Joined by acclaimed artist Juann Cabal, writing team Collin Kelly and Jackson Lanzing will be taking over writing duties from previous Timeless writer Jed MacKay. The superstar team, known for their work on the current Guardians of the Galaxy ongoing series, will introduce readers to the dark future of the Marvel Universe. In this world that’s been doomed by the hubris of its heroes, only one battle remains. What does it come from?

The last battle of Kang the Conqueror! Tyrant of the timeline, master of endless legions, warrior and conqueror without compare, Kang is in search of the one thing he cannot have. But he is not the only one after the Missing Moment, and Kang soon finds himself in a new position — on the run across the events of the Marvel Universe’s future!

PLOT

Kang is obsessed with a "LOSS MOMENT" the cosmos and his temporal beings have denied him an important moment, the reason he can't see it is that it is only for heroes, so Kang faces the mysterious Myrddin and her warriors, THE TWILIGHT COURT, who have code names related to King Arthur.

This battle is a blow to Kang's inflated ego, as he fails to defeat Myrddin. This missing moment can make Kang a god of the universe.

But whoever Myrddin is, she's going to take out every one of the most powerful villains in the Marvel Universe.
