¿De qué viene?
En este penúltimo número, las frustraciones de Helen continúan agravándose a medida que su consumo de alcohol empeora y su anhelo por las costumbres del otro mundo de fantasía continúa plagando la casa de Wyndhorn.

Trama
Thomas Roger escribió un libro sobre la trágica vida de C.K Cole, basado en la entrevista que le hizo a Lilith Appleton, la ama de llaves que se encargó de Helen cuando su padre se suicidó, todo está narrado por Lilith.
Helen cae de nuevo en una profunda depresión como cuando llegó, el rechazo de su abuelo Barnabas Cole a seguir estas aventuras en este mundo fantástico es insoportable.
Helen se refugia en el alcohol y Lilith con desesperación ve cómo ella desciende hacia la locura, Helen de nuevo le pide que le acompañe a dormir, su dolor e inseguridad son profundos.
Una mañana Helen sale temprano al bosque y Lilith la sigue, ella la lleva hasta el mundo en el bosque, pero primero deben hablar con la bruja Chronos, a quien Helen le entrega su diente, pero ella lo rechaza y se burla de ella, Helen sin pensarlo la asesina a sangre fría, Lilith horrorizado presencia esto.
Barnabas llega en la noche pidiendo explicaciones a Helen, pero ella le responde que de igual manera como la abandonó a ella hizo lo mismo con su padre y por eso se suicidó. Helen quiere causar caos para llamar la atención de su abuelo.
Lilith decide intervenir con Barnabas cuando Heleln le revela que se quiere quitar la vida, Lilith advierte a Barnabas que es responsable de este dolor en su nieta y que toda esas batallas en otro mundo son su excusa para darle la espalda, esta conversación sacude la moral de Barnabas.
Este penúltimo episodio se adentra en las enfermedades mentales y como el dolor se puede convertir en un arma, este cómic trasciende en narrar una historia fantástica, es una carta de amor sobre lo compleja y delicada que es la paternidad.
Arte
Es muy orgánico y lleno de detalles hipnotizantes, cada panel te transporta a la década de 1940 con mucho realismo pero al mismo tiempo lo balancea con elementos fantásticos geniales. Aunque el cómic está dibujado, parece que fuese pintado en óleo, es impresionante el nivel artístico de esta serie.

In this penultimate issue, Helen’s frustrations continue to exacerbate as her drinking worsens and her longing for the ways of the other fantasy world continue to plague the house of Wyndhorn.

Plot
Thomas Roger wrote a book about the tragic life of C.K Cole, based on the interview he did with Lilith Appleton, the housekeeper who took care of Helen when her father committed suicide, everything is narrated by Lilith.
Helen falls back into a deep depression as when she arrived, the refusal of her grandfather Barnabas Cole to follow these adventures in this fantastic world is unbearable for her.
Helen takes refuge in alcohol and Lilith desperately sees how she descends into madness, Helen again asks her to accompany her to sleep, her pain and insecurity are deep.
One morning Helen goes out early to the forest and Lilith follows her, she takes her to the world in the forest, but first they must speak with the witch Chronos, to whom Helen gives her tooth, but she rejects it and mocks her, Helen without thinking kills her in cold blood, Lilith horrified witnesses this.
Barnabas arrives at night asking Helen for explanations, but she tells him that just as he abandoned her, he did the same with his father and that's why he committed suicide. Helen wants to cause chaos to get her grandfather's attention.
Lilith decides to intervene with Barnabas when Helen reveals that she wants to take her life, Lilith warns Barnabas that he is responsible for this pain in his granddaughter and that all those battles in another world are his excuse to turn his back on her, this conversation shakes Barnabas' morale.
This penultimate episode delves into mental illness and how pain can become a weapon, this comic transcends in telling a fantastic story, it is a love letter about how complex and delicate parenthood is.
Art
It is very organic and full of mesmerizing details, each panel transports you to the 1940s with a lot of realism but at the same time balances it with great fantastic elements. Although the comic is drawn, it seems to be painted in oil, the artistic level of this series is impressive.
Summary
Helen tries to get her grandfather Barnabas' attention in the most violent way she can think of, painful and moving penultimate episode
