Plot

The comic is narrated by Mr Fantastic in his mind, as he is in a vegetative state after the battle with Galactus. This comic focuses on showing that the Fantastic Four represent a bastion of freedom and an inspiration for past, present and future generations.The team up of several generations of heroes needs their individual Life Story treatment.

The battle sequence with Doctor Doom is epic and sets up his true plan to take over the world.

This story closes in our century in a moving way, showing this quartet in the twilight of their lives remembering their successes, failures and sacrifices. Richards' final message to his family is beautiful.

This Life Story of the Fantastic Four is brilliant and deep.

Art

The art is mind-boggling and balances two visions from two brilliant artists, both full of detail.The colors are handled between cold and warm, but all always towards the blue palette, especially the scenes of Reed Richards.  

Summary

The closure of this well-orchestrated story that mixes the mythology of the Fantastic Four with our busy contemporary history, where each historical attack is "marvelized"

Silver Surfer revela que Zenn-La se salvó porque el se ofreció a Galactus como heraldo para salvar a su pueblo y Galactus le está ofreciendo a Richards el mismo trato, pero lo rechaza.

Los dos últimos años Richards se dedicó a vivir con su familia, nietos y los Cuatro Fantásticos se tomaron unas vacaciones y cuando llegó la fecha Franklin usa un dispositivo wakandiano que amplía sus poderes mentales con una tecnología que usa la energía de Galactus y así acaban con su cerebro y salvan al planeta y a otros planetas que en un futuro iban a ser devorados.

Reed Richards quedan en estado vegetal y se preparan para llegar al año 2010, su década final.

Este cómic es una obra maestra, la historia se siente muy real así como los motivos y sacrificios de estos héroes.

Este cómic destaca el dolor y frustración de Reed, Sue, Franklin y Ben, por lo tanto las expresiones faciales son clave.

Against the backdrop of the freewheeling 1990s, Ben Grimm reflects on love and loss as the Fantastic Four prepare to do battle against Galactus.

Plot

It is the year 2002, there are only 4 years until the arrival of Galactus, the entire planet is resigned to its fateful end, Reed Richards continues to try to get a weak point, but fails to discover anything.

Silver Surfer reveals that Zenn-La was saved because he offered himself to Galactus as a herald to save the town from him and Galactus is offering Richards the same deal, but he declines.

The last two years Richards dedicated himself to living with his family, grandchildren and the Fantastic Four took a vacation and when the date arrived Franklin uses a Wakandan device that expands his mental powers with a technology that uses the energy of Galactus and thus ends with their brain and save the planet and other planets that in the future were going to be devoured.

Reed Richards are left in a vegetable state and are preparing to reach the year 2010, his final decade.

This comic is a masterpiece, the story feels very real as well as the motives and sacrifices of these heroes.

Art

This comic highlights the pain and frustration of Reed, Sue, Franklin and Ben, therefore facial expressions are key.

Summary

Galactus is a seemingly unstoppable threat but he hasn't faced the Fantastic Four.

Trama

El cómic es narrado por Ben Grimm en la década de 1990, donde todo es mucho más relajado, la guerra fria termino, ya no hacen falta armas y Tony Stark crea energía verde, Wakanda ofrece la vacuna contra el SIDA, todo está lleno de esperanza, menos Reed que sigue preparándose para la venida de Galactus.

Sin embargo la pérdida de Johnny todavía tiene muy tristes a todo el equipo, pero Sue ya se separaron de Namor, Franklin se va a casar, todos evolucionan y Ben finalmente consigue a una persona que lo entiende, Alice.

Finalmente llega Silver Surfer y les explica que la Tierra no está preparada para Galactus en unos años, esto causa el desespero y tristeza en Reed.

La secuencia de como Reed se mantiene joven usando la elasticidad de su piel es una idea brillante.

Este es uno de los capítulos más conmovedores y narrados de la manera más divertida.

De nuevo se destaca adaptando con precisión una década, desde la cultura, hasta las vestimentas, las secuencias de Silver Surfer son brillantes y aterradoras.

What does it come from?

The comic is narrated by Ben Grimm in the 1990s, where everything is much more relaxed, the cold war is over, weapons are no longer needed and Tony Stark creates green energy, Wakanda offers the AIDS vaccine, everything is full of hope, even though Reed continues to prepare for the arrival of Galactus.

However, the loss of Johnny still has the whole team very sad, but Sue has already separated from Namor, Franklin is getting married, everyone evolves and Ben finally gets a person who understands him, Alice.

