El 18 de marzo de 2020 la nueva editorial de cómics Artists, Writers & Artisans, integrada por Axel Alonso (Ex Editor en Jefe de Marvel Comics) y Bill Jemas (Ex Vice Presidente de Marvel Comics), quienes fungen como CCO y Editor respectivamente, lanza un grupo espectacular de cómics con equipos creativos impresionantes.
¿De qué viene?
Cuando una joven pareja mexicana de clase media es perseguida por el Cartel de Juárez, no le queda otra opción que cruzar la frontera hacia Texas, son rescatados por un misterioso personaje local que los lleva a la seguridad del rancho de su familia, la pareja pronto se da cuenta de que sus anfitriones tienen algo más que esqueletos en su armario, y el ejército de asesinos que los persigue podría ser el menor de sus problemas.

¿Qué sucede?
Llegan a este rancho de Raymond, quien los había salvado usando su rifle con terrible precisión.
En este lugar, Colby y su hermano Junior les explican lo peligroso que es ser un inmigrante en esa zona, que es peligroso para ellos salir. También conocemos a la madre y al padre de esta familia, todos muy amables pero con conversaciones y preguntas muy raras.
Eduardo empieza a desconfiar de la amabilidad cuando ve como Idolatran un cuadro de la batalla del Álamo dónde muchos mexicanos fueron brutalmente asesinados.
Cuando finalmente Karina y Eduardo deciden escapar se consiguen con una revelación...

When a young, middle-class Mexican couple targeted for death by the Juarez Cartel flee across the border into Texas, they wander into a house of horrors beyond their wildest imagination. Rescued by a mysterious local who takes them to the safety of his family’s ranch, the couple soon realize their hosts have more than just skeletons in their closet, and the army of assassins on their trail might be the least of their problems.
In Red Border # 1 Karina and Eduardo get Tito and a mysterious savior named Colby Raymond who takes them to a ranch in Texas. Both are rescued from the attack by Chief Xavier's hitmen.
What's going on?
They arrive at this ranch from Raymond, who had saved them using his rifle with terrible precision.
In this place, Colby and his brother Junior explain how dangerous it is to be an immigrant in that area, that it is crazy for them to leave. We also know the mother and father of this family, all very friendly but with very rare questions.
Eduardo begins to mistrust the kindness when he sees how they idolize a painting of the Battle of the Alamo where many Mexicans were brutally murdered.
When Karina and Eduardo finally decide to escape, they discover sometihing terrifying....
