Sinopsis
Conceptualizado y escrito por el galardonado guionista Simon Birks, ANTARCTICA sigue el viaje de una joven ingeniera llamada Hannah, cuya vida implosionó el día que su padre no pudo regresar de la secreta Estación de Investigación Smith-Petersen en la Antártida. Sola y en la calle, y en su momento más bajo llega la esperanza cuando un amigo le ofrece ayuda. Recapacitada como ingeniera, Hannah consigue un trabajo en la misma estación antártica para buscar a su padre y tropieza de cabeza con una conspiración que amenaza todo lo que siempre ha creído.

Trama
Hannah Curtis está sumergida en el duelo de la desaparición de su padre, que trabajaba en un misterioso proyecto en la Antártica.

Excelente inicio de una historia que habla sobre el dolor del duelo en circunstancias llenas de misterio y ciencia ficción.
Arte
Es muy detallado, captura las expresiones faciales con cierto grado de hiperrealismo, recuerda mucho a la estética de cómics como Heavy Metal.

Hannah Curtis is immersed in mourning the disappearance of her father, who was working on a mysterious project in Antarctica.
Hannah lived as a young beggar and with the help of Jim, she managed to study a career in mechanics, but when Jim passes away, she again loses her purpose, so she focuses again to find her father.
She applies for a job at the mysterious Smith Petersen company at the base in Antarctica. In this place she is going to find something shocking, totally unexpected related to her and her father.
Excellent start to a story that talks about the pain of grief in circumstances full of mystery and science fiction.
Art
It's very detailed, it captures facial expressions with a certain degree of hyperrealism, it's very reminiscent of the aesthetics of comics like Heavy Metal.
Summary
Hannah prepares to learn the true fate of her beloved father, but she's in for a bigger mystery.