Finally Silver Surfer arrives and explains that the Earth is not ready for Galactus in a few years, this causes despair and sadness in Reed.

The sequence of how Reed stays young using the elasticity of his skin is brilliant.

This is one of the most moving chapters and narrated in the most fun way.

Art

Once again stands out by precisely tailoring a decade, from culture to costumes, Silver Surfer sequences are brilliant and terrifying.

Summary

Although the 90s were a hopeful decade, the threat from Galactus is increasingly imminent.

¡La historia en tiempo real de los Cuatro Fantásticos continúa!

En una historia ambientada en la década de 1980, Reed crea una empresa para defender la Tierra de Galactus, pero ¿sus planes serán descarrilados por la Guerra Fría? Sue y Johnny están invitados a hablar con las Naciones Unidas sobre salvar el mundo. Y un genio informático inconformista ofrece esperanza a la humanidad con su nueva compañía informática, pero ¿es esperanza todo lo que ofrece?

Trama

El cómic comienza en 1984 con Reed Richards y Tony Stark fundando a la empresa STRATEGIC DEFENSE INITIATIVE con el objetivo de detener el venidero ataque de Galactus, para eso intentan convencer al Presidente Ronald Reagan, pero quieren que el proyecto tenga un fin político para las elecciones y la guerra fria, Richards se molesta y se retira. 

El gobierno de EE.UU copia esta idea de un escudo de misiles alrededor del Planeta y la llama STAR WARS y se la entrega al misterioso Doctor Santini que es en realidad el villano The Mad Thinker, él aprovecha y libera a  Victor Von Doom para formar un equipo.

Por otro lado Sue le pide el divorcio a Reed y vive tranquila con Namor, Johnny sirve como el puente entre esta relación y a su vez sirve del tío divertido para Franklin que acaba de tener una explosión de su poder psíquico que no pudo controlar.

The Mad Thinker activa el sistema de misiles STAR WARS y los lanza para objetivos dentro de EE.UU, generando un caos que los Cuatro Fantásticos juntos de nuevo logran solventar,menos un último misil que  Johnny logra detener antes de que llegue a Nueva York pero muere por la explosion, asi se pierde un integrante de esta familia en 1989.

 

Así cierra otra década impactante de la historia de esta familia en tiempo real, mientras esperan la llegada de Galactus, ahora que estan mas viejos y con un integrante menos.

Arte 

SEAN IZAAKSE sigue asombrando con su arte logrando captar la esencia de cada década que dura cada comic. La secuencia de Johnny deteniendo el misil les romperá el corazón.

The real-time story of the Fantastic Four continues!

In a story set in the 1980s, Reed hatches a venture to defend the Earth from Galactus, but will his plans be derailed by the Cold War? Sue and Johnny are invited to speak to the United Nations about saving the world. And a maverick computer genius offers hope to humanity with his new computer company, but is hope all he's offering?

Plot

The comic begins in 1984 with Reed Richards and Tony Stark founding the company STRATEGIC DEFENSE INITIATIVE with the aim of stopping the coming Galactus attack, for that they try to convince President Ronald Reagan, but they want the project to have a political end for the elections and the cold war, Richards is upset and retires.

The US government copies this idea of ​​a missile shield around the planet and calls it STAR WARS and gives it to the mysterious Doctor Santini who is actually the villain The Mad Thinker, he takes advantage and frees Victor Von Doom to form a team.

On the other hand Sue asks Reed for a divorce and lives quietly with Namor, Johnny serves as the bridge between this relationship and in turn serves as the funny uncle for Franklin who has just had an explosion of his psychic power that he could not control.

The Mad Thinker activates the STAR WARS missile system and launches them for targets within the US, creating chaos that the Fantastic Four together again manage to solve, minus one last missile that Johnny manages to stop before it reaches New York but dies from the explosion, a member of this family is lost in 1989.

 

Thus closes another impressive decade in the history of this family in real time, while they await the arrival of Galactus, now that they are older and with one less member.

SEAN IZAAKSE continues to amaze with his art, capturing the essence of each decade that each comic shows. The sequence of Johnny stopping the missile will break your heart.

The 1980s manages to unite this team / family fragmented by pain, but it also takes one of its members

Sue continues to fight for social causes while Reed becomes increasingly obsessed with preparing for the impending arrival of Galactus, creating tension within the Four.

