Ghost Machine Productions lanza REDCOAT un nuevo personaje que lo conocimos en los dos especiales GEIGER 80-PAGE GIANT #1 (2022) y GHOST MACHINE #1 ONE-SHOT (2024), del escritor Geoff Johns, el artista Bryan Hitch, que narra las aventuras de un casi héroe de guerra que forma parte del universo de los UNNAMED que incluye a Geiger y Junkyard Joe.

¿De qué viene?

¡Saludos, colega! Soy Simon Pure, el soldado inmortal, pícaro y apuesto, cuyas divertidas aventuras sin duda has estado siguiendo. Por desgracia, no puedo, en conciencia, contarte mucho sobre este capítulo de mi sórdido pasado. Y menos aún antes de que descubras la espectacular sorpresa del número 15… bueno, mejor lo dejo ahí.

Trama

Albert Einstein está molesto con la credulidad de Simón respecto a la promesa se Benedict Arnold de poder otorgarle a ambos y a sus familiares la inmortalidad.

Simón le pide a Albert que sigan el juego de Arnold, porque aunque sabe que los está manipulando hay la posibilidad de que cumpla su palabra, porque si los hubiera querido matar ya lo hubiese intentado.

Benedict lleva a Simón y a Albert al tesoro escondido de Paul Revere, un importante precursor que por su falta de deseo de poder y convertirse en un Padre Fundador despertó la desconfianza en todos menos en George Washington quien le ofreció la inmortalidad, Revere es brutalmente asesinado y en sus diarios está el ritual de inmortalidad.

Cuando Benedict consigue el diario, la habitación se inunda y la secta de los Founding Fathers se llevan a Benedict, mientras Simón rescata a Albert.

Este nuevo arco sigue aumentando el nivel de tensión y misterio mientras sigue mezclando la historia real de la independencia de EE.UU con teorías conspirativas escalofriantes

Arte

Bryan Hitch ofrece su visión cinematográfica, dónde dirige secuencias de acción hipnotizantes y captura los detalles y tonos de cada época de antaño. Los colores crean la atmósfera perfecta que te transporta a principios del siglo XX.

Tiene un manejo de las escalas hipnotizante, transporta y te sacude con visiones realistas impactantes en un formato muy parecido al cinematográfico.

Resumen

Simón y Albert le dan el beneficio de la duda a Benedict, pero su cabeza está en la mira de la secta responsable de la inmortalidad

Alas, I cannot in good conscience tell you much about this chapter of my sordid past. Least of all before you spy issue #15’s surprise so spectacular…well, I’d best leave it at that

Plot

Albert Einstein is annoyed by Simon's gullibility regarding Benedict Arnold's promise to grant them and their families immortality.

Simon asks Albert to play along with Arnold, because even though he knows Arnold is manipulating them, there's a chance he might keep his word. If he truly wanted to kill them, he would have tried by now.

Benedict leads Simon and Albert to the hidden treasure of Paul Revere, an important precursor whose lack of ambition for power and his refusal to become a Founding Father aroused suspicion in everyone except George Washington, who offered him immortality. Revere is brutally murdered, and his diaries contain the ritual for immortality.

When Benedict obtains the diary, the room floods, and the Founding Fathers sect abducts him, while Simon rescues Albert.

This new arc continues to escalate the tension and mystery while blending the true history of American independence with chilling conspiracy theories.

Art

Bryan Hitch delivers his cinematic vision, directing mesmerizing action sequences and capturing the details and tones of each bygone era. The colors create the perfect atmosphere, transporting you to the early 20th century.

His mesmerizing use of scale transports and shakes you with striking, realistic visions in a format very close to cinematic.

Summary

Simon and Albert give Benedict the benefit of the doubt, but his head is in the crosshairs of the sect responsible for immortality.

¿De qué viene?

¿LOS CUATRO FANTÁSTICOS ULTIMATE? Ahora que los Ultimates están usando el Motor Immortus a su máximo potencial, el sueño de Doom de los Cuatro Fantásticos Definitivos podría finalmente hacerse realidad...

