In Empress # 2 we were in the climactic scene when everyone just been tele-transported in an ice planet with a giant monster lurking, obviously this is solved with an impressive action sequence where Dane., the bodyguard, demonstrates how lethal and clever is he.
Aine suspects that her mother's real reason to escape it's because she's in love with her bodyguard Dane, while Adam shows her happiness about being away from his cruel father, whom his terrible temper is shown.
The fast and intense pace that brought Empress # 1 and # 2 are beginning to calm, to show the breadth of history, it means that we enter the peak phase, which will begin with many revelations. The tele-transport method used by Emporia, Aine, Adam, Puck, Dane and Tor could become obsolete, promising an interesting change in history.
This comic shows the artistic versatility of Stuart Immonem, since for each planet they visit with teleportation, exists fauna, flora and a characteristic landscape, nothing is repeated, everything has its own essence, a magnificent artistic display.
The plot of Mark Millar reaches its peak point where begin to reveal important aspects, of course with suspense that keeps us on the edge of the seat (where we are reading the comic).
