¿De qué viene?

Brady ha descubierto que su padre no es el fracasado que él creía, y la noticia no le hace ninguna gracia. Por si fuera poco, la mafia ha aparecido para reclamar la parte del Libro Omega que considera suya, y no dudará en matar a Brady para conseguirla. Así, Brady se ve obligado a desvelar más secretos del libro para protegerse a sí mismo y al mundo de un conocimiento que nadie debería poseer en los tiempos que corren.

Trama

Alexander Parsons a traves de su presencia astral le explica a su hijo el Sacerdote Brady Parsons que su exsocio Cless (El Hombre Celoso)  está recopilando páginas del OMEGA BOOK, libro que tiene todos los secretos de universo y en manos equivocadas pone en peligro la fábrica de nuestra realidad.

Brady no quiere hacer caso a su padre, está desconcertado por este descubrimiento que sacude su fe, ya que siente que está siendo manipulado, pero cuando llega al hotel Rene, la líder de la Familia Mafiosa Rigula quien le prestó dinero a Alexander para terminar su investigación, ahora quiere cobrar y quiere el  OMEGA BOOK.

Brady usa una arma de Alexander y logran escapar, Brady nunca habia visto a su padre tan desesperado y humilde, por lo que decide que le va a ayudar, cuando llegan al laboratorio secreto de Alexander, descubre que Cless se robo las páginas finales del OMEGA BOOK.

Espectacular segundo capítulo que sigue mezclando misterio, acción y ciencia ficción dentro de un debate sobre la espiritualidad vs.. la ciencia.

Arte

Parece pinturas al óleo en lienzo, que crea una atmósfera onírica que donde lo real se convierte en algo como salido de un sueño, que es magnífico y perfecto para el desarrollo de esta trama.

What does it come from?

Brady has learned his father isn't the failure he believed, and he's not happy about it. On top of that, the mob has shown up to collect the percentage of the Omega Book that they believe they're owed, and they have no qualms about killing Brady to get it. Brady is thereby forced to unlock more secrets of the book to protect himself and the world from knowledge that nobody should have in this day and age.

Plot

Through his astral presence, Alexander Parsons explains to his son—the priest Brady Parsons—that his former partner Cless (The Jealous Man) is gathering pages from the OMEGA BOOK. This tome holds all the secrets of the universe, and in the wrong hands, it threatens the very fabric of our reality.

Brady is reluctant to heed his father; he is unsettled by a discovery that shakes his faith, feeling as though he is being manipulated. However, upon arriving at the hotel, he encounters Rene—leader of the Rigula crime family, who had lent Alexander the funds to complete his research. She has come to collect the debt and demands the OMEGA BOOK.

Brady uses one of Alexander’s weapons, and they manage to escape. Having never seen his father so desperate and humbled, Brady decides to help him; yet, upon reaching Alexander’s secret laboratory, he discovers that Cless has stolen the final pages of the OMEGA BOOK.

A spectacular second chapter that continues to blend mystery, action, and science fiction within a debate on spirituality versus science.

The artwork resembles oil paintings on canvas, creating a dreamlike atmosphere where reality blurs into something surreal—a magnificent style perfectly suited to the story's development.

Trama

Tras el OMEGA BOOK está un científico misterioso y cruel con tecnología avanzada que le llaman "El Hombre Celoso" y una mujer  asesina que la llaman "La Mujer con .45".

El hijo de Alexander, es el Sacerdote Brady Parsons, quien recibe un misterioso maletín de su padre con unos dispositivos y unas instrucciones donde le pide que le ayude a desaparecer el Omega Book. Brady esta distanciado de su padre, debido a que Alexander nunca estuvo presente. Brady es un hombre de fe, mientras Alexander era un hombre de ciencia, sus visiones y creencias chocaron todos estos años.

Pero cuando Brady se pone unos lentes especiales Alexander le dejó, empezó a ver todos los misterios y elementos físicos del universo con detalle, que le está empezando a quebrantar sus creencias religiosas. Plot

Alexander's son, Father Brady Parsons, receives a mysterious briefcase from his father containing devices and instructions asking him to help make the Omega Book disappear. Brady is estranged from his father because Alexander was never present in his life. Brady is a man of faith, while Alexander was a man of science; their visions and beliefs clashed all these years.

But when Brady puts on special glasses that Alexander leaves him, he begins to see all the mysteries and physical elements of the universe in detail, which is starting to shake his religious beliefs. Alexander tells him that the existence of the Omega Book has increased the probability of the universe's destruction from 1:93 to 1:17.

