Elvira, la presentadora nocturna de filmes de terror las décadas de 1980 y 1990 encarnada Cassandra Peterson, regresa con aventuras en su formato de cómic. Elvira es una mujer voluptuosa y divertida que ama el género del terror y el look gótico, su película Elvira Mistress of the Dark del año 1988 es de culto. Su principal característica es su agudo sentido del humor/auto-consciente y que frecuentemente rompe la cuarta pared. En este cómic resaltan todas estas cualidades.

Trama
En este entrega Elvira llega hasta el clásico de Frankestein de Boris Karloff para detener a Vlad que lo secuestre, pero en este momento descubre que Vlad está reclutando un ejército de seres excepcionales en todas sus versiones cinematográficas, dónde el Doctor Frankestein es clave, es decir, la alineación de este ejército debe incluir una mente brillante como la de este doctor.
La otra revelación es que Vlad sigue un plan orquestado por otra persona, es decir, hay alguien misterioso detrás de todo esto, Vlad lo llama "el director" porque le ha mostrado las películas donde quiere reclutar a su próximo integrante.
Los diálogos de esta entrega siguen esa autoconsciencia y guiños a la cultura pop tan inteligentes e hilarantes.
Esta entrega está llena de revelaciones interesantes y luego de que Elvira fracasa en detener el reclutamiento de los Doctor Frankestein, llega hasta los hombres lobo.
Arte
Kewer logra destacar la sensualidad de Elvira en cada uno de sus paneles, así como su picardía y de la misma manera recrea con una exactitud hipnotizante esas escenas clásicas del cine de Frankenstein.

Plot
In this issue, Elvira reaches Boris Karloff's Frankenstein classic to stop Vlad from kidnapping him, but at this moment she discovers that Vlad is recruiting an army of exceptional beings in all its film versions, where Doctor Frankenstein is key, that is to say , the lineup of this army must include a brilliant mind like this doctor.
The other revelation is that Vlad follows a plan orchestrated by someone else, that is, there is someone mysterious behind all this, Vlad calls him "the director" because he has shown him the movies where he wants to recruit his next member.
The dialogues of this chapter continúes to follow that self-awareness and nods to pop culture that are so intelligent and hilarious.
This installment is full of interesting revelations and after Elvira fails to stop the recruitment of Doctor Frankenstein, she reaches out to the werewolves.
Art
Kewer manages to highlight Elvira's sensuality in each of her panels, as well as her mischief, and in the same way recreates those classic scenes from Frankenstein's movies with mesmerizing accuracy.