Trama

Muestran como Reed Richards de este universo alterno fue torturado por The Maker, que es otra versión de Reed Richards, para convertirlo en Doctor Doom. The Maker lo humillaba constantemente y lo tenia como su esclavo.

Doom ve la posibilidad de cambiar el pasado para recrear a los Cuatro Fantásticos, ya que The Maker los elino uno por uno al jugar con el tiempo. El dolor de Doom lo lleva a crear el Project 4, donde reúne a varios candidatos potenciales de convertirse en los Cuatro Fantásticos, sus pruebas comenzaron con ratones y luego con humanos al aplicarles radiación cósmica de manera artificial.

Doom quiere formar este equipo para vencer a Maker.

Este comic es narrado en diferentes momentos de la vida de Reed/Doom, donde el pasado y presente se mezclan. 

Doom se despide de los Ultimates para formar su equipo, Tony Stark lo entiende, aunque al estar fusionado con el Immortus Engine le hace adivinar el futuro sus conversaciones son complejas. 

Reed/Doom ligra su maxima venganza, recrear a los Cuatro Fantásticos y de alguna manera revertir lo que hizo Maker.

Son trazas firmes que muestran todo con detalle, el arte de Noto posee una impronta única que respeta los diseños clásicos de todos los personajes y al mismo tiempo se sienten actuales.

What does it come from?

THE ULTIMATE FANTASTIC FOUR? Now that the Ultimates are using the Immortus Engine to its full capacity, Doom's dream of the Ultimate Fantastic Four may finally be realized…

Plot

They show how Reed Richards from this alternate universe was tortured by The Maker, another version of Reed Richards, to turn him into Doctor Doom. The Maker constantly humiliated him and kept him as his slave.

Doom sees the possibility of changing the past to recreate the Fantastic Four, as The Maker eliminated them one by one by messing with time. Doom's pain leads him to create Project 4, where he brings together several potential candidates to become the Fantastic Four. His tests began with mice and then with humans by artificially injecting them with cosmic radiation.

Doom wants to form this team to defeat the Maker.

This comic is narrated at different moments in Reed/Doom's life, where the past and present intertwine.

Doom says goodbye to the Ultimates to form his team. Tony Stark understands, although being fused with the Immortus Engine makes him predict the future, making their conversations complex.

Reed/Doom exacts his ultimate revenge, recreating the Fantastic Four and somehow undoing what the Maker did.

Art

With firm lines that show everything in detail, Noto's art has a unique imprint that respects the classic designs of all the characters while still feeling contemporary.

Summary

The tragic story of how the Maker transforms Reed Richards into Doom, but Reed will somehow get revenge

Ghost Machine Productions lanza GEIGER en un nuevo volumen, del escritor Geoff Johns, el artista Gary Frank y el colorista Brad Anderson. Esta serie de cómics tendrá frecuencia mensual y forma parte de la primera ola de cómics de Ghost Machine Productions. La serie sigue las aventuras de Tariq Geiger, el misterioso Hombre Resplandeciente presentado por primera vez en la exitosa serie GEIGER Vol 1 de Johns y Frank, que se lanzó en 2021 y fue publicada por Image Comics. GEIGER también se está desarrollando para televisión en Paramount TV con Justin Simien como director.

¿De qué viene?

Las consecuencias, tanto literales como personales, del enfrentamiento de Geiger con Ashley Arden amenazan con abrumarlo. Luchando por controlar sus inestables poderes, Geiger se aísla antes de herir a nadie más. Pero Tariq es perseguido por una nueva y misteriosa y peligrosa amenaza, una que podría contener el secreto de la Guerra Desconocida que convirtió a Estados Unidos en un páramo nuclear.

Trama

Molotov, Nate y Barney estudian el lugar de la explosión, dónde quedó un cráter con la silueta de Geiger en el piso ardiente, en ese lugar quedaron también sus barras de Boro. Al parecer las células de Tariq están inestables luego de su lucha con Ashley y explotaron, lanzándolo a kilómetros de distancia.

Geiger es atrapado por los hombres de  WREN, el exreo y director autoproclamado de la cárcel Cold Water. En este lugar empieza a interrogar a Geiger sobre un hombre llamado Goldbeard, que escondió un tesoro en esa prisión y desapareció con el secreto.

