Red Sonja es creada por Robert E. Howard de su universo de guerreros, ella proviene de Hyrkania, la llaman Sonja la roja no solo por su cabellera escarlata, es por toda la sangre que ha derramado su espada.
¿De qué viene?
En RedSonja #16 Sonja debe cumplir con su cargo como Master of War de Khitai y las nuevas órdenes del rey Ja'Khan es conquistar la montaña de Vendhya, que carece de importancia estratégica, solo es un capricho. Lo peor es que el ejército que le asignan son todos niños de 12 años, lo cual es una tradición cruel en Khitai.
Red Sonja encuentra a un aliado a Zo'ran, quien le explica cómo ha funcionado el ejercito de Khitai por años.
Red Sonja llega hasta el castillo en Vendhya con su ejército de niños, pero en el sitio prepara una estrategia al mejor estilo del Caballo de Troya, de manera que las pérdidas de vidas sean mínimas.
Con el fuerte tomado, están tranquilos porque tienen suministros en este castillo para soportar tres meses, hasta que un movimiento insurgente los quema todo, por lo que ahora Sonja debe preparar una nueva estrategia de ataque.
Sonja y Zo'ran empiezan a tener una relación más cercana.
Este capitulo esta lleno de acción, apoyado de una trama interesante con buenas dosis de suspenso, Mark Russel y Bob Q logran de nuevo otro excelente capítulo de este nuevo volumen de Red Sonja.
Resumen
Red Sonja se encuentra del lado equivocado de la historia al apoyar al tirano Ja'khan, por lo que debe usar su cerebro antes que sus músculos para poder seguir ayudando a Hyrkania.

Red Sonja is created by Robert E. Howard from her universe of warriors, she comes from Hyrkania, they call her Red Sonja not only for her hair, it is for all the blood that her sword has shed.
What does it come from?
In RedSonja # 16 Sonja must fulfill her position as Khitai's Master of War and King Ja'Khan's new orders is to conquer Vendhya Mountain, which it hasn't strategic importance, it is only a whim. The worst thing is that the army assigned to her are all 12-year-old children, which is a cruel tradition in Khitai.
Red Sonja finds an ally with Zo'ran, who explains her how the Khitai army has worked for years.
What's going on?
Red Sonja arrives at the castle in Vendhya with her army of children, but on the site she prepares a strategy in the best Trojan Horse style, so that the loss of life is minimal.
With the fort taken, they are calm because they have supplies in this castle to withstand three months, until an insurgent movement burns them all, so now Sonja must prepare a new attack strategy.
Sonja and Zo'ran begin to have a closer relationship.
This chapter is full of action, supported by an interesting plot with a good dose of suspense, Mark Russel and Bob Q again achieve another excellent chapter in this new Red Sonja volume.
Summary
Red Sonja is on the wrong side of the story by supporting the tyrant Ja'khan, so she must use her brain before her muscles in order to continue helping Hyrkania