Plot

It's the 1970s, the world is in turmoil, social movements are flourishing, and heroes are beginning to do what seems right to them, but no one yet believes Reed Richards that Galactus exists.

This comic is narrated from the point of view of Sue Storm, who has just had Franklin and is staying at home taking care of her baby while Reed, Ben and Johnny continue to work as a team and do not include her in anything, she lives the injustice of the machismo of the time, that is why the movement to fight for the rights of women began to form part of her life.

Este capítulo narra en la década de 1960, mezclando hechos históricos reales con la mitología original de estos héroes creados por Stan Lee y Jack Kirby donde Reed Richards intenta cumplir el sueño de la NASA al lanzar con éxito el primer cohete al espacio, pero usando su revolucionario combustible de antimateria. Sue Storm, Johnny Storm y Ben Grimm se preparan para el viaje de sus vidas.

La icónica creación de Stan Lee y Jack Kirby, a la que se le atribuye el inicio de la histórica Edad de Plata de Marvel Comics, ha protagonizado algunas de las aventuras de cómics más memorables de todos los tiempos, y ahora su ilustre saga se presentará de una manera radicalmente nueva.
 
Escrito por el aclamado escritor Mark Russell (Second Coming, Wonder Twins) y dibujado por Sean Izaakse (Fantastic Four, Avengers No Road Home), FANTASTIC FOUR: LIFE STORY se escribirá con el mismo enfoque que la exitosa serie de Chip Zdarsky y Mark Bagley,SPIDER-MAN: LIFE STORY.

FANTASTIC FOUR: LIFE STORY contará la historia completa de los Cuatro Fantásticos de principio a fin, en contraste con los eventos clave de las décadas a través de las cuales se publicaron sus historias.
 
FANTASTIC FOUR: LIFE STORY # 1 tendrá lugar en los "Sesenta" cuando Reed, Ben, Sue y Johnny emprendieron ese fatídico viaje al espacio que cambió para siempre el rostro de la narración de cómics. Con el telón de fondo de la Guerra Fría y la Carrera Espacial, se produce un terrible accidente que les otorga grandes poderes y un terrible secreto, que los enreda en la historia de la Tierra para siempre mientras se transforman en el equipo de superhéroes más importante del mundo.

THE FANTASTIC FOUR REMAKE THEIR HISTORY IN FANTASTIC FOUR: LIFE STORY

In the tradition of SPIDER-MAN: LIFE STORY, Writer Mark Russell and artist Sean Izaakse explore the 60 year history of Fantastic Four

 

New York, NY— February 3, 2021 — The Fantastic Four celebrates its 60th anniversary this year. The iconic Stan Lee and Jack Kirby creation, credited with kicking off Marvel Comics’ historic Silver Age, have starred in some of the most memorable comic book adventures of all time, and now their illustrious saga will be presented in a radical new way in FANTASTIC FOUR: LIFE STORY.

 

Written by acclaimed writer Mark Russell (Second Coming, Wonder Twins) and drawn by Sean Izaakse (Fantastic Four, Avengers No Road Home) , FANTASTIC FOUR: LIFE STORY will be written in the same approach as Chip Zdarsky and Mark Bagley’s hit series, SPIDER-MAN: LIFE STORY. FANTASTIC FOUR: LIFE STORY will tell the entire history of the Fantastic Four from beginning to end, set against the key events of the decades through which their stories were published.

 

FANTASTIC FOUR: LIFE STORY #1 will take place in the “Swinging Sixties” when Reed, Ben, Sue, and Johnny took that fateful journey to space that changed the face of comic book storytelling forever. Against the backdrop of the Cold War and the Space Race, a terrible accident occurs that gives them great powers and a terrible secret, entangling them in Earth’s history forever as they transform into the world’s premiere super hero team.

 

“What I’ve always loved about the Fantastic Four is how it reduces the cosmic struggle of human survival to the scale of a family squabble while treating personal relationships as a matter of truly galactic importance,” Russell said. “Weaving their story and their world into our story and what’s happened in our world over the last sixty years was an important reminder to me of how smart it is to approach life like that.”

 

“Working on a story about Marvel’s First Family is not only an honor in itself, but what makes it even more so, is being part of the team that gets to tell such a moving and heartfelt story about these iconic characters, their struggles and triumphs in a new way that draws on what has come before,” Izaakse said. "If I do my job right, this story will be one that Fantastic Four fans will remember for a long, long time.”
