¿De Qué viene?

De los co-creadores de Something is Killing the Children, The Nice House on the Lake, The Department of Truth y Powers, ganadores de varios premios Eisner y superventas del New York Times, llega esta ambiciosa experiencia de cómic de no ficción que representa historias reales. de abducciones de ovnis con miras a capturar la extraña esencia de esos encuentros.

La locura y la paranoia continúan afectando la cordura de Betty y Barney Hill mientras buscan ayuda para determinar si sus pesadillas pueden haber sido recuerdos perdidos de su encuentro con extraterrestres.

También incluye "True Weird: And I Have Been Promised It" de Genevieve Valentine, Ming Doyle y Aditya Bidikar.

TRAMA Y ARTE

Este cómic incluye dos historias, la primera en la principal y larga que queda abierta para varias entregas y la segunda es una historia corta de una sola entrega:

BLUE BOOK escrito por JAMES TYNION IV con arte de MICHAEL AVON OEMING y rotulado por  ADITYA BIDIKAR: Betty y Barney Hill sigue con las sesiones de hipnosis del Doctor Simon, donde revelan muchos detalles de esa noche, donde ambos coinciden en mucho, sin embargo Simon dice que todos estos recuerdos terminan siendo las pesadillas que Betty escribió en un diario, que son parte de su imaginación.

Pero Barney y Betty creen en esto. La hipnosis logró al final su cometido, darle más tranquilidad y menos ataques de pánico a ambos, sin embargo todo toma un giro cuando se hace conocida en la prensa su historia, convirtiéndose en el tema de discusión del país y trayendo problemas sociales a ambos porque empiezan a juzgarlos.

Pero Betty y Barney le dieron una vuelta al asunto y con un periodista editaron un libro con las transcripciones de las sesiones de hipnosis.

Barney falleció joven, solo apenas unos años luego de la edición del libro y nunca imagino todo el escrutinio que Betty durante muchos años , donde científicos y creyentes de los OVNIS  intentaron explicar los sucesos de esa noche. Betty falleció a avanzada edad convencida de lo que vivió.

El arte sigue mantenendo ese tono y paleta de colores azul y negro, que ayudado a un exclente leguaje corporar, explica como ambos vivieron el escurtiimmio publico.

TRUE WEIRD “AND I HAVE BEEN PROMISED IT” de GENEVIEVE VALENTINE  MING DOY y ADITYA BIDIKAR: narra el caso de Helen Duncan, quien estaba obsesionada con investigar sobre sucesos paranormales y todos sus hallazgos, quien fue enjuiciada por una ley antigua.

From the New York Times bestselling and multi-Eisner award-winning co-creators of Something is Killing the Children, The Nice House on the Lake, The Department of Truth, and Powers comes this ambitious, non-fiction comic book experience depicting true stories of UFO abductions with an eye to capturing the strange essence of those encounters.

Madness and paranoia continue to take a toll on the sanity of Betty and Barney Hill as they search for help in determining whether their nightmares may have been missing memories of their alien encounter.

Also including "True Weird: And I Have Been Promised It" by Genevieve Valentine, Ming Doyle, and Aditya Bidikar.

PLOT

This comic includes two stories, the first in the main and long one that remains open for several installments and the second is a short story of a single installment:

BLUE BOOK written by JAMES TYNION IV with art by MICHAEL AVON OEMING and lettering by ADITYA BIDIKAR: tBetty and Barney Hill continue with Doctor Simon's hypnosis sessions, where they reveal many details of that night, where they both agree a lot, however Simon says that all these memories end up being the nightmares that Betty wrote in a diary, which are part of your imagination.

But Barney and Betty believe in this. Hypnosis finally achieved its goal, giving both of them more peace of mind and fewer panic attacks, however everything takes a turn when their story becomes known in the press, becoming the topic of discussion in the country and bringing social problems to both because They start judging them.

But Betty and Barbey turned the matter around and with a journalist they published a book with the transcripts of the hypnosis sessions.

Barney passed away young, just a few years after the book was published and I never imagine all the scrutiny that Betty received over the many years, where scientists and UFO believers tried to explain the events of that night. Betty passed away at an advanced age convinced of what she experienced.

Art continues to maintain that tone and palette of blue and black colors, which, aided by an excellent corporate language, explains how both lived in public scrutiny.

True Weird: Grande Peur by Lonnie Nadler, Jenna Cha, and Aditya Bidikar: narrates the case of Helen Duncan, who was obsessed with investigating paranormal events and all her findings, who was prosecuted by an ancient law.
