¿De qué viene?
La polvorienta ciudad desértica de Redemption sobrevivió al apocalipsis, pero pende de un hilo. Un déspota gobierna la ciudad con puño de hierro y controla su recurso más preciado: el agua. Cuando este hombre déspota sentencia a su madre a muerte, la joven Rose Obregón se aventura en el peligroso páramo para buscar la ayuda de la legendaria pistolera Cat Tanner, solo para descubrir que la llamada "Carnicera" hace mucho que está retirada, vive en soledad, lejos de lo que queda del mundo, y prefiere mantenerlo así.
Cuando Rose llega a la puerta de Tanner, con hombres armados persiguiéndola, el Carnicero tiene que tomar una decisión: sentarse al margen o coger sus armas y hacer lo que mejor sabe hacer?
Trama
Esta es la batalla final!, Rose llega al pueblo de Redemption a salvar a su madre Inés de la orca, pero Stonewater la estaba esperando y la atrapa para así ahorcarla con su madre.
Pero Cat llega en el último minuto y las salva pero debe enfrentarse a Lexi, el odio entre ambas justifica este tiroteo que termina rápido.
El encuentro entre Cat e Inés es conmovedor.
La historia cierra algo brusca, poco revelaron de los motivos de Lexi y tal vez hacía falta un final más poético para Stonewater.
Así cierra este genial volumen de una historia que mezcla distopía, western crepuscular y una historia de amor imposible que la sociedad logró obstaculizar
Arte
Mike Deodato Jr crea una obra artística única, muy diferente a todo lo que ha hecho anteriormente, con una heroína con un look único que nos la podemos imaginar adaptada en una serie o película

What does it come from?
The dusty desert town of Redemption survived the apocalypse but is hanging on by a thread. A despot rules the town with an iron fist and controls its most precious resource: water. When that strongman marks her mother for death, young Rose Obregon ventures into the perilous wasteland to seek the help of the legendary gunslinger Cat Tanner, only to discover that the so-called "Butcher" is long retired, living in solitude, far from what's left of the world, and preferring to keep it that way.
When Rose arrives on Tanner's doorstep, with gunmen hot on her trail, the Butcher has a choice to make: sit on the sidelines or pick up her guns and do what she does best?
Plot
This is the final battle !, Rose comes to the town of Redemption to save her mother Inés from the killer whale, but Stonewater was waiting for her and catches her from her in order to hang her with her mother.
But Cat arrives at the last minute and saves them but must face Lexi, the hatred between the two justifies this shooting that ends quickly.
The meeting between Cat and Ines is moving.
The story closes somewhat abruptly, little of Lexi's motives revealed and perhaps we needed a more poetic closure for Stonewater.
Thus closes this great volume of a story that mixes dystopia, twilight western and an impossible love story that society managed to hinder

Mike Deodato Jr creates a unique artistic work, very different from everything he has done before, with a heroine with a unique look that we can imagine her adapted in a series or movie.
