Ayer, CBR reveló un nuevo traje para el mismísimo Spider-Man japonés: ¡Takuya Yamashiro! Diseñado por el artista superestrella Luciano Vecchio, el traje debutará en SPIDER-VERSE VS. VENOMVERSE #3 este julio, donde esta querida versión de Spidey se une a la guerra multiversal entre arañas y simbiontes.

"En la historia, se presenta un nuevo traje para Takuya, que lo distingue visualmente de Peter", declaró Vecchio a CBR. Revisé episodios y clips de la serie japonesa de Spider-Man para conectar con la sensibilidad y el lenguaje corporal dramático de ese universo, y también consulté otras series de principios de los 80 del género Tokusatsu en busca de claves estéticas como la bufanda y las lentes negras. Intercambié ideas y referencias con el guionista Mat Groom antes de dar con esta imagen, que podría abreviarse como una fusión entre Spider-Man y Super Sentai.

CBR también compartió un primer vistazo al número debut de SPIDER-VERSE VS. VENOMVERSE. New York, NY— March 28, 2025 — Yesterday, CBR revealed a new costume for Japan’s very own Spider-Man—Takuya Yamashiro! Designed by superstar artist Luciano Vecchio, the costume will debut in SPIDER-VERSE VS. VENOMVERSE #3 this July where this beloved version of Spidey joins the multiversal war between Spiders and Symbiotes!

 

"In the story, a new costume for Takuya is introduced, and it helps setting him visually apart from Peter," Vecchio told CBR. "I rewatched episodes and clips of the Japanese Spider-Man show to tap into that universe’s sensitivity and dramatic body language, and also referred to other early ‘80s shows in the Tokusatsu genre for aesthetic cues like the scarf and black lenses. I bounced ideas and references with writer Mat Groom before landing on this visual that can be shortened to Spider-Man meets Super Sentai."

 

CBR also shared a first look at the debut issue of SPIDER-VERSE VS. VENOMVERSE. Launching on May 14, the five-issue limited series by Vecchio and writers Kyle Higgins and Mat Groom spins out of the recent WEB OF SPIDER-VERSE: NEW BLOOD one-shot and next month’s WEB OF VENOMVERSE: FRESH BRAINS one-shot. Both introduced major new players on both sides and now, the arachnid war is here! Cada mes, las Portadas Variantes de Disney What if...? presentan a Mickey y sus amigos en recreaciones de portadas icónicas de la historia de Marvel Comics. Tras la colección del año pasado, que destacó las portadas de Los Vengadores y los X-Men, las Portadas Variantes de Disney ¿Qué Pasaría Si? de este año celebran al equipo de superhéroes que lo inició todo: ¡LOS CUATRO FANTÁSTICOS!

Dibujadas por aclamados artistas de Disney, ve a Mickey Mouse como Mister Fantástico, Minnie Mouse como la Mujer Invisible, Goofy como la Antorcha Humana, el Pato Donald como la Cosa y más en estas ingeniosas recreaciones de las portadas clásicas de los Cuatro Fantásticos. A partir de julio, las PORTADAS VARIANTES HOMENAJE A DISNEY ¿QUÉ PASARÍA SI? aparecerán mensualmente en los números de la nueva temporada de Los Cuatro Fantásticos de Ryan North y Humberto Ramos. Hoy, los fans pueden ver las seis portadas finales del programa, que aparecerán en los números 1 a 6 de Los Cuatro Fantásticos.

Las nuevas portadas reimaginan momentos de diversas épocas de Los Cuatro Fantásticos, incluyendo la legendaria portada de Jack Kirby para Los Cuatro Fantásticos n.º 49, ¡parte del primer enfrentamiento del equipo contra Galactus! Otros homenajes incluyen la portada de Joe Sinnott para Los Cuatro Fantásticos n.º 217, con H.E.R.B.I.E.; la portada de John Byrne para Los Cuatro Fantásticos n.º 252; las portadas y contraportadas de John Romita para la Edición Tesoro de Marvel n.º 2; y otra pieza de Kirby que apareció en Los Cuatro Fantásticos: La Aventura Perdida n.º 1.

LAS PORTADAS VARIANTES HOMENAJE A DISNEY ¿QUÉ PASARÍA SI? Las portadas variantes homenaje a Los Cuatro Fantásticos celebran la historia de los Cuatro Fantásticos durante un año memorable para la Primera Familia de Marvel. Además del estreno de la esperadísima película de Marvel Studios, Los Cuatro Fantásticos: Primeros Pasos, el 25 de julio, los Cuatro Fantásticos están experimentando importantes avances en ONE WORLD UNDER DOOM, un nuevo cómic que comenzó el mes pasado y que marcará el inicio de una nueva era a cargo del escritor Ryan North y el artista Humberto Ramos en Fantastic Four #1 este julio.

New York, NY— March 27, 2025 — Every month, Disney What If? Variant Covers star Mickey & Friends in recreations of iconic covers from throughout Marvel Comics history. Following last year’s collection spotlighting Avengers and X-Men covers, this year’s Disney What If? Variant Covers celebrate the super hero team that started it all—the FANTASTIC FOUR!

 

Drawn by acclaimed Disney artists, see Mickey Mouse as Mister Fantastic, Minnie Mouse as Invisible Woman, Goofy as Human Torch, Donald Duck as the Thing, and more in this inventive recreations of classic Fantastic Four covers. Starting in July, the DISNEY WHAT IF? FANTASTIC FOUR HOMAGE VARIANT COVERS will be featured monthly on issues of Ryan North and Humberto Ramos’ new run of Fantastic Four, and today, fans can see the final six covers in the program, to be featured on Fantastic Four #1-6.

 

The new covers reimagine moments from a range of Fantastic Four eras, including Jack Kirby’s legendary cover for Fantastic Four #49, part of the team’s first showdown against Galactus! Other homages include Joe Sinnott’s Fantastic Four #217 cover, featuring H.E.R.B.I.E.; John Byrne’s Fantastic Four #252 cover; John Romita's front and back covers for Marvel Treasury Edition #2; and another piece by Kirby that was featured on Fantastic Four: The Lost Adventure #1.

 

The DISNEY WHAT IF? FANTASTIC FOUR HOMAGE VARIANT COVERS celebrate the history of the Fantastic Four during a monumental year for Marvel’s First Family. In addition to the release of Marvel Studios’ highly anticipated The Fantastic Four: First Steps film on July 25, the Fantastic Four are undergoing major developments in ONE WORLD UNDER DOOM, a new comic event that kicked off last month, that will lead into an all-new era by writer Ryan North and artist Humberto Ramos in Fantastic Four #1 this July.
