Sinopsis:

Trama 

El reino de Vestfold, ha desatado la guerra contra sus vecinos por órdenes del autoproclamado líder, el Obispo Thord Varg, quien necesita una gema de la princesa Alaberta, cuya muerte es adjudicada a Red Sonja.

Red Sonja se rinde ante los mercenarios de Varg para que no muera más gente inocente controlada por la magia del Obispo, pero se libera y la gente que está controlada se enciende en llamas y se liberan para ayudar a Red Sonja a escapar.

La gema que Alaberta le dio a Red Sonja para que cuidara antes de morir es una llave para el más allá, Varg la desea.

Red Sonja llega hasta el reino vecino de Velanger, para avisar que el ejército avasallador de Vestfold, los va a atacar. 

Varg le habla a Red Sonja a través de dos jóvenes, le pdie la gema o va a destruir todo, pero una sacerdotisa le muestra cómo romper el hechizo, usando agua bendita y le explica que Alaberta usó la gema cuando estaba por dar a luz para pedirle un deseo. Cuando usas la gema luego le debes algo.

El ataque de Vestfold comienza y lanzan a las personas que no le hicieron juramento a Varg con catapultas, este momento es épico.

Este cómic sigue mezclando en el perfecto balance terror sobrenatural, suspenso y luchas de espadas  con momentos impactantes. Torunn sigue elevando la historia con un tono de mitología nórdica.

Arte 

Posee texturas que le brinda a los detalles un toque retro/vintage que resalta el dinamismo interesante y una paleta de colores calidas hacia el rojo y amarillo que le da un tono dinamico. Las secuencias de peleas son impresionantes.

Plot

The kingdom of Vestfold has unleashed war against its neighbors on the orders of the self-proclaimed leader, Bishop Thord Varg, who needs a gem from Princess Alaberta, whose death is attributed to Red Sonja. Red Sonja surrenders to Varg's mercenaries so that no more innocent people controlled by the Bishop's magic will die, but she breaks free and the people being controlled catch fire and break free to help Red Sonja escape. The gem Alaberta gave to Red Sonja to take care of before she died is a key to the afterlife, Varg desires it. Red Sonja arrives at the neighboring kingdom of Velanger, to warn that the overwhelming army of Vestfold is going to attack them. Varg speaks to Red Sonja through two young people, ask him for the gem or he will destroy everything, but a priestess shows him how to break the spell, using holy water and explains that Alaberta used the gem when she was about to give birth to make a wish When you use the gem then you owe it something. The Vestfold attack begins and they launch the people who didn't swear an oath to Varg with catapults, this moment is epic.

This comic continues to mix supernatural terror, suspense and sword fights with shocking moments in the perfect balance. Torunn continues to elevate the story with a tone of Norse mythology. Art It has textures that give the details a retro/vintage touch that highlights the interesting dynamism and a warm color palette towards red and yellow that gives it a dynamic tone. The fight sequences are impressive.