En el interrogatorio Geiger es golpeado y al recobrar el conocimiento está en una celda y se da cuenta que su piel no brilla y que no necesita las barras de Boro, pero su compañero de celda es peligroso y en su asegura que Geiger es de la pandilla de Goldbeard.

El epílogo muestra los acontecimientos de la búsqueda de Geiger desde el punto de vista de Junkyard Joe, que empieza a activarse de manera aleatoria. Cerca de la carcel Cold Water, la mascota cebra de tres ojos de Nate misteriosamente aumenta de tamaño de la noche a la mañana.

Arte 

Este capítulo incluye el trabajo de los ilustradores Eduardo Pansica y Gary Frank. El primero quien ofrece un arte moderno, lleno de detalles y con un control de la anatomía de los personajes bien proporcionadas, que tiene un tono del género de superhéroe por sus poses pero al mismo tiempo ofrece una impronta original.

Frank  como es de costumbre logra el balance perfecto de un arte sumamente detallado y orgánico con colores claros que no esconde nada. Es hipnotizante cada panel de cada página, cada vez que la aprecias consigues nuevos e increíbles detalles.

La rotulación de Rob Leigh es una explosión de adrenalina onomatopéyica.

Resumen

Geiger está perdido en una prisión misteriosa en el medio de una guerra territoriales de dos ex-reos. Los poderes de Geiger desaparecen de manera misteriosa

What does it come from?

The fallout—both literal and personal—from Geiger’s clash with Ashley Arden threatens to overwhelm him. Struggling to control his unstable powers, Geiger isolates himself before he hurts anyone else. But Tariq is pursued by a mysterious and dangerous new threat—one that may hold the secret to the Unknown War that turned America into a nuclear wasteland.

Plot

Molotov, Nate, and Barney study the site of the explosion, where a crater with Geiger's silhouette remains on the burning floor. His boron rods are also found there. Apparently, Tariq's cells are unstable after his fight with Ashley and exploded, throwing him miles away.

Geiger is captured by WREN's men, the former inmate and self-proclaimed warden of Cold Water Prison. There, he begins interrogating Geiger about a man named Goldbeard, who hid a treasure in the prison and disappeared with the secret.

During the interrogation, Geiger is beaten and when he regains consciousness, he finds himself in a cell and realizes that his skin doesn't glow and that he doesn't need the boron rods. However, his cellmate is dangerous, and he claims that Geiger is part of Goldbeard's gang.

The epilogue shows the events of the search for Geiger from the point of view of Junkyard Joe, who begins to activate randomly. Near Coldwater Prison, Nate's pet three-eyed zebra mysteriously increases in size overnight.

Art

This chapter features the work of illustrators Eduardo Pansica and Gary Frank. The former offers modern art, full of detail and with a well-proportioned control of the characters' anatomy. It has a superhero-like feel due to its poses, but at the same time offers an original touch.

Frank, as usual, achieves the perfect balance of highly detailed and organic art with clear colors that hold nothing back. Every panel on every page is mesmerizing; each time you look at it, you discover new and incredible details.

Rob Leigh's lettering is an onomatopoeic adrenaline rush.

Summary

Geiger is lost in a mysterious prison, in the middle of a turf war between two ex-inmates. Geiger's powers mysteriously disappear.

Trama

Erik y la reina Okoye se enfrentan a un ataque de un grupo que desea tomar unas minas, ambos van al sitio y asistidos por las Dora Milaje detienen la amenaza.

Okoye empieza a tener una atracción física por Erik y le propone que sea el nuevo rey, de una manera muy abrupta, cuando son atacados por los sacerdotes del Vodu-Khan, quienes revela que estaban esperando este momento para controlar Wakanda, ellos están controlados por el vibranium y por siglos han manipulado a todas las generaciones de Panteras Negras, ellos fueron los que crearon a Moon Knight.

Pero Inan,la hechicera Suprema detiene a los Vodu-Khan. Erik se autoproclama como nuevo rey de Wakanda en vista de la grave crisis.

What does it come from?

