AWA Studios Competes with Marvel and DC in the March 2020 Sales Charts

Artists, Writers & Artisans (AWA Studios) is thrilled to announce that J. Michael Straczynski & Mike Deodato Jr.’s The Resistance debuted at #65 on the Diamond’s March 2020 sales charts with 26,095 sales. As part of our very first print run as a new publisher, The Resistance overcame the odds stacked against it in a packed marketplace to compete with some of the biggest titles currently available, launching as only 1 of 7 titles outside of Marvel, DC, and Image to land inside the top 100 listings.

The combined launch of AWA Studios first titles (Archangel 8, Hotell, Red Border, The Resistance), as noted by Comichron.com, “debuted in 13th place in dollar share and eighth place in unit share at Diamond.”

We can’t thank all of you enough for the amazing show of support for our launch, and look forward to providing incredible and exciting new stories for years to come.
