Story by Joe Kelly and Pepe Larraz:

Peter tries to get a job, but his interviews are a disaster because they are influenced by all his past mistakes, such as the fall of Parker Industries and working for Norman Osborn.

When he gets a good job opportunity thanks to a classmate named Brian Mehring who bullied him, Rhino appears and he has to stop him. The twist is that Rhino suddenly collapses and has a heart attack, which Spider-Man manages to save him thanks to CPR. What happened to Rhino is related to Kingsley.

Peter investigates Rhino's apartment and is attacked by an army of his enemies: Doco Ock, Green Goblin, Mysterio, Hammer Head, Scorpio, etc., although it seems to be the work of Mysterio.

This first comic begins with a slow and routine pace where nothing impressive is shown.

Short story by Joe Kelly and John Romita Jr.

It tells the story of how, at the press conference where Norman Osborn was planning to resign, he is attacked by a robot that makes him reconsider and changes the company's mission. He tries to undo all the damage done by the Green Goblin.

On the other hand, a Hellgate-like creature appears in the desert.

Art

Magnificent art with two different visions that represent the classic and modern aspects of the comic book industry; it's a visual delight.

Summary

Peter Parker starts from scratch, and Rhino arrives to complicate everything.

New York, NY— December 19, 2024 — Marvel Comics history is made this April with the launch of a new volume of its most iconic title—AMAZING SPIDER-MAN! Announced exclusively earlier today from Polygon, the next era of the beloved series will be brought to you by celebrated Amazing-Spider-Man and Deadpool scribe Joe Kelly, legendary Amazing Spider-Man artist John Romita Jr. and one of the industry’s most acclaimed contemporary artists, Pepe Larraz, fresh off his exemplary work on Blood Hunt and X-Men. The new AMAZING SPIDER-MAN will deliver classic Spidey storytelling with bold new horizons for Spider-Man; his supporting cast (including the recently redeemed Norman Osborn and Peter’s new girlfriend Shay), and the greatest supervillains in all of pop culture.

 

The new run finds Peter without a job and looking for gainful employment, but his job search is interrupted by a rampaging Rhino who is but the tip of a sinister iceberg. “Even though this is a new #1, I don’t think of it as a ‘restart’ per se,” Kelly explained to Polygon. “I’m writing the next chapter of the story of one the world’s greatest characters, lucky enough to follow in the footsteps of the folks before me. After that sinks in, I spend a lot of time thinking about what I love about Spider-Man and his cast, what stories resonated with me at different times of my life, and how I can synthesize all of that into something that works with what came before but breaks new ground…. I feel a drive to take bold, unexpected swings in order to see how Spider-Man deals with Marvel-sized curve balls. Pressure makes diamonds.”

 

“The most important part of Spider-Man that I wanted to portray accurately is Peter,” Larraz added. “Of course I can talk about drawing a believable New York, I shot hundreds of pictures of details of the city for reference, or how I’ve focused on drawing the flow of Spidey’s movement and speed in a way closer to animation than comics. But I think Spider-Man comics work because we care about Peter and his world, so that was my main focus: To draw a Peter that you instantly recognize and empathize [with].”

 

“I didn’t think we could get Joe for a substantial run of AMAZING SPIDER-MAN,” Spider-Editor Nick Lowe said. “He’s always so busy with animation and television and movies, so he usually just dips in and out of comics. That’s why we tapped him for ‘The 8 Deaths of Spider-Man.’ He was doing so great, so when he asked if we’d consider him for being the ongoing writer, I felt like I won the lottery. Add Pepe Larraz’s masterful and supersonic talent to the equation, and we knew we had the makings of an instant classic. Then John Romita Jr. agreed to stay on… fireworks went off. I better go buy some lottery tickets!”

Trama Wanted

Wesley Gibson es una persona hipocondríaca que nadie respeta ni valora, con ataques de ansiedad recurrentes. Nunca conoció a su padre, pero resulta que era el líder de la Fraternidad, una organización de super criminales que controla el mundo, al asesinarlo, hace falta quien lo suplante.

Wesley está por conocer un mundo de peligros y violencia sin límite y en su cuerpo despierta unas habilidades ocultas sin precedentes.

La Fraternidad eliminó a todos los superhéroes del mundo y ahora lo controlan con una mano de hierro, atentos a eliminar a cualquier nuevo superhéroe que pareciera.

