Artists, Writers & Artisans es la nueva editorial de cómics impulsada por Axel Alonso (Ex Editor en Jefe de Marvel Comics) y Bill Jemas (Ex Vice Presidente de Marvel Comics), quienes fungen como CCO y Editor respectivamente, con equipos creativos legendarios con el objetivo de hacer los mejores cómics posible sin limitaciones creativas donde los derechos intelectuales son de sus creadores.
¿De qué viene?
J. Michael Straczynski, creador de Babylon5, cocreador de Sense8 y escritor de amadas versiones de The Amazing Spider-Man, Thor y Superman: Earth One, vuelve a los cómics, en equipo con Mike Deodato Jr., el artista de gran éxito de The Amazing Spider-Man, The Incredible Hulk e Infinity Wars. Juntos plantan la bandera de un nuevo universo de héroes y villanos para el siglo XXI. A medida que los gobiernos de todo el mundo presionan a los individuos recién superpoderes, algunos de los llamados "renacidos" se unen para demostrar que no tomarán la opresión acostada. En The Resistance #5 el jefe de inteligencia de EE.UU, Mr Hasburg, fue rescatado por la Resistencia con el objeto de que le dé nombres y lugares alrededor del mundo para que puedan aplicar una estrategia efectiva para empezar a derrocar gobiernos en el planeta. Comienzan con Rusia, en Minsk.
¿Qué sucede?
En este capítulo muestran como Lisa la líder de la resistencia maneja todo lo relacionado con Mr Hasburg, así como todos los superhumanos que conocimos durante 5 capítulos forman parte de la resistencia.
Suzie la hermana gemela de Lisa que tenía el poder de curar fue la que detuvo la enfermedad XV1N1 (Leer The Resistance #1), por lo tanto la enfermedad no la detuvo una inteligencia superior.
Los gobiernos del planeta empiezan a sacar provecho a los superhumanos pero todos concuerdan que la mejor solución es encerrarlos y aislarlos para que no sepan el poder que tienen juntos, que al final muestran un poder especial que se canaliza por Lisa, el odio de todos hacia alguien se materializa en un poder increíble.
Este cómic cierra con un final bastante abierto donde el poder multiplicarse de una muestra de XV1N1 se conecta con el espíritu de Unión de la resistencia alrededor del mundo.
Arte y Trama
El cierre de la historia tiene revelaciones importantes que resuelven dudas sobre la historia y a su vez deja abierto para un próximo capítulo.
Esta serie es sin duda la más ambiciosa, compleja y profunda de la primera ola de AWA, que nos deja con más curiosidad por conocer este basto universo.
El arte de Deodato muestra con éxito el drama, dolor y poder, es un deleite visual que eleva la historia a otro nivel.
Resumen
Este capítulo final de la Resistencia sin duda es el inicio de otra etapa en la compleja historia de superhumanos que han desarrollado con éxito Straczynski y Deodato.

What's it coming from?
A global disaster leaves hundreds of millions dead in its wake. Shortly after, a few thousand suddenly manifest superhuman powers. Born under a cloud, these reborn humans must discover who they are, why they possess such great powers and what, if any, responsibility they bear for the tragedy. Are they harbingers of more tragedy to come…or Earth’s last hope?
In The Resistance #5 the US intelligence chief, Mr Hasburg, was rescued by the Resistance in order to give him names and places around the world so that they can apply an effective strategy to begin to overthrow governments on the planet. They start with Russia, in Minsk.
In this chapter they show how Lisa the leader of the resistance handles everything related to Mr Hasburg, as well as all the superhumans that we met during 5 chapters are part of the resistance.
Suzie, Lisa's twin sister who had the power to heal was the one who stopped XV1N1 disease (check out The Resistance #1), therefore the disease was not stopped by a higher intelligence.
The governments of the planet begin to take advantage of the superhumans but all agree that the best solution is to lock them up and isolate them so that they do not know the power they have together, which in the end show a special power that is channeled through Lisa, everyone's hatred towards someone materializes into incredible power.
This comic closes with a fairly open ending where the multiplying power of a XV1N1 sample connects with the spirit of the resistance around the world.
Art and plot.
The closing of the story has important revelations that resolve doubts about the story and in turn leaves it open for a next chapter.
This series is undoubtedly the most ambitious, complex and profound of the first wave of comics of AWA, which leaves us with more curiosity to know this vast universe.
Deodato's art successfully depicts drama, pain and power, it is a visual delight that elevates the story to another level.
Summary
This final chapter of the Resistance is undoubtedly the beginning of another stage in the complex history of superhumans that Straczynski and Deodato have successfully developed.
