¿Qué sucede?

Five Weapons Society funcionó por muchos años bajo el mandato de su líder Zheng Zhu, hasta que su hijo predilecto acabó con su hegemonía y  tiranía. El nuevo líder Staff intenta mantener la paz hasta que su hermana Hammer lo reta y se convierte en el nuevo líder, pero sin el consentimiento de sus ancestros.

Luego nos muestran el paradero actual de Shang-Chi, en San Francisco EE.UU, donde tiene un empleo humilde en un restaurante en Chinatown, donde ahora quiere mantener un perfil bajo y dedicarse a una vida más tranquila...hasta que recibe una visita inesperada de Leiko Wu para informarle sobre la nueva actividad terrorista de la Five Weapon Society.

Otra visita de Brother Sabre y Sister Dagger le explican que debe ir a reclamar el liderazgo de Five Weapon society eso alerta a Shang -Chi porque cree que su hermana menor Sister Hammer corre peligro, pero ella lo que quiere es asesinar a Shang -Chi. 

Arte y Trama

Esta nueva encrucijada diseñada por Gene Luen Yang ofrece la oportunidad de conocer más del pasado de este héroe, dejándolo mostrar su lado más sensible. Por otro lado el arte de Dike Ruan ofrece ese dinamismo en las peleas y Philip Tan nos deleita con un toque clásico del pasado con los flashbacks.

Es un buen punto de partida para nuevos lectores.

Resumen

Shang-Chi debe resolver una complicada disputa familiar donde pueden salir heridos muchos inocentes.

What's going on?

Five Weapons Society operated for many years under the rule of its leader Zheng Zhu, until his favorite son ended its hegemony. Staff the new leader tries to keep the peace until his Sister Hammer challenges him and becomes the new leader, but without the consent of his ancestors.

Then they show us the current whereabouts of Shang-Chi, in San Francisco USA, where he has a humble job in a restaurant in Chinatown, where now he wants to keep a low profile and dedicate himself to a quieter life ... until he receives an unexpected visit from Leiko Wu to inform him about the Five Weapon Society's new terrorist activity.

Another visit from Brother Saber and Sister Dagger explain to him that he must go to claim the leadership of the Five Weapon society that alerts Shang-Chi because he believes that his younger sister Sister Hammer is in danger, but what she wants is to assassinate Shang-Chi.

Art and Plot

This new crossroads designed by Gene Luen Yang offers the opportunity to learn more about this hero's past, letting him show his most sensitive side. On the other hand, the art of Dike Ruan offers that dynamism in the fights and Philip Tan delights us with a classic touch of the past with the flashbacks.

This comic is a good starting point for new readers.

Summary

Shang-Chi must resolve a complicated family dispute where many innocents can be injured.