Este cómic incluye villanos cuyas acciones son crueles y barbáricas en su máxima expresión, con nombres claves hilarantes y algunos groseros, por lo que volver a leerlo luego de veinte años es una experiencia nostálgica e interesante, donde vemos cómo el guion de Millar sigue manteniendo ese factor sorpresa con irreverencia y sin filtro que atrapa al lector. Incluye sketches inéditos de los personajes arte de JG Jones, así como todas las portadas.

Wanted tuvo una adaptación cinematográfica que fue ícono del cine en su año de estreno 2008.

Plot Big Game

In humanity's subconscious these erased memories have flourished in the form of movies, series and comics, but when heroes begin to emerge again, the Brotherhood of Super Criminals fears that the world will remember what happened in 1986 and lose it again. the power they have.

In this event we will see all the characters from the Millarworld universe who are attacked with extreme cruelty, each page of this comic will fill you with emotion and many will break your heart if you are fans of this universe. It is violent and dizzying.

It is a master class in how to write an ensemble or crossover comic, Mark Millar moves your emotions, he will leave you breathless page after page without leaving you any other option than to continue reading.

Pepe Larraz captures the essence of all these Millarworld characters but gives them his own touch, with detailed art with many textures, where Niro's colors offer a nostalgic touch but at the same time defines each of these characters.

Plot Wanted

Wesley Gibson is a hypochondriac who no one respects or values, with recurrent anxiety attacks. He never knew his father, but it turns out that he was the leader of the Fraternity, an organization of super criminals that controls the world. When he is killed, someone is needed to replace him.

Wesley is about to discover a world of danger and violence without limits, and hidden abilities without precedent awaken in his body.

The Fraternity eliminated all the superheroes in the world and now they control it with an iron fist, attentive to eliminate any new superhero that appears.

This comic includes villains whose actions are cruel and barbaric in their maximum expression, with hilarious code names and some rude ones, so rereading it after twenty years is a nostalgic and interesting experience, where we see how Millar's script continues to maintain that surprise factor with irreverence and without a filter that captures the reader. It includes unpublished sketches of the characters, art by JG Jones, as well as all the covers.

Wanted had a film adaptation that was iconic in its release year 2008.

JG Jones offers art full of textures but with mind-blowing details, each panel is mesmerizing and what he achieves with facial expressions is impressive.

This June, creators from the X-Men’s past, present, and future come together to bid a final farewell to the Krakoan Age in X-MEN #35, the milestone 700^th issue of Uncanny X-Men!

 

New York, NY— March 6, 2024 — In July 2019, the world of the X-Men was shattered and reborn on Krakoa in visionary writer Jonathan Hickman’s House of X. In the years since, fans have experienced a golden age of mutant storytelling, filled with bold ideas, astonishing character developments, and revolutionary new takes on the mutant metaphor. Now, the next seminal shift in the history of the X-Men is on the horizon, but first, Marvel Comics proudly presents the final act of the Krakoan Age this June in X-MEN #35!

 

X-MEN #35 will be the milestone 700^th issue of Uncanny X-Men and will feature an epic-length story by acclaimed writers and artists who shaped the Krakoan Age including Gerry Duggan, Kieron Gillen, Al Ewing, Lucas Werneck, Joshua Cassara, and more. The giant-sized issue will also feature a story of family by X-Men master Chris Claremont and offer a glimpse of things to come in the new X-Men titles launching this summer. It’s a landmark issue for one of pop culture’s most beloved franchises that no comic book fan will want to miss!

 

All good things must come to an end, and as good of a thing as the Krakoan era has been for mutantkind…its time has come at last. The tragedy and triumph of FALL OF THE HOUSE OF X, the madness and mystery of RISE OF THE POWERS OF X…they have all come to their end and led to this moment that will change the future of mutantkind for years to come.

 

On closing out this groundbreaking period of the mutant mythos, Senior Editor Jordan D. White shared, “Being a part of the Krakoan experiment has been a true thrill. Honestly—in many ways it echoed the experience of mutantkind itself in the era. We worked differently, we tried new things, we survived incredible new experiences. I consider myself extremely fortunate to have worked with such fantastically talented creators throughout the era, and working on the glorious ending is truly bittersweet. I will miss it with my whole heart, but I do know… Krakoa will live on within us forever.”