This first installment unfolds a brilliant story that blends mystery, action, and science fiction within a debate about spirituality versus science.

Trama

Marc Spector/Moon Knight muere a manos del terrible Bushman y Marlene es testigo de esto, ella en su dolor y duelo es seducida por el poder de la luz del dios eqipcio Ra, quien le otorga el poder de Luminary, quien con su luz guiará  a los que sufren y castigará a los que se esconden en la oscuridad. 

Pero la sed de venganza de Marlene no la hace descansar y llega hasta donde Bushman se esconde...y arriesga todo.

Interesante visión de lo que puede convertirse Marlene, es un comic dedicado al duelo.

Es increíblemente detallado con secuencias casi hiper-reales, con secuencias de pelea alucinantes, Edgar Salazar es un artista brillante.

But Marlene's thirst for revenge won't let her rest and she goes to where Bushman is hiding... and risks everything.

Interesting vision of what Marlene can become, he is a comic dedicated to mourning.

ART

It's incredibly detailed with almost hyper-real footage, with mind-blowing fight sequences, Edgar Salazar is a brilliant artist.

Cuando BEN GRIMM regresa a la Tierra después de su exploración del espacio posterior a SECRET WARS, descubre que los CUATRO FANTÁSTICOS han atrapado a un simbionte Klyntar indefenso en el laboratorio de Reed. ¿Pero ese simbionte es realmente indefenso? ¿O es realmente uno de los simbiontes más peligrosos de la galaxia? ¡Sé testigo del nacimiento de un nuevo VENOM!

Trama

Reed Richards tiene atrapado al simbiote que logró quitarle a Spider-man, Ben llega molesto porque Reed olvidó una fecha especial. Ben le reclama a Reed que aún no lo ha curado.

El dolor de Ben Grimm por volver a tener su look humano es tan profundo que hace que caiga en las mentiras de Venom y se fusionan, Ben es un mejor host que Spider-man, primero por su inmensa fuerza física, resistencia y por tener su autoestima tan baja.

Esta versión de Venom hace que Ben vuelva a tener su look humano y luego a voluntad propia convertirse en Venom.

Lizard descubre lo que tiene Ben y se los quita para convertirse en Lizard Venom y asesina sin piedad a Reed y Sue, pero Ben regresa y recupera a Venom...pero ahora su tristeza es profunda porque es un verdadero monstruo. Este What if...? causa la desaparición de los Fantastic Four de una manera trágica.

Interesante versión del nacimiento de Venom.

PLOT

Reed Richards has trapped the symbiote that he managed to take from Spider-man, Ben arrives upset because Reed forgot a special date. Ben tells Reed that he hasn't healed him yet.

Ben Grimm's pain for having his human look again is so deep that it makes him fall for Venom's lies and they merge, Ben is a better host than Spider-man, first because of his immense physical strength, resistance and for having his so low self esteem

This version of Venom causes Ben to revert to his human appearance and then at will become Venom.

The Lizard finds out what Ben has and takes them from him to become the Lizard Venom and mercilessly murders Reed and Sue, but Ben comes back and gets Venom back... but now his sadness runs deep because he is a true monster. This What if...? causes the demise of the Fantastic Four in a tragic way.

Interesting version of the birth of Venom.

It's incredibly detailed with almost hyper-real footage.

Summary

Ben Grimm falls for the symbiote's lies and the new Venom is born.

¡Spider-Legend Gerry Conway regresa a su Spider-Story más famoso para este WHAT IF junto con la coguionista Jody Houser! ¿Y SI Gwen Stacy no muriera en el puente ese día, pero Spider-Man SÍ? 

Trama

Esta historia toma un giro cuando Spider-man logra salvar a Gwen a tiempo y protegiendo su cuello para que no se partiera, pero eso lo distrajo y el cae y es quien se rompe el cuello, ahogándose en el río y Gwen presencia todo esto.

La historia se centra en el duelo de Gwen y en su deseo y obsesión de eliminar a Green Goblin, por l o que le pide ayuda a Harry Osborn.

Pero esta obsesión se convierte en una cacería, donde Norman Osborn es víctima y Gwen es responsable del nacimiento de un villano peor.

Este capítulo se mueve en el dolor de una pérdida pero posee un final esperanzador.

Arte 

Logra recrear la atmósfera original que Gerry Conway creó con su trama y Gil Kane plasmó en unas secuencias artísticas inolvidables.

