El 18 de marzo de 2020 la nueva editorial de cómics Artists, Writers & Artisans, integrada por Axel Alonso (Ex Editor en Jefe de Marvel Comics) y Bill Jemas (Ex Vice Presidente de Marvel Comics), quienes fungen como CCO y Editor respectivamente.
¿De qué viene?
Ben Percy (Wolverine) y Ramon Rosanas (Star Wars: Age of Resistance) se unen para presentar una historia épica que ofrece una visión global del Apocalipsis Zombie. Un asesino a sueldo japonés, un bandido de la calle mexicano, un ayudante militar afgano, un científico investigador en los polos de la tierra, un superviviente del medio oeste estadounidense, en total cinco sobrevivientes de una horrible epidemia mundial que deben aprovechar sus habilidades únicas y sus más profundos instintos para navegar en un mundo de muertos en guerra. Year Zero lucha con las pesadas cuestiones morales y teológicas planteadas por la pandemia e investiga su causa y posible cura.
Este cómic cierra el Volúmen 1, pero ya anunciaron que en noviembre comienza el Volúmen 2.
¿Qué sucede?
El cómic cierra por separado estas cinco historias de personajes muy diferentes que deben enfrentarse a algo inimaginable, poco a poco los vamos conociendo un poco más.
Sara Lemons - Ártico: Sara es la culpable de descongelar al zombie, ella toma medidas extremas para acabar con este ser, pero lamentablemente el virus se esparció
Daniel Martínez - México: Daniel logra librarse de sus captores con su astucia y usando a muertos vivos, finalmente se libra de ser siempre la víctima.
Saga Watanabe - Tokyo: se enfrenta a su mentor Hideo Nakamura en una excelente batalla de Kendo, Saga fue entrenado como el mejor y su mentor lo sabía.
Fatema Shah- Kabul: logra escapar de la ciudad llena de muertos andantes y soldados insurgentes que la ven como una traidora por servir de traductora al ejército americano, sin embargo por fin ve la luz al final del túnel.
B.J Hool-Burnsville - Minnesota: BJ es engañado por Keith un joven tan nerd como él, al final el destino soluciona la implacable soledad que estaba sobrellevando Bob.
Anécdota Histórica
Nos muestran el primer hombre que se levanta de su tumba al tercer dia.
Resumen
El primer volumen de esta serie cierra por todo lo alto con cinco historias tan interesantes como sus personajes donde el hilo conductor es un apocalipsis de muertos andantes.

Ben Percy (Wolverine) and Ramon Rosanas (Star Wars: Age of Resistance) team up to present an epic tale that offers a global look at the Zombie Apocalypse. A Japanese hitman, a Mexican street urchin, an Afghan military aide, a Polar research scientist, a midwestern American survivalist – five survivors of a horrific global epidemic who must draw upon their unique skills and deepest instincts to navigate a world of shambling dead. Year Zero wrestles with the weighty moral and theological questions posed by the pandemic and investigates its cause and possible cure.
This comic closes Volume 1, but they have already announced that Volume 2 begins in November.
The comic closes separately these five stories of very different characters who must face something unimaginable, little by little we get to know them a little more.
Sara Lemons - Arctic: Sara is guilty of defrosting the zombie, she takes extreme measures to kill this being, but unfortunately the virus is spread
Daniel Martínez - Mexico: Daniel manages to get rid of his captors with his cunning and using the living dead, he finally gets rid of always being the victim.
Saga Watanabe - Tokyo: he faces his mentor Hideo Nakamura in an excellent Kendo battle, Saga was trained as the best and his mentor knew it.
Fatema Shah- Kabul: she manages to escape from the city full of walking dead and insurgent soldiers who see her as a traitor for serving as a translator for the American army, however she finally sees the silver lining.
B.J Hool-Burnsville - Minnesota: BJ is tricked by Keith, a young man as nerdy as him, in the end fate solves the relentless loneliness that Bob was enduring.
Historical Anecdote
They show us the first man to rise from his grave on the third day.
Summary
The first volume closes perfectly these five stories that are as interesting as its characters where the common ground is an apocalypse
