Dark Horse Comics viene con esta miniserie de 4 capítulos donde la súper espía Nora Freud tiene la misión de vigilar cualquier movimiento sospechoso en una isla tropical, el único detalle es que la isla está en el borde del Triángulo de las Bermudas, donde puede pasar cualquier cosa aparte de estar poblada por espías, turistas y villanos malvados que buscan la dominación global.

¿De Que viene?

En Spy Island #3 Esta entrega revela el pasado de Nora y Connie, dónde el padre de ambas, formaba parte de la organización criminal Brotherhood Depravity y al ser testigo clave en su juicio su vida corría peligro.

Nora le creó una identidad de mimo para pasar desapercibido y salvarse de la mafia, lo mando al Triángulo de las Bermudas lo cual no fue una buena idea.....capitulo final.

¿Qué sucede?

Para salvar a Harry, Connie y Nora fingen su muerte y preparan un intervención a lo que realiza su padre Louie, es la causa del ataque de las sirenas y de los movimientos del Kraken.

Aunque Louie es un mimo, su costumbre de negocios sucios no ha cambiado, ahora se dedica a robar reliquias del Triángulo de las Bermudas y eso esta causando indignación en los seres que viven en ese lugar.

Arte y Trama

Este cómic es magnifico, una lectura ligera con excelentes chistes a un ritmo perfecto con un arte muy inteligente que potencia todo, paginas que por ejemplo detallan un mapa geopolítico del Triángulos de las Bermudas.

Resumen

Con mucho humor inteligente y buenas seucencias de accion, Spy Island se convierte en una muy agradable sorpresa en la industria del cómics del 2020.

Dark Horse Comics comes with this 4-chapter miniseries where the super spy Nora Freud has the mission to monitor any suspicious movement on a tropical island, the only detail is that the island is on the edge of the Bermuda Triangle, where anything apart from being populated by spies, tourists and evil villains seeking global domination.

What does it come from?

In Spy Island # 3 reveals the past of Nora and Connie, where their father was part of the Brotherhood Depravity criminal organization and by being a key witness in their trial, his life was in danger.

Nora created a mime identity for him to go unnoticed and save him from the mafia, she sent him to the Bermuda Triangle which was not a good idea ..... this is the final chapter.

What's going on?

To save Harry, Connie and Nora fake his death and prepare an intervention to what their father Louie does, it is the cause of the sirens attack and the Kraken's movements.

Although Louie is a mime, his habit of dirty business has not changed, now he is dedicated to stealing relics from the Bermuda Triangle and that is causing outrage in the beings that live in that place.

Art and Plot

This comic is magnificent, a light read with excellent jokes in a perfect rhythm with a very intelligent art that powers everything, for example a very detailed geopolitical map of the Bermuda Triangle.

Summary

With a lot of clever humor and good action sequences, Spy Island becomes a very pleasant surprise of the 2020 comic industry.

En Spy Island #2 Nora investiga la misteriosa actividad de las Sirenas, se están alimentan de turistas y lidia con conflictos de su pasado con su hermana Connie.

¿Qué sucede?

Esta entrega revela el pasado de Nora y Connie, dónde el padre de ambas, formaba parte de la organización criminal Brotherhood Depravity y al ser testigo clave en su juicio su vida corría peligro.

Connie era joven y nunca se enteró que Nora le cambió la identidad a su padre y lo convirtió en un mimo y a un mimo verdadero lo asesinaron.

Nora envía a su padre a esta Isla por ser un lugar donde nunca lo van a encontrar. 

Connie se entera de lo de su padre y está molesta pero se dedica a conseguir el cuerpo del niño que atacó a la sirena y lo consigue.

El cómic cierra con Nora pidiendo ayuda a Connie para salvar a Harry, pero debe matarlo para lograrlo.

Resumen

Está entrega revela más del pasado de Nora y Connie, un relato interesante.

This tourist place has a map that locates all these peculiar attractions.

In Spy Island # 2 Nora investigates the mysterious activity of the Mermaids, they are feeding on tourists and dealing with conflicts from her past with her sister Connie.

What's going on?

In this chapter reveals the past of Nora and Connie, where their father was part of the Brotherhood Depravity criminal organization and by being a key witness in their trial, his life was in danger.

Connie was young and never found out that Nora changed her father's identity and turned him into a mime and a true mime was murdered.

Nora sends her father to this Island because it is a place where they will never find him.

Connie finds out about her father and is upset but she is dedicated to getting the body of the boy who attacked the mermaid and she gets it.

The comic closes with Nora asking Connie for help to save Harry, but must kill him to do so.

Summary

This issue reveals more of Nora and Connie's past, an interesting tale.

Todo el cómic presenta una serie de folletos turísticos dedicados a estos fenómenos tan particulares de esta zona como la búsqueda de dientes de sirena, eventos catastróficos del Kraken etc. Tiene un balance perfecto entre la comedia negra y la cotidianidad de fenómenos sobrenaturales.

Resumen

Nora investiga la misteriosa actividad alimenticia de las sirenas con todas las fuentes de información posible.

Nora investigates the mysterious activity of the Mermaids, they are feeding on tourists, which is not normal. Meanwhile Nora and her sister deal with conflicts from their past.

Mermaid activity is mingling with the event dedicated to the Kraken that seems to have moved to these tropical waters, far away from its icy habitat.

The entire comic features a series of tourist brochures dedicated to these phenomena so particular to this area such as the search for siren's teeth, catastrophic events of the Kraken, etc. It has a perfect balance between black comedy and the how they approach supernatural phenomena like a everyday routine event.

Summary

Nora investigates the mysterious feeding activity of mermaids with all possible sources of information.A magnificent mix of mystery, scifi and black humour
