Jupiter's Legacy Requiem el cierre de la saga de Jupiter's Legacy (Jupiters Legacy Vol 1 y 2, Jupiter's Legacy Vol 3 y Jupiter's Legacy Vol 4) que tendrá 12 capítulos escrito por Mark Millar e ilustrado por Tommy Lee Edwards. Millar y Edwards ya habían trabajado antes en el cómic 1985 de Marvel.
Este cómic explicará qué ocurrió en la isla misteriosa que le dió los poderes a The Unión en 1929 y nos trasladará al futuro con la próxima generación de súper héroes liderada por Jason el nieto de Utopian, que asume su manto.

El próximo capítulo del fenómeno global de Netflix de 2021 comienza aquí cuando MARK MILLAR regresa para la secuela de una de sus series más aclamadas por la crítica. Chloe y Hutch se han casado y han tenido más hijos. Los superhéroes están trabajando en armonía con la humanidad y creando un mundo perfecto. Pero no todo está bien en el Jardín del Edén cuando la familia Sampson se desgarra y los secretos de la misteriosa isla comienzan a revelarse.
Este cómic incluye arte del recién fallecido artista John Paul Leon.
Trama.
Este cómic comienza e el año 2051, 40 años después de los eventos de Jupiters Legacy Volumen 4, el mundo y los super humanos viven en armonía, Chloe y Hutch tienen 3 hijos mas parte de Jason, se llaman Otto (con poderes que controlan la tecnología), Sophie (poderes psíquicos) y Barney (sin poderes), Sophie no quiso formar parte de la nueva generación de superhéroes y Otto es antisistema y desea inmiscuirse en los problemas políticos/sociales de los países del planeta.
Chloe y Hutch se separaron, Chloe sigue brillando como la nueva Lady Liberty, ya ha tenido varios matrimonios, ha sido presidenta de EE.UU y hace 6 semanas se fue al espacio a responder una llamada de auxilio. Mientras Hutch vive la vida de una celebridad olvidada por el mundo, lleno de deudas y solitario.
Jason asumió el manto de su abuelo como el nuevo Utopian, sus poderes son impresionantes, la secuencia inicial lo muestran deteniendo varias catástrofes mundiales de una manera épica.
Pero Jason no logra sacar de su mente lo que ocurrió en la isla, quiere saber dónde está y cómo es posible que un dispositivo que su abuelo encontró en Júpiter sigue intacto luego de 1 millón de años.
Jason está casado con Gabriella, que posee poderes similares a Neutrino (Jupiters Legacy Volumen 4), pero su obsesión con el tema de la isla hace que le pida ayuda a su hermana Sophie y exhuman el cadáver de su tío Walter para infiltrarse en sus recuerdos y ver qué fue lo que paso en la isla...lo que muestran es ESPELUZNANTE.
Brandon sale de la cárcel, convertido al Budismo y al parecer arrepentido de todo lo que hizo, quiere conocer a su hijo (un basquetbolista multimillonario), Otto lo contactó para pedirle ayuda en su plan antisistema pero Brando no quiera saber de eso.
El cómic cierra con una conspiración en contra de los superheroes, donde Power House intenta detener un tren, algo que hace de manera rutinaria pero alguien le arrebata sus poderes y ocurre una tragedia.
Esta nueva saga amplía el universo de personajes, donde es más fácil haber leído los cuatro volúmenes anteriores para poder disfrutar más de esta trama intensa, donde Millar no se contiene y de una vez empieza con todo. Mucho misterio gira en torno a lo que sucedió en la isla y sobre la conspiración en contra de los superhéroes.
Arte
Tommy Lee Edwards ofrece un arte lleno de texturas, muy dinámico, uno de los mejores de su carrera, la secuencia inicial es hipnotizante, nos ofrece un mundo utópico y futurista/esperanzador y al mismo tiempo terror y violencia.

Resumen
Jason lidera la nueva generación de superhéroes del planeta, que al parecer viven en una perfecta armonía pero todo no es lo que parece, en especial lo que en realidad ocurrió en la isla en 1929.
Esta nueva saga comienza con fuerza e intensidad a un magnífico ritmo narrativo

Jupiter's Legacy Requiem closes the Jupiter's Legacy saga (Jupiters Legacy Vol 1 and 2, Jupiter's Legacy Vol 3 and Jupiter's Legacy Vol 4) which will have 12 chapters written by Mark Millar and ilustrated by Tommy Lee Edwards. Millar and Edwards had previously worked on 1985 from Marvel Comics.

What's going on?
This comic begins in the year 2051, 40 years after the events of Jupiters Legacy Volume 4, the world and super humans live in harmony, Chloe and Hutch have 3 children plus Jason, they are called Otto (with powers that control the technology), Sophie (psychic powers) and Barney (no powers), Sophie did not want to be part of the new generation of superheroes and Otto is anti-establishment and wants to meddle in the political / social problems of the countries of the planet.
Chloe and Hutch separated, Chloe continues to shine as the new Lady Liberty, she has already had several marriages, she has been president of the United States and 6 weeks ago she went into space to answer a call for help. While Hutch lives the life of a world-forgotten celebrity, debt-ridden and lonely.
Jason assumed the mantle of his grandfather as the new Utopian, his powers are impressive, the opening sequence shows him stopping various world catastrophes in an epic way.
But Jason can't get out of his mind what happened on the island, he wants to know where it is and how it is possible that a device that his grandfather found on Jupiter is still intact after 1 million years.
Jason is married to Gabriella, who possesses powers similar to Neutrino (Jupiters Legacy Volume 4), but his obsession with the island theme causes him to ask his sister Sophie for help and they exhume the corpse of their Uncle Walter to infiltrate his memories. and see what happened on the island ... what they show is incredible CREEPY.
Brandon gets out of jail, converted to Buddhism and apparently sorry for everything he did, he wants to meet his son (a billionaire basketball player), Otto contacted him to ask for help in his anti-system plan but Brando does not want to know about it.
The comic closes with a conspiracy against superheroes, where Power House tries to stop a train, something he does routinely but someone takes away his powers and a tragedy occurs.
This new saga expands the universe of characters, where it is easier to have read the previous four volumes to be able to enjoy more of this intense plot, where Millar does not contain himself and starts with everything. Much mystery revolves around what happened on the island and the conspiracy against the superheroes.
Art
Tommy Lee Edwards offers an art full of textures, very dynamic, one of the best of his career, the opening sequence is hypnotizing, it offers us a utopian and futuristic / hopeful world and at the same time terror and violence.
Resume
Jason leads the new generation of superheroes on the planet, who apparently live in perfect harmony but everything is not what it seems, especially what actually happened on the island in 1929.
This new saga begins with force and intensity at a magnificent narrative rhythm