What does it come from?

Spider-Legend Gerry Conway returns to his most famous Spider-Story for this WHAT IF along with co-writer Jody Houser! WHAT IF Gwen Stacy didn't die on the bridge that day, but Spider-Man DID?! 'Nuff said, I presume!

PLOT

This story takes a turn when Spider-man manages to save Gwen in time and protecting her neck from breaking, but that distracted him and he falls and is the one who breaks his neck, drowning in the river and Gwen witnesses all this.

The story centers on Gwen's grief and her desire and obsession to eliminate the Green Goblin, because of her or her asking Harry Osborn for help.

But this obsession turns into a manhunt, where Norman Osborn falls victim and Gwen is responsible for the birth of a worse villain.

This chapter moves in the pain of a loss but has a hopeful ending.

ART

He manages to recreate the original atmosphere that Gerry Conway created with his plot and Gil Kane embodied in some unforgettable artistic sequences.

Summary

A macabre twist makes Gwen Stacy seek to avenge the death of her beloved Peter

¿De qué viene?

¡EL FINAL DE "BLOOD OF THE FATHERS"! El Doctor Doom toma su posición final para controlar a toda la humanidad: ¡pasado, presente y futuro! Thor debe derrotarlo antes de que el curso de la historia y el futuro de los Diez Reinos se alteren irrevocablemente, pero domar una fuerza lo suficientemente poderosa como para destruir el libre albedrío podría resultar un desafío mayor de lo que Thor podría haber imaginado... Además, el origen misterioso de Hela...¡Finalmente se revela !

Trama

Thor lleva a la joven Hela, la gema negra que Bor creó con su padre, Loki, pero en una época pasada, con un Loki más joven a quien le explica que debe criar a Hela como su hija, aun cuando no lo es, pero es parte de la historia, este el origen verdadero de Hela.

Mientras tanto Runa lucha contra el Nidhogg para detenerlo de seguir robando almas, Runa controla las almas del Valhalla y con este ejército, este dragón no tiene oportunidad de ganar.

Hela en el presente le advierte a Doctor Doom que ya sabe cual es su plan, que lo acaban de neutralizar y que lo deja ir porque le debía una.

Por otro lado Laussa vuelve a su época con Thor y le quiere decir algo, que algo va  a pasar importante, pero Thor no le importa.

Jane Foster habla con Odin, Odin siente que es momento de irse al Valhalla, que debe entender que su era término y que es ahora el momento del Rey Thor, el cómic cierra con el final de una historia que Odin nunca terminaba cuando eran niños, es un cierre conmovedor porque Odin se despide como un padre no como un rey.

Impactante, conmovedor y revelador final de una saga.

Arte 

Ambos artes son distintos y se centran en narrar dos subtramas paralelas, el arte de Juan Gedeon tiene más texturas , mientras que el de Sergio Davila es más detallado y colorido.

Resumen

La era de Thor comienza con un cierre conmovedor y con la recuperación de las almas con una revelación sobre el verdadero origen de Hela.

What does it come from?

Thor must defeat him before the course of history and the future of the Ten Realms are irrevocably altere - -but taming a force powerful enough to destroy free will itself might prove to be a greater challenge than Thor could have imagined… Plus, the mysterious origin of Hela is finally revealed!

Plot

Thor carries the young Hela, the black gem that Bor created with his father, Loki, but in a bygone age, with a younger Loki to whom he explains that he must raise Hela as his daughter, even though she is not, but It is part of the story, this is the true origin of Hela.

Meanwhile Runa fights against the Nidhogg to stop him from stealing souls, Runa controls the souls of Valhalla and with this army, this dragon has no chance to win.

Hela in the present warns Doctor Doom that she already knows what her plan is, that he was just neutralized, and that she is letting him go because she owed him one.

On the other hand, Laussa returns to her time with Thor and wants to tell him something, that something important is going to happen, but Thor doesn't care.

Jane Foster talks to Odin, Odin feels that it is time to go to Valhalla, that he must understand that his era is over and that it is now the time of King Thor, the comic closes with the end of a story that Odin never finished when they were children, It's a moving closure because Odin says goodbye like a father, not a king.

Shocking, moving and revealing end of a saga.

Art

Both arts are different and focus on narrating two parallel subplots, Juan Gedeon's art has more textures, while Sergio Davila's is more detailed and colorful.

Summary

The Age of Thor begins with a poignant close and the retrieval of souls with a revelation of Hela's true origin.
