La nación mutante de Krakoa se ha convertido rápidamente en una fuerza importante en el escenario mundial ... pero ¿por qué detenerse allí? Krakoa ha relanzado el Sentient World Observation & Response Directorate, una organización totalmente independiente que se ocupa de todo lo extraterrestre en nombre de toda la Tierra. Al Ewing y Valerio Schitti, el equipo detrás de EMPYRE, nos traen la historia de Mutantkind que busca hacer por la galaxia lo que Krakoa hizo por el planeta.
¿Qué sucede?
Magneto visita Peak, SWORD STATION ONE, la estación de SWORD que activo Krakoa, por lo que el mundo sera defendido por mutantes. La directora vuelve a ser Abigail Brand.
Abigail actualiza a Magneto sobre el funcionamiento y estado de esta estación, ya que Magneto representa el Consejo de Krakoa, sobretodo la cantidad de reuniones diplomáticas con otros planetas.
Un misterioso dispositivo que desean robar despierta la atención de Brand, mostrando a Magneto que la nueva S.W.O.R.D esta preparada para todo.
Arte y Trama
El arte de Schiti mezcla muy bien la ciencia ficción con el universo mutante, es una mezcla orgánica, la historia apenas se desarrolla pero promete ir mas allá de los mutantes.

Where does it come from?
ONE GIANT LEAP FOR MUTANTKIND!
The Mutant nation of Krakoa has quickly become a major force on the world stage... but why stop there? Krakoa has relaunched the Sentient World Observation & Response Directorate - a fully independent organization dealing with all things extra-terrestrial on behalf of all of Earth. Al Ewing and Valerio Schitti, the team behind EMPYRE, bring us the tale of Mutantkind looking to do for the galaxy what Krakoa did for the planet.
What's going on?
Magneto visits Peak, SWORD STATION ONE, the SWORD station that activated Krakoa, so the world will be defended by mutants. The director is again Abigail Brand.
Abigail updates Magneto on the operation and status of this station, since Magneto represents the Council of Krakoa, especially the number of diplomatic meetings with other planets.
A mysterious device they wish to steal sparks Brand's attention, showing Magneto that the new S.W.O.R.D is ready for anything.
Art and Plot
Schiti's art mixes science fiction with the mutant universe very well, it is an organic mixture, the story hardly unfolds but promises to go beyond mutants.