KILLMONGER VS. THE VODU-KHAN! Black Panther has deputized Erik Killmonger in his absence! But T'Challa's mysterious advisors, the Vodu-Khan, do not trust this interloper! Plus, Queen Okoye reveals truths behind her marriage and her mission…

Plot

Erik and Queen Okoye face an attack from a group that wants to take over some mines. They both go to the site and, assisted by the Dora Milaje, stop the threat.

Okoye begins to have a physical attraction for Erik and proposes that he be the new king, in a very abrupt way, when they are attacked by the Vodu-Khan priests, who reveal that they were waiting for this moment to control Wakanda, they are controlled by vibranium and for centuries they have manipulated all generations of Black Panthers, they were the ones who created Moon Knight.

But Inan, the Supreme Sorceress stops the Vodu-Khan. Erik proclaims himself the new king of Wakanda in view of the serious crisis.

Chapter full of revelations and twists.

Art

It has many textures and unfinished lines that are absorbed by the shadows.

Summary

Okoye reveals his feelings and Erik assumes a powerful political position in the face of the Vodu-Khan's betrayal

¡GUERRA TERRORÍFICA EN NUEVA YORK! ¡LOS SEIS SINIESTRO CONTRA LOS DOS HOMBRES ARAÑA! ¡Las cosas no van bien en Nueva York con los Seis Siniestros en guerra! Por suerte, Spider-Man no se enfrenta solo a esto... ¡Atrapa a Richard Parker con el TRAJE NEGRO!

Trama

Harry Osborn le pide ayuda al Tio Ben para contactar a Peter, le quiere dar un mensaje.

Por otro lado Gwen Stacy es la que siempre ha controlado OSCORP desde el inicio como Mysterio, integrantes de esta secta están infiltrados en todas partes, como Robbie Robertson y Mr Wesley, quienes están ejecutando una agenda secreta.

Gwen le dice a Harry que tienen el amuleto de Mysterio por una semana y que es hora de implementar su plan. Harry por otro lado tiene a Otto trabajando para él en la clandestinidad, quien logró reactivar la A.I con la mente de Norman Osborn cargada, quién está constantemente atacando y menospreciando a Harry, pero esto al parecer hace que Harry se concentre, la complicada relación de ambos llega a niveles de daños psicológicos profundos.

En un ataque a una fábrica clandestina de bombas de Mr Negative que tenía a muchas personas esclavas, Gwen es cruel y hace estallar todo sin saber si Harry logró rescatar a todos los inocentes.

Harry se comunica con Peter y le pide ayuda, porque se está dando cuenta que Gwen lo tiene controlado y que ella tiene un plan macabro, en estos momentos ella es dueña de OSCORP por ser su "viuda", tiene a toda la ciudad infiltrada, su nivel de poder es grande, superando a Kingpin. Harry ha estado cuidando del apartamento de Peter, ordenando a Otto que cree un sistema de protección especial. Otto también está empezando a construir una nueva arma misteriosa.

Magnífica nueva entrega que eleva los niveles de suspenso y tensión, donde la revelación de la identidad de Gwen Stacy cambia totalmente todo.

Arte

Es muy orgánico con algunas texturas, que parecen tener cierta influencia asiática, posee mucho brillo.

Resumen

Harry Osborn empieza a descubrir quién es en verdad su esposa y teme por la vida de todos.

Esta saga no deja de mejorar con cada nuevo capítulo

Plot

Harry Osborn asks Uncle Ben for help contacting Peter; he wants to deliver a message.

Meanwhile, Gwen Stacy, who has controlled OSCORP from the beginning, is Mysterio. Members of this cult are infiltrated everywhere, such as Robbie Robertson and Mr. Wesley, who are executing a secret agenda.

Gwen tells Harry that they have Mysterio's amulet for a week and that it's time to implement their plan. Harry, on the other hand, has Otto working for him in secret. He managed to reactivate the AI ​​with Norman Osborn's mind uploaded. Osborn is constantly attacking and belittling Harry, but this apparently focuses Harry, and their complicated relationship reaches levels of deep psychological damage.

It's very organic, with some textures that seem to have an Asian influence, and it's very shiny.

Summary

Harry Osborn begins to discover who his wife really is and fears for everyone's lives.This saga keeps improving with each new chapter.
